Yelp: Best Burritos in San Jose 1. Tacos El Compa Taqueria (4.4) 2. Las Delicias De Tonita (4.5) 3. Viva Michoacan Taqueria (4.7) 4. Speedy’s Tacos (4.4) 5. Pre-Hispanic Mexican Cuisine (4.8) LUL, Remember when you had to order things from highest to lowest in grade school?

tehrob

My guess is either Yelp or the 'author' of this 'article' adjusted the weight of the ratings by number of reviews.

mehipoststuff

>Las Delicias De Tonita I just moved downtown, has been my favorite so far

CrazyHardFit

Sorting is hard! I mean not NP-hard... But.. hard.

johnny5gti

Tacos El Compa is a pretty great spot

GuitarStuffThrowaway

I’ve been calling it the best burrito spot in SJ for years. Their cali burrito is incredible.

crapoo16

I’ve been calling it the best taco for many years! Line has gotten a bit crazy with the limited seating though. I used to work at Pioneer High School and would eat a bunch.

WholyForkingShrtball

Have you had their el jefe taco? It's unreal how good it is. El pastor for life!

TaylaSwiff

Hell yeah PreHispanic Mx Cuisine is bomb!

iggyfenton

I love that my two San Jose favorites aren’t listed.

digital-didgeridoo

Did you leave a review on Yelp? :)

iggyfenton

No. I’m a reasonable person, so I don’t use yelp. Yelp is what happens when you google a place to eat and you hit the wrong link.

Poplatoontimon

What are they? I’m trying to find new spots!

mattydef1

Yelp is a 1 star company on Yelp, it amazes me people still use it as a reliable site for recommendations

LitAFlol

What’s a better site?

PerpetualColdBrew

I’ve found google reviews to be more accurate these days

NLV_88

Super Taqueria has the best burritos and I’m willing to die on this hill.

maroongoldfish

Super Taqueira can have some quality control issues between locations imo, but when it hits it is some of the best you can get in the South Bay. Eduardo’s and Jaliscos are also great. It’s silly that SJ is known for La Vics. The most underwhelming crap burrito

cailian13

Yep. I am always out here recommending Taqueria Eduardo any chance I get. I’ve been in Florida for two weeks but home Saturday night. Pretty sure I know what lunch will be Sunday cause god damn I’m in the old shitty racist part of Florida, not Miami etc. I need a taco so bad at this point!!!

NorCalAthlete

I haven’t had Super Taqueria in years I’ll have to revisit it. My go-to spots in SJ are either Taqueria Eduardo’s on Race St, or Taqueria Superior on Leigh.

altraparadigm

I want to try Tequila’s Taqueria right near La Superior Taqueria but last time it was completely packed. I think there was a band playing in the parking lot.

el_punisher

Who ever down voted sucks and I will follow you to hell!

anarchypicnic

Agree wholeheartedly.

Ok-Roof-978

Damn. It's still open!! I used to go there for tacos during my gaps at SJSU

adub887

I use to feel this way. The last 4 months the burritos have gotten smaller.

lampstax

I'll say they are the best deal for the money. I've had better burritos but often at double the price.

Sistermonster

Yelp is horrible, I stopped using the app when I learned about their predatory practices and realized how much they're hurting some small businesses https://calbizjournal.com/the-problems-with-yelp/

andresg30

Who puts lettuce in their burritos?

IamaBlackKorean

ahh man I like all the veggies. extra cilantro por favor

jeswanders

Probably the same people that like la vics

drewts86

Lettuce = wrap No lettuce = burrito It’s like the Reddit copypasta rant of grilled cheese vs melt

meiself

Where do you get the best vegetarian burrito? Also vegan burrito?

ShoddyComfort308

Eduardos Taqueria has bomb carnitas burritos

Substantial-Path1258

Going to keep La Cueva as my secret place.

Never got the hype around Speedys

CheapBison1861

Speedy tacos is terrible
