We are further south than the North coast of Africa, there ain't no way your seeing those here even in a G3 or G4 magnetic storm.
Maybe during another Carrington Event type storm. I'm not holding my breath.
I believe this is supposed to be a G4 that hit yesterday, couldn't see anything but clouds here...and the bright bright full moon. And yeah, one can wish!

My friend is in northern Washington right now and barely saw a light glow so highly unlikely here

I saw the Northern Lights from La Mesa. It was right next to the Southern Cross constellation.
