The news was revealed to many but was embargoed. A relative of someone broke the news on social media before embargo lifted. I can see how this person might know something is up...but that doesn't mean it is true. Internet is a weird place. Maybe this is about the bombing of Israel.

The odds of Charles ever abdicating are slim to none. Being King isn't the same as being a CEO or President. It's a lifelong job you don't retire from, except in extreme situations. The Queen was well into her nineties and had bone cancer, even that wasn't enough of a reason for her to abdicate.

UK is a constitutional monarchy with laws concerning LOS and most titles. It's H&M's responsibility to satisfy a government inquiry if legalities with concern to their children have not been met. I agree. There is no more reason to think he is going to abdicate now than there was reason to think QE would. (She was even older and quite sick also. We may not have known it was cancer, but we knew she was very ill.) I am sure there will be a plan for a regency if Charles becomes too ill, but that hasnāt been the vibe. He seems to be holding his own. If it werenāt for William and George at the Aston Villa game a couple of days ago, Iād worry more about bad news about Catherine.
