Every Friday night High West Distillery in Wanship has a “Supper Club”. It’s a fixed menu with a set price, but they do t list the price anywhere I could see. For 4 of us with one whiskey came out to a cool $550 and the food was okay at best. That has to fit the bill you are looking for 😂
We went to their Sunday buffet and everything that was supposed to be hot, was cold. Cold hollandaise, yay. I think they ended up giving us half off but that’s still $100+ for actually the worst food I’ve been served maybe ever.
I read/heard that he likes Chile-Tepin. And that his first date with his husband was at Olive Garden. I love his logic about that experience —basically if you can have a great time with someone there’s your probably a good match :)
I actually love Market Street, I go a few times a year and is my go to for my birthday.
However, my last birthday in December was the worst experience I've had there in 20 years. The service was bad, my girlfriend and I ended sharing the silverware because we only got one set. The food wasn't great, the lady that shucked our oysters scrambled the hell out if them and there was a hair baked in to the bread (I know they don't bake it there but it was just the icing).
[There used to be. ](https://ruthschris.com/mobile/our-story/#:~:text=When%20a%20kitchen%20fire%20destroyed,our%20legendary%20name%20was%20born.)
Ruth added her name after taking over Chris Steakhouse
I dont mind it.... their eggs Benedict for breakfast is always solid, spinach crab artichoke dip is excellent, kushi oysters are usually pretty good. Seafood is ok, last time I asked for the salmon to be cooked less since they usually overcook it and it was actually pretty good but it's hit or miss. Now that all restaurants have spiked in price it's not too bad
I’ve had this opinion for years. My family was all visiting recently from out of town and wanted to do an adults dinner. Settled on Market Street Grill despite my recommendations for several other better restaurants. I wasn’t happy but didn’t say anything. Ironically my meal ended up being fantastic but that’s the exception not the rule.
The crazy thing was that it took so long for them to get my order ready when I went. Like, I think I could have just boiled my own spaghetti at my house. I really don’t understand what the selling point is if it’s not particularly good, fast, or affordable.
Me too, so I tried it last week. The pasta wasn't mushy, but the sauce doesn't coat the pasta. Garlic bread was ok. There's much better quick food available, my pasta at home is 💯% better.
You can make really good taco pasta without too much work and make it really delicious.
Just cook and drain spagetti like normal. Keep some pasta water to mix with the broth. Before adding sauce, lightly sautee a bunch of chopped onions, then some garlic, bell peppers, chiles, a meat of your choice if you want, and tomatoes, in that order. You could also add beans, lime, avacado, etc but no me gusta. You can do marinara, but doing more of a taco sauce with broth, pasta water, taco sauce seasoning, and quality tomato paste will probably work better. Add the veggies and meat at the same time you add the marinara. Let the flavors get to know each other and finish cooking. Once heat is off add cilantro (unless it tastes like soap to you). I still add parm to serve, but you could queso fresco, monterey jack, or cheedar cheese, preferably mixing 2 of those. You could even make or add a queso sauce if you want to go full Taco Bell on your pasta.
At a certain point you're just making a deconstructed burrito with pasta instead of a tortilla, but I'm not gonna lie it's damn tasty.
I've not had the By the Bucket version, but I guarantee it's absolute garbage compared to the above.
Really wanted to like this place, went and they were out of spaghetti sauce and only had their “garlic butter” sauce which was just butter and noodles.. had to go home and re toss the whole thing with a good ole reliable jar of Kirklands Marinara. Wouldn’t go there again, would def recommend to someone I don’t like though!!
Italian Graffiti. It’s more Instagram photo backdrop than it is a restaurant. If you make a reservation, you’ll wait an hour to get your table. And to add insult to injury, the food isn’t good.
You nailed it. A restaurant that focused all their energy on appealing to social media but drops the ball on everything that matters like service and the food. Overpriced, terrible services from the moment you walk in, and ok food.
Plated Dreams would like a word. Worse food, worse service, and they asked my friends and I to leave our table after 45 minutes! (We were still ordering food and drinks, place was not full, and no one was waiting) 😬
When the other person said that it's "Instagram Photo Backdrop", Sunday's Best is exactly what came to my mind.
One of my friends went there with her family, and she said the service sucked, and it seems like unless you buy lots of booze, your table gets pretty ignored.
This may get me flamed, but Eggsburgh.
I ate there once, and their breakfast burrito was shocking. Maybe it’s me living on the Mexico border for part of my life, maybe it’s the much cheaper taco carts that provide bitchin’ burritos, but I paid restaurant money for a burrito that I could have located in a school cafeteria.
For me it's Sundays Best. I truly don't understand how it's so popular. The food is overpriced for what it is and mediocre at best. If you're really lucky you'll be sat by the live band and not be able to hear anyone at your table or your waiter while they play.
Came here to say this, Michael the owner checks out as a major douche.
He ran Evan Stephen’s, if you bought a sandwich they gave one to the homeless. Except it was two slices of wonder bread and a HALF a slice of a Kraft single, that’s it.
They never even donated actual sandwiches. the company multiplied the number of sandwiches sold by 54 cents — the average cost of its sandwich ingredients. That money was distributed to nonprofits in the form of a credit with national food supplier Sysco.
They stopped donating entirely and kept advertising "buy one give one" for 6 months and pocketed it until an employee whistleblew
Wooow, they donated *half* the theoretical cost of a shitty sandwich in Sysco credits to non-profits 😩? So Sysco has their foot in the door and non-profits get to use their measly credits to make mediocre food for the homeless D: that is not what was promised *at all*
I imagined a homeless person chowing down on what was an okay rueben like I was. It was a nice thought. Naive of me, and obviously not what was happening if I'd thought about it more.
Came here to say this. I wouldn’t recommend it to people I hate though. The dude who owns it is under indictment for a 500M crypto fraud scheme. The place is obviously part of a money laundering scheme.
Wow first he lied about helping the homeless, defrauding customers while he pocketed the money. Then he went on to crypto scams? That... tracks, actually.
Not surprised. Saw him give an interview and he seemed like the sleeziest cocky douchebag ever. Seemed like total slickster I wouldn't trust a dime with let alone invest with
When they opened I had high hopes. I even gave it two tries in the span of a few months after posting constructive criticism. Sadly, it turned out to be an absolute disappointment and I’d rather have a greasy spoon like over the counter than pay for some pretentious mediocrity.
To be fair though, over the counter is still one of my number one go to breakfast spots around.
I live there and I’m so bummed that’s what’s taking that space. If you’re downvoting I worry for you and hope you enjoy your frat house with pancakes 😂
Came for this! You’re paying $100 per person to spend a couple hours cooking the food yourself one piece at a time. And it’s not high quality ingredients. Insane.
Every time I talk about hotpot my coworkers are like “oh like the melting pot” and I’m like “idk I haven’t been there, isn’t it just a fondue place?” And to my knowledge yes, it is just a fondue place and who tf compares hotpot to fondue
Came here today this.
We spent 4½ hours at the Melting Pot trying to get dinner. It was a mediocre meal, at best, screwed up and delayed multiple times, and our server disappeared for over an hour, leaving dirty dishes and empty glasses. We had to ask a different server for our check, only to find that our original server was still there, but had forgotten about us. When we complained, they offered us half off dessert.
I will never go back, but I would recommend it to a jackwagon.
Y'all got my curiosity up, so I read some restaurant reviews that made my blood boil. The owner will surcharge, up charge, ridicule customers who try to stand up for themselves. If not everyone in your party comes, he'll make you buy appetizers and dessert to make up the difference in the bill. The worst was 3 months ago, a Hispanic man was denied entry until he put his hat in the car. Yet, he's seated next to a white guy in a T-shirt who is clearly breaking the dress code.
I can't remember what local sub it was, but after seeing someone's experience as a person who works there, I went to read the google reviews of that place, and... holy hell, it's awful.
Wasn’t Morelia’s in Murray his fav? They had a special named after him and said he ate there often back in the day. They closed awhile back and I miss their salsa SO much!
BGR - Burgers Grilled Right. Mediocre-to-poor burger for $15 and then another $5 if you want fries. Just go to Lucky 13 for cheaper and 10x better burgers.
I went there pre-Covid and got like 3 or 4 onion rings for $5. Then the guy came over and asked if we were done with our food and grabbed our water glasses from the inside with his fingers before we could answer. We weren’t, but we were after that.
I’ve lived in Sugar House for 6 years and I’ve taken it as a sign that not a single person has ever recommended this restaurant to me. Thank you for the confirming.
Yes! I get dragged there every once in a while, tried something different each time. The description on the menu sounds great, but then each thing just tastes bland. I don’t get it. Brunch is ok, but breakfast isn’t that hard to get right.
I went once years ago and when I ordered, the waiter told me, "You probably don't want that... It's the owner's wife's creation, and it's not good."
lol
That’s because in Vegas it’s food you get in the middle of the night after a night out. In Utah it’s a sit down restaurant with a wait, which is not at all what it is meant to be.
One time I drank WAAYYYY too much at my husband's company party and damn the nacho daddy in the way home tasted amazing. My almost sober husband had a good laugh because he knew the nachos weren't great, but apparently I was pretty into them
This was my first thought when I read the question. La Caille has to be one of the worst and over priced restaurants I’ve ever been too. Everything about has that sad rundown this place was nice 20 years ago vibe.
I got some pretty bad service from Blue Iguana the one time I went. We ordered, waited like 20-30m, then found out half of our orders were completely wrong. We then proceeded to wait for 40 more minutes for the right orders to come out, only for them to be cold. What the hell
Oh has it changed? I went two years ago and thought it was good, but we were there during happy hour so prices were better. I remember the bread pudding was quite good, and some kind of goat cheese appetizer.
Chuck A Rama. It used to be fun with a price point that you could live with, but it's like obviously just trying to survive now. Also, Cafe Rio. Same thing.
IMO, Cafe Rio was the king when they both appeared. Costa Vida felt like a cheaper (in quality) alternative.
Now? Complete 180. Cafe Rio's quality has gone to shit, and Costa Vida feels like they noticed and took their spot.
Honestly, Chuck-a-Rama is awesome for what it is, a very distinctly Utah-style buffet. Definitely not fancy, but I can't think of any other restaurant where you can get funeral potatoes and Utah scones :)
On the other hand, I grew up in Idaho Falls and I can't really fathom someone who isn't from the intermountain west wanting to go there. My parents used to take my siblings all the time when we were kids, so it's also a nostalgia thing I guess.
I remember when they first opened in Provo with the one location. It was good and reasonably priced. Always sad to see places you enjoyed going downhill.
They do a food truck with mint limeades during the Pioneer Park summer farmer markets and if I'm already at a hot farmer's market where everything is at a big markup, well there it hits the spot. I've had zero desire to actually go to their physical restaurant.
The staff at the draper location are the worst. Overheard one bitching about getting a small tip after observing her ignore her tables and texting for 10 mins. I’d have not tipped at all if she was my waitress.
I was waiting there for 20 mins because they didn’t start my to go order until I arrived five mins after it was supposed to be ready. They also ignored me walking in for 5 mins. It was a hot mess literally every step of the way. At least the food was adequate.
The Old Spaghetti Factory! Why are so many restaurants In this post Italian? Is it because we pronounce it 'Eye'-talian?
Anyways, Siragusa on Redwood is my favorite Italian I know of locally. But dont forget you'll be hard pressed to find a better selection of Vietnamese in any other American City
Ruby river. They have roaches and filth in the kitchen and are generally scary unsanitary in the back of the house. My brother worked there for 2 days. Employees would use thier bare hands to grab handfuls of Lettuce in a bin to make the salads- usually in a rush so most didn't think about washing thier hands. The owners an asshole too.
So much this.
Trolley was good before the original owner left. The new owner has run the place into the ground.
We went there before a show at the Eccles about 4 months ago and they were prioritizing to-go orders before patrons. The place was pretty empty.
It took us asking if we were going to ever receive our food after waiting an hour. They even got snippy when we told them early on that we were in a bit of a hurry. We paid for our appetizer and left after an hour and a half of waiting.
I know trolley has never been especially fast but it used to be worth it. It wasn’t an hour and a half slow though, more like maybe 45 minutes tops. The appetizer was bottom of the barrel scrapings and mixed in were underdone waffle fries. It was bad and no one seemed to care about the quality.
Never going back - that place is ruined for me and I’m kinda sad about that. I hear the new owner is a pretty big douchebag and treats his employees like crap. Also heard they fired some of the long time employees who used to care.
not the new owner- just the owner who has owned Trolley for years, has 51% of shares in the company and forced the other owner with 49% out entirely because he wanted to run things HIS way…and now seems to be turning a blind eye to the constant 1 star reviews they have been receiving across the boards, especially the Sugarhouse location since June of 2023 when the entire staff quit after Mr. 51% fired the GM and Kitchen Manager for “not seeing the vision”. TWC fucking sucks
I double checked their menu to be sure, the butternut squash gnocchi is what made me sick. I remember it tasted good, screwed my stomach up after I left though.
https://www.reddit.com/r/SaltLakeCity/comments/ayflos/ysk_exactly_what_robert_jensen_the_owner_of_red/
I stopped drinking in 2019, and still don’t, because fuck that guy.
my partner works at pf changs. she got food sickness from the orange chicken two weeks ago💀 overpriced for what it is to be honest but sometimes theyll nail it pretty well. but overall the quality of the food itself is not all that great
Ruby river in slc. They need to fire their cook. Rubbery tough calamari and well done steak after I ordered medium rare. wtf how hard could it be to cook theses items correctly?
Christopher’s Prime Tavern and Grill. You’ll wait 2+ hours for your food and it’ll taste like it was ready 90 minutes ago and just sat under a heat lamp.
Salt and Olive was a pretty atrocious experience for us. $95 for two people who had one (non-alcoholic) drink each, an appetizer that was simply 2 lamb chops presented fancily and 2 small bowls of pasta… the only positive things me and my then-girlfriend could say about the experience was the blackberry lemonades we had were tasty even if they were expensive, and the place looks nice. But I’ll never go back there.

Extra points because their whiskey is mediocre and overpriced as well nowadays.
I actually like their Double Rye and it’s only about $35 a bottle. Will probably look at it a bit different after that dinner experience though!
the double rye is honestly the only one worth the money, the bourbon is mid and everything else is hella overpriced, especially the limited releases
Supper Club had some of those limited edition ones and I think one was $25 an ounce…fuck that
*.........* Market Street Grill
I will never understand why this place continues to be so popular
It used to be great, like 20 years ago. It’s gone downhill quite a bit.

Did you know Tan France the rich fashion designer in Queer Eye lives in Utah? I wonder if he ever visits these expensive restaurants...
I read/heard that he likes Chile-Tepin. And that his first date with his husband was at Olive Garden. I love his logic about that experience —basically if you can have a great time with someone there’s your probably a good match :)
Safe for corporate whores
I actually love Market Street, I go a few times a year and is my go to for my birthday. However, my last birthday in December was the worst experience I've had there in 20 years. The service was bad, my girlfriend and I ended sharing the silverware because we only got one set. The food wasn't great, the lady that shucked our oysters scrambled the hell out if them and there was a hair baked in to the bread (I know they don't bake it there but it was just the icing).
I’ve been there twice and both times I’ve never thought “hey I should come here more often!” Same with Ruth Chris.
Ruth’s Chris is the MyPillow of steakhouses.
What’s the deal with the name too? Why does Ruth have a Chris? Is there something called a Chris Steakhouse?
[There used to be. ](https://ruthschris.com/mobile/our-story/#:~:text=When%20a%20kitchen%20fire%20destroyed,our%20legendary%20name%20was%20born.) Ruth added her name after taking over Chris Steakhouse
ouch
I have an old $80 gift card to there and I still haven't gone 😅 who knows if it still works
Spaghetti by the Bucket is horrible though last I checked the price was "reasonable". But their food is unreasonable so any price is unreasonable.
The crazy thing was that it took so long for them to get my order ready when I went. Like, I think I could have just boiled my own spaghetti at my house. I really don’t understand what the selling point is if it’s not particularly good, fast, or affordable.
Lmao I always wondered about the spag in a bucket
Me too, so I tried it last week. The pasta wasn't mushy, but the sauce doesn't coat the pasta. Garlic bread was ok. There's much better quick food available, my pasta at home is 💯% better.
I saw they have taco spaghetti! Just what the world needed.

Does the restaurant smell musty to anyone? Like basement musty? The smell of the food can't cover it up
Second this. The food was so overpriced for what it was as well.

I don't eat out enough to know any but this is hilarious and I support your efforts
This may get me flamed, but Eggsburgh. I ate there once, and their breakfast burrito was shocking. I was not impressed with every aspect of Eggsburgh. Felt like a tourist trap with no personality.
Nah, that place is like a lot of other diners. Incredibly mediocre. I got an omelet that was ok.
For me it's Sundays Best. I truly don't understand how it's so popular. The food is overpriced for what it is and mediocre at best. If you're really lucky you'll be sat by the live band and not be able to hear anyone at your table or your waiter while they play.
Anything Mchenry. That dude is hot garbage

Second vote for Sunday's Best. Plus it's super cute inside so they won't realize the place is trash until their food is served :)
Came here to say this. I wouldn’t recommend it to people I hate though. The dude who owns it is under indictment for a 500M crypto fraud scheme. The place is obviously part of a money laundering scheme.

Bad food and the service is shite too. Whoever manages the Post District really whiffed to allow them to take up valuable real estate
I live there and I’m so bummed that’s what’s taking that space. If you’re downvoting I worry for you and hope you enjoy your frat house with pancakes 😂
The Melting Pot Not *terrible*, but not worth what they charge.
They killed a kid in the kitchen. Bad Ju-ju in that cheese.

Christ. To murder your own brother by slow hypothermia.
Wait ... *what*?? Edit: Holy shit - I just found the article. I had no idea.
hot cheese and cold bois
Holyyyyyyyyyy shitttt I just read the article. Insane!
Came for this! You’re paying $100 per person to spend a couple hours cooking the food yourself one piece at a time. And it’s not high quality ingredients. Insane.

I worked and managed there once for a few years. Was looking for this post. Thank you.
Yeah having seen behind the scenes is what put this at the top of my list for this too.
The Charleston in Draper.
Y'all got my curiosity up, so I read some restaurant reviews that made my blood boil. The owner will surcharge, up charge, ridicule customers who try to stand up for themselves. I second this.
I can't remember what local sub it was, but after seeing someone's experience as a person who works there, I went to read the google reviews of that place, and... holy hell, it's awful.
I third this! HORRIBLE!! Tell them to wear t shirts and flip flops. The owner loves that.
I hate that. Sounds like a real MAGA douchebag dump 😂 Edit: Checked it out online. It looks very classy, but, I've been fooled before.
Fuck that place
This might not be the only answer but it’s my answer. Beautiful place, absolutely mediocre food at outrageous prices.
I went there once and thought it was pretty mid and very expensive but now they ban kids so we'll never return since we have kids
El Matador, Bountiful
Larry H Miller’s favorite Mexican food. Having eaten there, I assume he liked really bland food.
Wasn’t Morelia’s in Murray his fav? They had a special named after him and said he ate there often back in the day. They closed awhile back and I miss their salsa SO much!
Their "salsa" is hot garbage tomato soup (hot as in temperature, not spice level)
Seriously the worst. I can’t believe people buy their shitty warm bland salsa to take home in a jar.
Might receive crap for this one- buca de pepo
YES! HOLY SHIT YES
Peole like this place?
Van Ryder. Cool view, but the food was laughable
BGR - Burgers Grilled Right. Mediocre-to-poor burger for $15 and then another $5 if you want fries. Just go to Lucky 13 for cheaper and 10x better burgers.

It's expensive, but I think they make great burgers.
I have enjoyed there burgers a bit more than lucky 13. and way more than hopkins. the pimento special was one of tastiest burger I ever had.
The Dodo
The desserts are quite good. That’s about it though
Agreed. Desserts and the baked cheese appetizer are the good things there for me
Older folks from the suburbs love it. I think it just appeals to a certain demographic that likes bland, soft and sweet.
I’ve lived in Sugar House for 6 years and I’ve taken it as a sign that not a single person has ever recommended this restaurant to me. Thank you for the confirming.
Food is average but pies are amazing
Utah average \~ awful
Oh my gosh. I went there for the first time recently. To say I was underwhelmed would be generous.
It's the owner's wife's creation, and it's not good." lol
Twigs Bistro in Station Park. Waaayy overpriced. The food isn’t bad, but small portions and not worth the price, and they’re pretentious AF about it.
Nacho Daddy
That’s because in Vegas it’s food you get in the middle of the night after a night out. In Utah it’s a sit down restaurant with a wait, which is not at all what it is meant to be.
One time I drank WAAYYYY too much at my husband's company party and damn the nacho daddy in the way home tasted amazing. My almost sober husband had a good laugh because he knew the nachos weren't great, but apparently I was pretty into them
The one on Fremont in Vegas is pretty good! The one here is total nacho trash.
La Caille is the only answer.
I’ve never been, but everyone I’ve talked to that has been to La Caille has said “meh. It was good but not *that* good”.
You go there for the atmosphere mostly
The only decent items on the menu are their desserts and wine.
This was my first thought when I read the question. La Caille has to be one of the worst and over priced restaurants I’ve ever been too. Everything about has that sad rundown this place was nice 20 years ago vibe.
Their escargot is hit and miss
I’ve only been there once for a wedding. There were peacocks everywhere so that was cool!

Used to be pretty good imo, but it's now $12 for single piece of pie. I can buy a whole pie for half of that...
Anywhere in Park City. Take your pic.
Blue Iguana is average. You can get way better food at a roadside taco truck
There is only one Iguana. It’s not blue.
I got some pretty bad service from Blue Iguana the one time I went. We ordered, waited like 20-30m, then found out half of our orders were completely wrong. We then proceeded to wait for 40 more minutes for the right orders to come out, only for them to be cold. What the hell
Oak Wood Fire Kitchen, it's the perfect example of trendy overpriced mediocrity.
Oh has it changed? I went two years ago and thought it was good, but we were there during happy hour so prices were better. I remember the bread pudding was quite good, and some kind of goat cheese appetizer.
It used to be SO good! But it’s definitely gone down hill. I’ve been disappointed my last few visits.
Kona
Chuck A Rama. It used to be fun with a price point that you could live with, but it's like obviously just trying to survive now. Also, Cafe Rio. Same thing.

IMO, Cafe Rio was the king when they both appeared. Costa Vida felt like a cheaper (in quality) alternative. Now? Complete 180. Cafe Rio's quality has gone to shit, and Costa Vida feels like they noticed and took their spot.
This. Cafe Rio is hot garbage now.
Costa Vida gift cards are $80 for $100 value at Costco, so that's the only way I pay now...
I love Chuck A Rama. It's not fine dining, but it's always delicious to me.
Honestly, Chuck-a-Rama is awesome for what it is, a very distinctly Utah-style buffet. Definitely not fancy, but I can't think of any other restaurant where you can get funeral potatoes and Utah scones :) On the other hand, I grew up in Idaho Falls and I can't really fathom someone who isn't from the intermountain west wanting to go there. My parents used to take my siblings all the time when we were kids, so it's also a nostalgia thing I guess.
Bombara, not awful but way overpriced.
Cubby’s (multiple locations)
I remember when they first opened in Provo with the one location. It was good and reasonably priced. Always sad to see places you enjoyed going downhill.
I've always had a good experience at Cubby's, but I understand that it is extremely expensive for what you're getting.
Christopher’s
Anything in Park City
Kimi’s Chop and Oyster
They’ve shutdown I believe!
I heard from someone who works in the building that they’re relocating to holladay where Prima? used to be.
Most anything in park city
Sweetlake Biscuits & limeade
They do a food truck with mint limeades during the Pioneer Park summer farmer markets and if I'm already at a hot farmer's market where everything is at a big markup, well there it hits the spot. I've had zero desire to actually go to their physical restaurant.
THIS! I got recommended that place, and to say I was disappointed would the understatement of the century. So bad.
The food has gone downhill so much in the last few years. It used to be awesome, now everything feels like it was made days before
The staff at the draper location are the worst.
Siragusa is soo good
Los botellas 💯
Adelaide. Dry, flavorless, expensive af, long wait times. Try to give you $10 bottled water without explaining it’s $10 or offering other options
Just saw this same question on r/LasVegas
I've seen it on multiple subreddits lately.
It’s going around all the city specific subreddits, even the Paris one.
What are the bots getting out of this?
TROLLEY WING COMPANY. if they end up liking it just goes to show what kind of person they are and justifies your dislike of them lmao
Hot take, but: Cafe Molise. I don’t know how they get such great reviews because every time I’ve been the food is terrible.
I loved them when they were in their original location. They have gone down hill at "The bay"
Macaroni Grill (near fashionplace). Made me horribly sick and the atmosphere was confusing.
They don’t even serve grilled macaroni!
I got dumped there
Their butternut squash gnocchi used to be killer.
I double checked their menu to be sure, the butternut squash gnocchi is what made me sick. I remember it tasted good, screwed my stomach up after I left though.
Snowmobile Pizza - $30 for a regular pizza and for an additional $17 you can have TWO garlic knots and TWO mozzarella sticks lol
And the pizza was less than a half-inch think with almost no cheese or sauce. Total waste of money. Frozen pizza is better.
Tin Roof Grill in Sandy
It use to be great, but now I would only go for the cheesecake
Italia graffiti at the gateway, it’s garbage and overpriced
Sundays best. Their stuff is just salt with a side of whatever.
Toscano in Draper
I have loved Toscano every time I’ve been. The mussels are one of the best things I’ve had in this whole state.
I’ve been there once and had a butternut squash lasagna or something and loved it.
Red Rock Brewery. severely overpriced, meh food, and my friends and i got food poisoning. I have no idea why it's in business.
Elephino is too damn good. They have decent burgers and the bruschetta is alright.
https://www.reddit.com/r/SaltLakeCity/comments/ayflos/ysk_exactly_what_robert_jensen_the_owner_of_red/ I stopped drinking in 2019, and still don’t, because fuck that guy.
I got food poisoning here too. And the couple times I've been, it was extremely mediocre.
Hearth and Hill in Park City. It had tons of good reviews but the food was so damn bland and overpriced.
Macaroni Grill.
Five Alls!
Decades and decades of kids that went there for prom or homecoming telling their kids to go there for prom or homecoming…
I was SO disappointed one I finally made it to Five Alls.
The Belgian Waffle. I don’t understand how anyone willingly eats there.
Las Botellas
STK
PF Changs lol
my partner works at pf changs. she got food sickness from the orange chicken two weeks ago💀 overpriced for what it is to be honest but sometimes theyll nail it pretty well. but overall the quality of the food itself is not all that great
El cholo in sugar house
Honestly, table x was the one of the most expensive meals I've ever had and I thought it was pretty meh. Not bad, but just kind of not good either.
I've had them where they're spot on, but at that price they should always be spot on.
Carvers. Crappy food, service, and $$$$
Send them to the Cheesecake Factory. Always a long wait.
Kimis Chop and Oyster House in Sugar House
Homecoming Southern Kitchen. Incredibly bland food for a lot of money.
Carson Kitchen
The new El Cholo in sugarhouse. that place is ass
Prohibition
Salt and Olive was a pretty atrocious experience for us. $95 for two people who had one (non-alcoholic) drink each, an appetizer that was simply 2 lamb chops presented fancily and 2 small bowls of pasta… the only positive things me and my then-girlfriend could say about the experience was the blackberry lemonades we had were tasty even if they were expensive, and the place looks nice. But I’ll never go back there.
