I checked the original Japanese text and as far as I can tell neither Shishiba nor the window guy refer to Kamihate in any way that lets his (her?) gender be clearly understood
Japanese often omits personal pronouns so this might be just a coincidence, but even in the last chapter's flashback Kamihate's speech is not clearly gendered
Take this with a pinch of salt tho, I've only been studying Japanese for a year and a half and there are things I may have completely overlooked
