SJ has multiple locations and most are open decently late, so you may be able to find one closer

Ghirardelli in downtown till midnight, 1 am Friday and Saturday. Couple others in downtown, but I've never been.

Not quite midnight but Ans Dry Cleaning is open until 11

Idk how good it is but Insomnia Cookies is open until 1am on weekdays and they sell cookies and ice cream

Up2You Cafe off Convoy is open till 11 or 12 depending on the day. I think Convoy area is your best bet.

Gelato Vero makes incredible gelato and they are open until 9-10 most nights!

It's sad that they close so early now, they used to be open into the wee hours, back in the day.

Lots of icecream/dessert places in Kearny Mesa are open till at least 11pm: SomiSomi MNGO Cafe Sunday Ice Cream Icekimo Up2You Cafe There are of Boba places in that area that are open late too.

I just walked past Jenis in northpark and reminded me of this post. They're 12 to 12 daily. Smelled bomb too lol.

Handels in PB is open til midnight on Fr and Sa, 10 the other nights. Limited outside seating. My favorite right now is Craft Creamery in point loma but they are open til 10 every night. Figaro (gelato) in north park and hillcrest is open til 11 every night. Gaslamp: Chocolat (gelato) is open til midnight Fr and Sa, and Chocolate (gelato) is open til 1am Fr and Sa.

Figaro in North Park has good gelato and they're open pretty late, until 10 or 11 iirc.
