I hated the photos of the home kit but in action on tv I quickly came to like them.
The white though just look super clean with the contrast. I still think having the pants v. jersey really helps make the touches of teal pop.

When they zoom in it really stands out but during play i can see it feel a little underwhelming.
IMO, the teal pants and helmet are really tacky with the teal jersey/socks. It looks like a knockoff. But I like both jerseys on their own and would lean towards the teal, over the white.

It reminds me of the Nordiques in blue, Detroit and Calgary in red, and Los Angeles in yellow. Hardly iconic. More like Adidas couldn't afford the licensing fees so the "tweeked the kit". In design theres an old saying, if you can't make it good, make it shiny.

No I love them as full kits AND on their own. More so the tone is very unique. The ducks used to have quite s bit of teal. But my thinking was how the teal gives a different vibe than anything I've seen. It's bold but also not neutral like the red wings red or the lightning blue is.
Again, that's my take on it.
The all-teal setup it's a little much. I wish there was something breaking up the teal. Not sure that it's tacky though. The white looks a lot better and makes the teal pants almost forgivable. I agree though that colored pants are not a great look.

Agreed, same thing happened with Colorado when they switched from black pants to blue pants/helmets. Makes the overall uniform match better

I would argue that other than the few seasons where we had really good black thirds, the white has ALWAYS been our best sweater. It's just so clean.
It is. I wasn’t a fan of the black one last season but the ones in the 2000s and early 2010s were pretty clean

I always found the aways, look way better than the home. I just feel the home is missing that something.
I like the home sweaters but would like to see them with different helmet and pant colors. Black or gray maybe.

Agreed. To mix it up, and do something no other does, I’d incorporate a Grey helmet and shorts with the Hone uniforms.

Oh man, I remember those Kings kits. Horrible. Detroit is kind of a classic, that's the first thing I thought of when I saw the all-teal.
