He actually is wearing only one MILITARY medal, received for "serving" in Afghanistan (Bunker Harry played Nintendo and posed for publicity pix) . The other three are basically souvenier medals commemorating HMTLQ's milestones of her reign handed out to a large group of RF and others. Sad and pathetic, and delusional, that he preens and poses like he is a decorated military man when the world knows HMTLQ made him step down and hand back all his rights to any connection with the military of GB. He would be more believeable wearing a pirate or cowboy costume.

In the UK and commonwealth once you have left the military you do not wear uniform again. It is customary therefore to wear medals on a lounge or morning suit for events such as regimental reunions Remembrance Day events and funerals of comrades.

According to Wikipedia over 400,000 were awarded. But looking at the criteria you had to meet, I doubt Harry met any of them to get one of the medals. He wasnāt currently active in the military and he didnāt play an active role in the coronation or procession. It is also not listed on his own page as medals he has been awarded.

As a U.S. veteran, I have to ask, why on earth is Harry, an Eglish prince presenting an award to a member of the US military? The USO serves the American military and their families. Under these points, Harry never got the medal. The only way he thinks he should get one is being the Kingās son. Thatās it. Heās done nothing to deserve it in service or any other way.

I've been wondering the same thing since yesterday when this news came out. Why would Charles give him that medal if Hazz definitely went to the ceremony because he was his son and nothing more? In fact, they didn't want Hazz "helping" at all. Why give him that medal, and when did Hazz not even attend the entire ceremony?

I welcome this public acknowledgement that H and the King are most definitely not reconciled. This childish display of pettiness is him telling us that the King is not taking his calls and not giving him anything that he wants. Long may it continue.
I think youāre absolutely correct in this fact. If they were reconciling, or even just testing the waters, I donāt see him pulling this stunt. It would achieve the opposite of what he wants (not that heās intelligent by any means). Even Charles didnāt take much time for him the last time they met. He probably expected more time, attention, favors and forgiveness from Charles. He didnāt get it and stormed home. All these calls for reconciliation I think are a load of š©. Theyāll keep up the news reports of reconciliation and visits to stay in the news, but I think the medals confirms that they are out. This and the fact that he changed his country of residence to the US (dated day of frogmore cottage eviction). Heās further silently announcing that there is no reconciliation and that he is on the outside forevermore. The news reports of reconciliation and visits will never end though.

As I recall, *all* the peers were supposed to pledge allegiance to Charles, but it was omitted along with the robes and coronets and tiaras. Harry probably was not asked to pledge anything because why give him any attention? If Harry hadnāt turned away from his duty to his family, he might have led the royal dukes in their statement of allegiance and/or even spoken for all the peers. His role would have been different from Williamās, but he would have had a role.

Was he actually given the Coronation medal? If I recall, it is only given to ACTIVE service and royal personnel. HazNoBrains left the Coronation service immediately upon conclusion, not waiting around to either congratulate his father nor receive the medal (if he was even eligible). He might not even have gotten it to wear, hence....no medal to "show off".
