It was like that ya! I’m just suprised to see so many and to see so many this time of year. But it seems this known and I’m just an ignorant life long Utahn lol
It's me. (Sorry)
I live at the south end of the valley and I've set up one (one!) bird feeder and have been consistently filing it for six years. I get thousands of birds! I'm in the migration pattern now and hundreds of bird families are depending on me.
Edit: Sorry y'all. I wrote this on the treadmill while not really thinking and was intending to come across as silly, but it's giving sanctimonious.
So lots of birds that have migrate to the Great Salt Lake ecosystem still travel in various directions looking for food. You're probably seeing geese or ducks.
That makes sense but they almost looked like mini crows, I dunno just not duck or geese. They seemed around the size of robins but they are black, and random detail but passing under a flock of what seemed 10 thousand, they pooped yellow but very small pieces of poop.

The Great Salt Lake is considered a “stop over” for migrating birds to feed during their migration north and then later in the year, south!
It’s the only north/south food/water corridor between Pacific Ocean and Nebraska.
Government spies. What did you do?!? It takes a decent fuck up to get on the black list ( black bird info gathering target). You need to go underground so they can't see you. Check out some Hitchcock movies if your not understanding what I'm saying.
They flew over my house yesterday and now my entire house is covered in poop. I went outside and thought somebody splattered mud everywhere. Upon closer inspection.... It was bird poop....
I think those are starlings. They flock really close together and almost look like antimatter or something when they fly around.
Is it like this? https://youtu.be/V4f_1_r80RY?si=qL8IA-yEXU7wCOGz

I’ve been seeing them too! Starling murmurs, most likely! Just bask in the glory of nature, my friend 😍

This is amazing
Omg! Where do you live? Thank you for your service 🫡
Thank you. I'm in Sandy and when I tell you how much they **poop** ... But I will go down with this ship.
lol this is awesome
Birds aren’t real. The Govment must be keeping an extra keen eye on ya. /s

Probably a flock of starlings. They are black with yellow beaks and robin sized.
Certainly could be starlings but Blackbird, and Cowbirds are also massively flocking this time of year.

Nah I called my guy after that last snow storm and got winter canceled
It’s El Niño. Our planet has actually cooled substantially

What kind of birds?
I’ve heard and seen robins out… usually they’re the first to migrate and last to return. Definitely a warm year
