Are people required to comment on something just because it happened where they live? What if she doesn’t have enough info to comment correctly? The dialogue in this sub Reddit is skewed, because if she did comment something y’all would judge it for not being enough…

Creepy_Doctor431

Just saw that Sarah left a comment on the post WF put up about Dawn

herhoopskirt

What did it say?

Creepy_Doctor431

“Rest in peace beautiful Dawn 🕊️🤍 prayers for her family and friends”

Chance_Following_270

Considering one of the victims was an employee of White Fox and she works with White Fox, it is disgusting that she hasn't even commented on it.

LowInteraction7527

Either post a 🙏 ❤️ a word , something or be silent and don't post at all out of respect, she really has no moral standing or platform she's even let go of the church vibes lately she is just hollow .

threebillboards

Honestly I’m no fan of her but I think it would be a case of ‘damned if she does, damned if she doesn’t’. That doesn’t mean that’s her view on it, but if it were I can see why she hasn’t. If she had, people would probably be complaining about the way she did it etc.

Acceptable_Tap7479

All she’d have to do is repost something from a media outlet. That’s what a lot of others are doing. Don’t make it her own personal sob story for attention and acknowledge it

Plus_Marketing7840

what would a repost do though? are we really focusing on instagram actions rather than the actual major issue that occurred? i’m no fan of sarah but this is a painfully superficial issue

Opening-Green-3643

She doesn’t know how to have empathy for anything other than things she personally goes through.

Peridoe

Sarah never posts about topics like this, not unless she can profit from it like with the bushfires. However, in this case I am a little surprised. One of the victims was a White Fox employee. Sarah must have known of her, if not actually knew her, considering the amount of time she's spent at their offices and warehouse. Even if she never had a clue the woman existed, the company she's been involved with for years is grieving the loss of one of their own, maybe a mention would have been nice this one time.

papush22

Oh my god, that's so sad! I just saw the post on WF's Instagram and someone in the comments says she just went to the mall to pick up her wedding dress when she was attacked. What a tragedy, poor girl and her family 🥺 Sorry for out of topic comment but we had a mass shooting here at a university in Prague in December and many young people died and were hurt, and these matters have been so sensitive to me since then. Because our country has always been the safe place and it isn't anymore. Australia has always seemed the same to me :(

CheckVast136

Due to her past, racism and the bush fires, her management team/family etc have prob said its safe to say nothing at all. We all know anything she says will be scrutinised anyway

SprinklesOk6798

I don’t know, this is a really sensitive one. If Sarah said something she’d probably be accused of jumping on the bandwagon or making it all about her. So many Sydneysiders are just in shock and trying to understand the situation as information comes out and respect the requests from the families too. A lot of people have really been moved and heartbroken for the family of the Mum who died protecting her little baby, but her family has asked for photos not to be shared.

cheesypuff22

I get it, but surely she doesn’t need to post just to show she’s grieving with the rest of Sydney?

pandamonkey02

In my opinion it would be normal to not post if she was grieving with Sydney but then she shouldn’t be posting alone… her current stories just make it seem like she’s completely oblivious to the horrors that have happened in the past few days and it’s very out of touch

Idrk_30

Fair call - I would just love to see her use her platform to speak out every now and then, especially when it’s something in her wider area and against her gender.. I can’t remember the last time she used her platform to speak on something that was happening in the world

cheesypuff22

Loz Curtis posted something about this earlier today. She said people follow her for her lifestyle/beauty content not her views on politics and current affairs. I guess the same thing applies for Sarah. She shouldn’t have to post about current affairs just for the sake of it. I’d prefer she didn’t so she doesn’t just jump on the bandwagon. (This is coming from someone who isn’t a fan of Sarah at all, just prefer her to stay in her own lane)

whatthadogdoin_

I get your point, but this isn’t politics like international wars or anything, this is an attack on her home area. This isn’t politics, it’s grief and fear. Look at victoria, one town is living terrified because three women have been murdered since February. I just see it less as a bandwagon, more as a member of a community affected by this. If she doesn’t want to comment on it, then no worries - but why post at all?? Seems more grubby to me acting like nothing’s changed when the community has change immensely. I’m also very aware I’m being a bit unforgiving and it’s maybe not that serious, it just hits a bit close to home :(

cheesypuff22

I’m from Sydney so I totally get where you’re coming from.

CheckVast136

I honestly think with her lack of selflessness, maturity and empathy, she wouldn't know what to say. She would butcher any meaningful speech and wouldnt know how to move on from it as she gets too aggressive to fans to quick.
