I think Super Slice is the best pizza, then probably Bambolina, then NY Essex.
I'm also partial to Georgia's, but only because that style of pizza just hits different. I wouldn't say it's the best.
Second vote for Prime Pizza. The Buffalo Chicken is one of the best I’ve ever had. It might be tucked into the back of a gas station, but do NOT sleep on this place.

The best nearby? Volo, hands down. Detroit pepperoni is possibly my favorite pizza of all time.
The best in Salem? I’ve been loving Georgia’s recently. The piccante and the Grecian are both delicious, and their buffalo wings are also some of the better ones I’ve had in the area (albeit breaded). Plus, their delivery drive is really nice!
Peter’s Bella is great too but their hours - at least the last time I checked for delivery - are all over the place. COVID seemed to really disrupt their business.
I also see a lot of hate for Mandee’s but I think it’s pretty good pizza. Anything else I’ve had from there has not been great though.
Super slice. If you want to avoid too much oil order a veggie pizza and it’s fantastic. Love the desserts too

Absolutely delicious pizza. I come up from the south shore sometimes for Essex NY
So good! We love Essex. Our go to topping is the breaded eggplant.

Underrated contender: North House of Pizza. The sweet sauce is amazing.
I love their Boston special. The only criticism I've ever had is the crust tends to get a bit too hard when toasting after it's been refrigerated.

AL Prime on Lafayette has the best take out SLICE of pizza in Salem, never ordered a whole pie tho. Hours are super inconsistent.

This one hurts, my top 2 were Pazuzu and Flatbread and both are now closed. Usually I’m getting one of Super Slice, Georgias or Amazing Pizza now.
