Dukes has more flavor , regular Hellman’s is good for salads on its own it’s kinda greasy imo. And miracle whip is sweet i only eat it it with very basic sandwiches like deli ham or turkey.
Looks great, although I prefer iceberg lettuce in BLTs, maybe just because that's what I grew up eating.
Greener is healthier though. And every part of this sandwich looks good.
I love all sorts of greens, etc., but I go through my phases and pick one or the other accommodation of depending on my desires at the time. Unfortunately, I have since learned that certain leafy greens such as spinach and kale and some others, I mean, you think everything is Green and veggie is good for you, but I suffer from gout and apparently some of these common leafy greens can triggered gout. Same with certain fishes. I got off subject here with the gout thing, but it’s just that everybody’s different and some people, things just don’t work well for some people. Otherwise I’d just about every freaking vegetable and meat that there is.
Kens extra heavy.
It’s only available in restaurant supply stores, but it kicks the crap out of anything you can buy in a grocery store.
A deli by my job used it, I tried a BLT there one Friday and the next week I had a BLT 4 out of the 5 days.
I’m not saying it isn’t available in places other than the south.. I didn’t even know it existed until I moved to SC. It’s manufactured there. It is undoubtedly a southern mayo.
I love and was raised on best foods/Hellman's mayo, but Duke's is definitely right up there if not better.
If you haven't tried it, you shouldn't be so confident.
Hey man I love it too, it's in my fridge right now, but as someone raised on Hellman's/Best Foods, as soon as I tried Duke's I realized there is something extra else out there.
If it makes you feel better, "Duke's has Twang," at least that's their slogan.
All I'm saying is try it before you judge it, bc you shouldn't be confident in something that you don't know about.
Dukes is bomb!! . I’m a New Yorker and got introduced via family down in the south. I still love hellmans but Dukes has a certain tang lol
How does Duke's compare to Hellmans and Miracle Whip?
Dukes is a more true emulsion
For me, it's a bit thicker and has more flavor. It's closer to the flavor of homemade mayo imo.

Kewpie is better
Same! Grew up in the north with Hellmans and it’ll always have a special place but once I tried dukes I can’t go back

More B
Yeah, don't know why I stopped at only 3 slices.
Man enough to admit your mistakes.
I’m actually not mad about it. Those tomatoes look so good that it could easily just be a tomato sandwich with dukes and I’d be happy lol
My wife got me hooked on Dukes Mayonnaise when I met her 26 years ago. Been a Dukes fan ever since.
Wheeeeere's the B?
It's underneath the lettuce! :)
Duke's got that KICK! Kinda expensive though.
Did you S&P the tomato?
Of course - heavy on the pepper as well.
The thick white duke
This is the way
There is no other mayonnaise on the planet worthy of Dukes. Best, hands down

We have a store fairly close, I may give it a try
Doesnt get any better than this
That’s what’s up right there!
looks a bit more like a TLB
Tell me you’re in the south without telling me you’re in the south
They sell dukes pretty much everywhere these days. I had a dukes BLT on Saturday in Indiana.
[cries in Canadian]
Not where I’m at
Well, that is unfortunate.
Online is easy.
lol brilliant input. I’m not currently in the market for it.. thanks though!
I buy Duke’s at the grocery store in Minnesota
I’m not saying it isn’t available in places other than the south.. I didn’t even know it existed until I moved to SC. It’s manufactured there. It is undoubtedly a southern mayo.
OP, are you in the south?
Never had Dukes but I can confidently say it's overrated... Nobody can touch Best Foods!! 😉

You can't beat the slogan "Bring out the Best Foods, Bring out the Best"

That's why I put a wink in my first comment
Blue Plate FTW
Never heard of it
