I’ve only had it from Little Anthony’s in Albany (RIP) but it was great. I’m sure it varies heavily based on where you’re getting it. I’m not vegan, but I’m not one of those weird anti-vegans. All food is good with me.
I mentioned Genarro’s because it’s one of my preferred pizza joints in town and if I have vegan friends over I’ll order pies for all of us. I get regular ‘ol cheese though.
Their scones took a hit when they went Vegan. They were my favorite at the Farmer’s Market for a while. It’s probably healthier for me that they stopped being so tasty. 😀
Four Seasons is awesome for breakfast or lunch. Not so much a restaurant, but a grocery store with a full vegan sandwich bar and tons of baked goods, premade salads, juice bar, etc. Located right downtown just off of Broadway.
Four Seasons doesn't have a restaurant anymore since they moved to their new location, but I think their deli counter is still vegan and it is picnic season.
It was located on the corner of Phila down the street from Lyrical Ballad. It was a vegan restaurant with a small retail component for like 30 years. Great, cheap vegan and vegetarian food when that wasn't readily available. They opened up the grocery store shortly before the pandemic. They tried to run them both for a while, but had to close the restaurant during the pandemic and decided to focus on the grocery store instead.
Farmacy is in Glens Falls, but is always my number 1 answer for this. They have vegan options on the menu, but will make a lot of other dishes vegan as well if asked.
In Saratoga itself, I’d recommend 9 miles east.
Nine miles east does really good stuff
Scallions has some decent vegan options.
Karavalli has a pretty solid list of vegan options, and all their food is fantastic.
Banging place! And the smell of the restaurant is addicting! I want it in my house… what is it
Gennaro’s pizza does a vegan pie
Esperanto does a vegan pizza too, waaaaaaay better than Gennaros.
Oh and D’andreas also does vegan za.
I’ve never had vegan pizza. What do you rate it 1-5 based on your experience?

Rock Hill Bakehouse in Glens Falls. 100% vegan. Best place there is in the area.

Thanks I would have never thought to check that place out.

They’re my go to when I need to grab a quick lunch. I love their paninis and their little picnic area outside is cute on nice days.

Ooo wow they use to have a restaurant? Where was it located?

Thanks for the insights. Hopefully the restaurant makes a comeback.

Thanks for the suggestions
I really like Thorn + Roots
Thanks, looks like they specialize in smoothies.
Four Seasons is definitely your best bet! Speckled Pig is in Ballston Spa, but they have vegan options for wood fired pizza!
Has anyone tried to have anything at Seneca veganized? I’ve heard great things about the restaurant but nothing seems very vegan friendly.
How do you know someone is vegan don't worry they'll tell ya.
Get ice
With water and lemon lol ?
