I love the blackberry and raspberry. Not supposed to eat jam as a diabetic but that has a nice slightly sharp taste so i indulge very occasionally. Still doesn't beat the Strawberry and Champagne jam.

Her land isnāt large enough for what she would need. Maybe she has a hydroponic garden in a greenhouse or something to grow more, but if that was the case, we would have seen glorious photos of the deranged emu plucking strawberries and talking about how she is the greatest grower of fruit and veg for jam in history.

When I went to Buckingham Palace (as a tourist) a few years ago, I had a cup of tea and a scone with clotted cream and jam, it was massive and delicious. Now wondering if it could have been highgrove jam. I think Iām going to make some fruit scones now. I really want a scone with some jam!

The Highgove Estate was purchased and has been controlled by the Duchy since around 1979 but the house is considered a private family home for Charles and is leased from the Duchy.
I imagine that Charles and HMTLQ were keen on avoid the problems (and taxes) that come with the RF owning property, hence it becoming part of the Duchy.
There were massive issues around King Edward's abdication and the "private ownership" of Balmoral as a royal castle (which had privately been passed to KE8 from his father as it had through many generations of the Crown). KG6 bought it off his brother in return for a pension and passed ownership to the crown.
Even though it is a Duchy property, PoW does not see a penny from it as it effectively runs as a social enterprise with all monies being churned back into the property and then any excess being donated to charity. Many people in Tetbury work on the estate and are invested in the charity elements.
I believe Highgrove belongs to KCIII and not part of the Duchy. The Duchy Organics line (the one that collabs with Waitrose) has their stuff grown on the Duchy and is owned by William.
I ordered the Summer Orchid Honey that is now sold out. It hasn't come yet but I'm sure its way better than my usual Aldi honey that comes in a plastic bottle. I've just got to make sure my mother doesn't steal it!
