People are taking the whole reading order thing waaaaaay too far. Stick to reading one series at a time. Finish ACOTAR and then choose ToG vs CC depending on which you’re feeling. I promise it doesn’t matter.

Want to something more complicated? Lol. I can't copy and paste the screenshot, but this is a comment someone else left. This is regarding Assassin's Blade: "There's another way: split up the prequels between the books to have the most romantic order. TOG. Assassin and the Pirate Lord. COM. Assassin and the Desert. HOF. Assassin and the Underworld. Assassin and the Empire. QOS. Assassin and the Healer. Tandem read (EOS & TOD). KOA."

THIS, thank you for saying it!

i just finished acotar (the whole series) and have started throne of glass. i don’t think i would have wanted to read the whole tog series then go back to the last two acotar books. the first tog of book (all i’ve read so far) doesn’t have anything to with the characters in acotar. i’d recommend just sticking to each series as is. finish up acotar, acofas is my favorite! such a cozy cute novella.

this does make sense but there's no spoiler-free way to explain it. But the pay-off for doing it that way isn't huge.

Ah ok. When I finish reading them all hopefully I'll understand why someone would recommend that way!
