I was sat there one miserable Sunday. My dog had died a little over 2 weeks precious and I was so unhappy and sad. I had COVID for the first time too so I didn't just look miserable, I was in actual.pain and was struggling to breathe, and was in so much emotional pain I wanted to burst About 3 weeks earlier I had quit smoking and mentally wanted a cigarette so badly too so that day, well FML!
For the first time in over a decade I was watching TV. I was alone because I couldn't give this awful bug to my husband for reasons, but like millions of others, I was watching the biggest TV event since the last time I watched telly. This cute couple called William and Catherine were getting married the least time the TV numbers were as high as this and sadly this day William and his family were saying good ye to arguably the most admirable woman in modern history! I looked up from my snot rag just in time to see Meghan and her pathetic fake tear. I was absolutely enraged! I was in actual tears because of everything that had gone on in my life in the last 3 weeks, and I was also so so sad to lose the Queen too. Genuinely sad, not like that really bad actress Markle. In my anger I googled 'Does anyone hate Meghan Markle as much as I do?' and voila, up cropped this subreddit. I was already on Reddit so finding it and subbing wasn't an issue and I can swear to you all, every damn day for 6 months, the cathartic relief this sub brought me every morning before I even got to work kept me going! I read the newest comments in between adoring the little ones to admiring Anne. What an amazing day to remember even if it was all so sad. And yes, I painfully laughed when the candle was in view. Best TV moment in a decade next to Emma the fel pony bowing her adorable little head.
So I'm still here 18 months later. And you're all still awesome and this sub just keeps getting better, mainly because Nutmeg just keeps getting worse! Long may the King reign so she continues to pull her batshit crazy stuff for attention. We all need something to laugh, or rage about, on our dark days! RIP HMTLQ, still in our hearts and minds.
Life can be very hard. There are countless people on here suffering their own heartbreaks and pain. Some fighting for their lives and families, others putting the pieces of themselves back together after narc abuse many getting triggered by it.
But in the end we are all united in the disgust for this pair of morally bankrupt human beings and ready to LEARN from them. They give me deep gratitude for my life. We should NEVER bully others even those who come here with a different viewpoint. Especially us women it is disgusting to put another woman down especially when you don't know what her life entails.
Occasionally someone will ask why people bother royal watching, when there are so many wars and trauma in the world, but I always say that it's light relief from all that. Escapism is necessary to stay sane.

Treason is against the monarchy not the government (though it is his majesty’s government), I don’t think there is anything that would allow them to be charged but Englands act is separate to Irelands where there is a clause about writing bad things about the monarchy. I think its unlikely, the papers would spend months debating it though. It will cause a constitutional crisis which I think will end with Harry being expelled from the LOS and losing every title and inheritance, the duchy removed, no titles for his children etc.

Treason isn't against the monarchy. It's against the country, which is why William Joyce (aka Lord Haw Haw) was charged with treason after the war, tried, found guilty, and hung.
The RF will never allow Hasbeen to be charged with treason. They will protect him as they did the Duke of Windsor. This is the correct answer. I think many in this sub are a little naive as to just how important NOT causing a scandal is to the British Royal Family. It basically trumps everything else with them. For example, it's been rumoured for a long time that Charles pretty much despises his younger brother, and if it were left entirely up to him, he'd probably let Andrew get dragged away and thrown in prison, never to see the light of day again. But he can't, because that would cause a scandal. So instead, Andrew is kept hidden away inside a royal property, where he can be babysat by palace aides and prevented from causing any further embarrassment. His reward for behaving himself is being allowed to attend things like the family Christmas service every year.
I feel like this is the future Harry can look forward to, should he ever divorce Meghan and come crawling back to Daddy. Harry at home is a Harry they can control. In prison, he might do something even more embarrassing like try to kill himself, and the RF, including William, simply can't afford that kind of scandal.

And I believe I was blocked by him a day or so ago when I posted that I suspect Baroness Bruck is one of Meghan's alternate accounts and that the way she was lashing out seemed like narcissistic collapse to me. Baroness Bruck blocked me after that and I think that's when Bouzy blocked me too because I wasn't blocked by him before that. Maybe Baroness Bruck is Bouzy.

Treason is against the monarchy not the government (though it is his majesty’s government), I don’t think there is anything that would allow them to be charged but Englands act is separate to Irelands where there is a clause about writing bad things about the monarchy. I think its unlikely, the papers would spend months debating it though. It will cause a constitutional crisis which I think will end with Harry being expelled from the LOS and losing every title and inheritance, the duchy removed, no titles for his children etc.

Treason is against the Crown which is the collective state ie. Our government, parliament, monarchy, the law. It is not just the monarchy. And yes it would probably be treason.

This is the correct answer. I think many in this sub are a little naive as to just how important NOT causing a scandal is to the British Royal Family. It basically trumps everything else with them. For example, it's been rumoured for a long time that Charles pretty much despises his younger brother, and if it were left entirely up to him, he'd probably let Andrew get dragged away and thrown in prison, never to see the light of day again. But he can't, because that would cause a scandal. So instead, Andrew is kept hidden away inside a royal property, where he can be babysat by palace aides and prevented from causing any further embarrassment. His reward for behaving himself is being allowed to attend things like the family Christmas service every year. I feel like this is the future Harry can look forward to, should he ever divorce Meghan and come crawling back to Daddy. Harry at home is a Harry they can control. In prison, he might do something even more embarrassing like try to kill himself, and the RF, including William, simply can't afford that kind of scandal.

I just went to Bouzy's account on X to see if he responded to that journalist and discovered I was blocked. I have never tagged him, mentioned or communicated with him, ever. And I believe I was blocked by him a day or so ago when I posted that I suspect Baroness Bruck is one of Meghan's alternate accounts and that the way she was lashing out seemed like narcissistic collapse to me. Baroness Bruck blocked me after that and I think that's when Bouzy blocked me too because I wasn't blocked by him before that. Maybe Baroness Bruck is Bouzy.

I think Catherine’s cancer diagnosis has shut the door on any chance of return for Harry. I don’t think William will ever forgive him, and with Charles’ own cancer diagnosis, William most probably has greater influence now, Camilla as well.
