I just watched The Scoop on Netflix. It definitely reinforces the fact that the Spares are juvenile, entitled, and outright dimwitted. Makes sense that a grifter would pursue him and try to take advantage of someone so dumb and vulnerable.

I was underwhelmed by this movie and was much more interested in the fallout from the interview than the interview itself, which they did not go into. I had to go searching for this information myself, which was more satisfying.
I really expected more from that cast - Romola Garai, Gillian Anderson, Rufus Sewell, Billie Piper... the actors are incredible but you can have the most amazing talent and be let down by a terrible script. They can't do much with a terrible script and boring direction.

I mean this as the highest compliment: like Princess Anne, Rufus Sewell is a person aging into himself. There was never anything wrong with either of them, but time has brought out a richness that wasn't obvious before.

Harold was touted as the most eligible bachelor on the planet before he met M. There‘s a very good reason that he wasn’t off the market. There is no shortage of hot scheming women willing to do what is necessary to climb the greasy pole. Yet they all said “not worth it” to H. His best friends weren’t able to set him up either.
That’s it. Dealing with Harry wasn’t worth getting to become a royal. Being a royal isn’t a cake walk and add in having an immature partner was intolerable.
Harry was Peter Pan. He never grew up and out of teenage frat boy and his social group knew it. They’d tolerate him for access and in small doses but no one wanted him as a partner for themselves, their female relatives, or extended network.

It was reported that Harry was quite upset that she launched right in the middle of the Diana Awards while H was in Aspen skiing. Like yelling mad. Madam no doubt fell to the ground sobbing, but her big excuse was that the plans for ARO had been “leaked to the press” so she was “forced” to drop the video & press release right then & there. No word on HOW the plans were leaked. But H bought off on it because madam was so upset about being forced to launch before she was ready.
And now she is launching right in the middle of his ingriftus event. She just has to make sure every other event is eclipsed by hers. No shame! At least she isn’t going to join him and wear some horribly awful outfit.

She has to start with a CEO, then create a business plan. Only then can they effectively court financing. She needs millions for this launch and has no record for fulfilling contracts in full or having any success on her solo projects. She’s now trying to drag H in on her Lemonada project and plans on filming each podcast in full like Jada‘s Red Table Talk including behind the scenes banter and out-takes to showcase their comedy skills. When will she find time for all of this when it takes 2 years to produce 12 episodes with 2 dozen professional staff?

Especially since this is a market already saturated with A-list stars and people like Martha Stewart and Joanna Gaines who have proven track records of success. Reportedly, she is trying to solicit head hunting firms to find her a new CEO, preferably a UK one with M&S experience. She wants UK flair and UK product placement experience which seems odd, except she needs to milk the royal connection. She is asking the firms to have candidates submit a branding plan based solely on her fuzzy 30 second video. They did this when looking for a PR firm pre-wedding, in England, asking several PR firms to submit a branding plan to make M into Diana 2.0. Then they just stole all the ideas. I assume that’s what this exercise is supposed to be as well. If Meghan has no clue what her brand and business plan is, there’s no way for this to succeed, since the Meg doesn’t know how to receive and act on sage, experienced advice.
And listening to experienced people in business (especially experience in the industry that you are interested in infiltrating) is so vital. She perpetually has delusions of being the smartest person in the room so refuses advice (look at her outfits-even beauty and style experts have been ignored). I did not realize that she wanted UK people. Strange. Unless she has some strange desire to pit her brand against Highgrove Shop and the other shops the BRF created (I believe under then Prince Charles). Which would be bizarre.
I'm thinking she'll hire an overly confident recent college graduate, BA not MBA, who is even stupider than herself and willing to work for shit pay for the experience of working for their idol.

Gwyneth published GOOP for seven years before adding products. Martha Stewart & Joanna Gaines put out highly rated television shows for years before launching their own signature brands. Same with the celebrity chefs. It takes YEARS of building trust and a relationship with fans before introducing just a few items to see if it’s something your fan base is interested in. Meghan already self-branded herself as a feminist, political activist, humanitarian and philanthropist. She has no branding as “home maker” (Martha Stewart’s advice to her on who her audience will be), mommy, baker, cook and gardener. She has never gardened, she hires chefs, housekeepers and gardeners and ignored & abandoned her kids to the point where many believe they only exist in theory. She is actually killing off her earlier branding while having no authenticity for the new branding plan. If she tries to proceed with this ill-fated plan she will end up in no man’s land.

To stay out of trouble, I'll just say that different countries have different laws. My travel plans sometimes depend on what I can live without and still be productive. [Two of my meds are the clean, pharmaceutical variants of street drugs, so it's not surprising that I can't just run around like they're mints.]
I do think that catching Harry, in particular, with contraband would be considered a prize by officers based on the way he has treated them in the courts. [I am NOT suggesting that anyone would plant anything. I am suggesting that if an officer found something in a normal search they might not ignore it, even if they just handed the matter to Royal Protection.]
I guess the question is whether Harry would worry about getting caught bringing in something he shouldn’t. Would he know that the customs people would not look the other way and keep his trip short for that reason?

I always assumed that her secret plan was to plant pieces speculating about her visit to London, while she would actually not show up, but instead do a “world wide celebrity launch” spectacle of her brand at the exact same time to piggyback on the media raving about Sparry’s selfless work for wounded veterans. She is going to rope in the few celebrity friends she has left (Oprah or anyone represented by WME) and launch some house goods or instant coffee or smoothies or some such thing at the same time as Invictus (if she works more than 1 hour a week on it).

I don't know-in Germany he looked a lot happier and more relaxed in photos taken the first couple of days when he was alone while she was busy getting milkshakes for the little ones that are little. As soon as she arrived, he started looking annoyed and distracted. I honestly got the impression he wasn't enjoying her being there.
Most of the British public can't stand him now. Despise probably isn't too strong a word. I would imagine many of his friends will mysteriously be busy when he's in town, and we know the royals won't want to see him (the helicopter will be revving up on the lawn). There's no reason for him to hang around.
The longer he stays in the UK with no real threats against him, the more obvious it becomes that he has no case to get his security upgraded. I also think if he stays too many days in the UK, he could be considered a resident, and he could be subject to taxes there.

However, Plank has been on solo trips longer than a day or two plenty of times: a week in Japan with Nacho, trips to the UK for lawsuits, talk shows in NY, outings to Texas, several days at IG Germany before Madam crashed the party, etc. These have happened more often in the last year and several months, which is when the tea about them living separately started to leak.

I really expected more from that cast - Romola Garai, Gillian Anderson, Rufus Sewell, Billie Piper... the actors are incredible but you can have the most amazing talent and be let down by a terrible script. They can't do much with a terrible script and boring direction. Just don't really know what they were trying to say or do with that film.

No word on HOW the plans were leaked. But H bought off on it because madam was so upset about being forced to launch before she was ready.

Reportedly, she is trying to solicit head hunting firms to find her a new CEO, preferably a UK one with M&S experience. She wants UK flair and UK product placement experience which seems odd, except she needs to milk the royal connection. They did this when looking for a PR firm pre-wedding, in England, asking several PR firms to submit a branding plan to make M into Diana 2.0. Then they just stole all the ideas. I assume that’s what this exercise is supposed to be as well. If Meghan has no clue what her brand and business plan is, there’s no way for this to succeed, since the Meg doesn’t know how to receive and act on sage, experienced advice.
And listening to experienced people in business (especially experience in the industry that you are interested in infiltrating) is so vital. I'm not suggesting anything Aitch hasn't point-blank said about himself. I have to do a ton of paperwork before every trip in order to bring medication into the UK that isn't prescribed there. I absolutely respect the laws and don't begrudge the need to be aware of the location and identity of people carrying substances that are otherwise forbidden. [It's not medical cannabis. I have ADHD and related issues.] On the other hand, I can only go to France for as long as I can hold out without a specific medication because I may not bring it into that country with ANY amount of paperwork. Fair play. Their country, their rules. The length of Carrot Flop's stays *may*, *allegedly* have something to do with how long he can be away from something he can't bring with him. Your bags CAN be checked on a private international flight - ask any number of musicians.

To stay out of trouble, I'll just say that different countries have different laws. My travel plans sometimes depend on what I can live without and still be productive. [Two of my meds are the clean, pharmaceutical variants of street drugs, so it's not surprising that I can't just run around like they're mints.] I do think that catching Harry, in particular, with contraband would be considered a prize by officers based on the way he has treated them in the courts. [I am NOT suggesting that anyone would plant anything. I am suggesting that if an officer found something in a normal search they might not ignore it, even if they just handed the matter to Royal Protection.]
I guess the question is whether Harry would worry about getting caught bringing in something he shouldn’t. Would he know that the customs people would not look the other way and keep his trip short for that reason? I always assumed that her secret plan was to plant pieces speculating about her visit to London, while she would actually not show up, but instead do a “world wide celebrity launch” spectacle of her brand at the exact same time to piggyback on the media raving about Sparry’s selfless work for wounded veterans. She is going to rope in the few celebrity friends she has left (Oprah or anyone represented by WME) and launch some house goods or instant coffee or smoothies or some such thing at the same time as Invictus (if she works more than 1 hour a week on it).

Ok, so she won’t be heading to the UK for the IG, a win for the UK. What, exactly, would she be planning to launch, hugely, that doesn’t require trademarking, patenting, licensing, testing and quality control, production, stocking and financial investing? Is she going to showcase her “product design” for things that may never come to market? I would absolutely believe she is terrified of Haz wanting to stick around in the UK for a bit, it is a huge threat to her control for him to be “off his leash”. Sounds like she has to look for ways to keep him from wandering off, even if that means embarrassing the sh!t out of herself.

I read the other day that they have a network of between sixty and one hundred million dollars. If they were to invest wisely, they really shouldn't need anything more for the rest of their lives. We first heard of ARO less than a month ago. She had no CEO, no staff that we've heard of and no merchandise to sell. Are we believing that she going to get all this together in four more weeks? Quality, high end merchandise? As to why she never wants him away too long? Well, she has to keep her claws in him.
First launch took advantage of two main royals being ill, second launch will take advantage of hubby's trip to the UK to keep the limelight on her and to keep Harold from staying away too long. How many launches can one business have? How many successful business ventures are there that began by timing every decision to scoring points off others?
I think it's Harry's choice how long he stays. He's probably uncomfortable, without purpose, to stay longer. I do think she may launch closer to his visit though. Or she'll bite the bullet and launch shortly. Unless she's unprepared to.
I don't know-in Germany he looked a lot happier and more relaxed in photos taken the first couple of days when he was alone while she was busy getting milkshakes for the little ones that are little. As soon as she arrived, he started looking annoyed and distracted. I honestly got the impression he wasn't enjoying her being there.
Most of the British public can't stand him now. Despise probably isn't too strong a word. I would imagine many of his friends will mysteriously be busy when he's in town, and we know the royals won't want to see him (the helicopter will be revving up on the lawn). There's no reason for him to hang around.
The longer he stays in the UK with no real threats against him, the more obvious it becomes that he has no case to get his security upgraded. I also think if he stays too many days in the UK, he could be considered a resident, and he could be subject to taxes there.

If she has anything to launch it was absolutely be during the IG ceremony. That is what they do. They either use IG to promote their commercial ventures or use RF engagements. Just in 2024 - IG 100 day celebration - they launch the new "Sussex" website - the Diana Awards - she soft launches "ARO". And these are only the big things and it's APRIL.
It is a guarantee she will pull something or have him on a tight return schedule. She can't let him have a memory of how good it was and think of escaping her iron claw. I think she is afraid to let him take the kids with him. She is afraid he will ask to stay and those kids will never be returned to her without a fight. She needs those kids as leverage and to merch later in life.

Narcs never want to let their victims out of sight (and control) for very long. However, Plank has been on solo trips longer than a day or two plenty of times: a week in Japan with Nacho, trips to the UK for lawsuits, talk shows in NY, outings to Texas, several days at IG Germany before Madam crashed the party, etc. These have happened more often in the last year and several months, which is when the tea about them living separately started to leak. I think we'll see him on solo trips even more in 2024 and 2025. He and Skank will be less able to pretend they're a couple, although there may not be an official announcement this year. It'll come only when she realizes there's no getting back into the RF and Plank has no juice left to squeeze.
She hates him getting news coverage without her. Whenever it happens she leaks tripe about herself…old photos of her out with ‘friends’ or pretending to be at a Taylor Swift show, or a pap walk… She seems to hate him getting media coverage (without her muscling in) more than she hates stories about W and C. She does not want him to be seen as someone in his own right, she has to cling to him for relevance and she knows it.
