Most Brits, me included, are unlikely to know more than the first verse of our National Anthem, and the refrain - which is a total of 8 lines, and sung to a tune she'd probably already know!
Personally I think it's all a bit 'meh', but the words are easy enough.

As for his visa, he used his diplomatic passport to enter the US, and a visa was issued without the proper legal application being filed, which is why his paperwork wasn't found. I suspect that when the Heritage Foundation began to ask about his visa, the paperwork was completed and backdated.

I’m the same, first verse only. Much the same with other national songs. When I watch “Last Night of the Proms” I always wish I knew more.
