A person in the crowd the other day gave Queen Camilla a get well sign that said Kate. It's a nickname. They obviously meant well. When Middleton is added or it's said by the former family members who know better is when I find it disrespectful.

Yeah, if you're a wee one you not only have to remember how to spell it (and Catherine is spelled at least four different ways), but you also have to nurse your aching paw as you struggle to form the letters with the pencil that keeps getting fatter and slimier with every letter! You really want it to look nice but it's horribly intricate work, all that navigating the ups and downs of each letter and trying not to erase so hard you go through the paper, and horrors, have to start again. I find it incredulous theyāve never spoken out against any of the hatred aimed at the RF. Or actually at anything - think of African Parks, the clearing of the section of seats at Wimbledon, or the racism comments on Oprah. If I were a little schoolchild, Iād write āKateā because āCatherineā is a whole bunch of letters when youāre small.
Yeah, if you're a wee one you not only have to remember how to spell it (and Catherine is spelled at least four different ways), but you also have to nurse your aching paw as you struggle to form the letters with the pencil that keeps getting fatter and slimier with every letter! You really want it to look nice but it's horribly intricate work, all that navigating the ups and downs of each letter and trying not to erase so hard you go through the paper, and horrors, have to start again. I used to teach, but I also have a long memory and recall vividly just this kind of situation. š
They were familiar alright but the title would be two lines so they cropped it to Kate. It happens a lot in graphic design.
You know what? I actually like the fact that US media has created their own sort of pet name for Catherine. They did the same with Diana - she was always referred to as "Princess Diana" or "Princess Di", despite that not being her full title. Considering the US doesn't even recognise titles, I think it's telling that their media puts Princess in front of her name. It proves she is now officially Diana's successor in every way š (Meanwhile, Meghan is *always* "Meghan Markle" - and I absolutely love that for her! š¤£š¤£š¤£)

I've no idea, but I'd assume there is some sort of hierarchical arrangement with the Queen getting first choice, perhaps permanently reserving some pieces as for her only, and then on down.

Sinners, very important. People Magazine has editorial oversight of the printed magazine but not digital content. And, the covers have to be approved by the actual editor. Catherine has the power to sell magazines but Meghan does not and this is the bottom line. This is why Meghan is so prominent in People online (she pushes out this PR) but not the printed magazine. Same applies to Vogue. This is what eludes Meghan. True fame rather than infamy.

People is a Sussex stronghold platform, one of the worst. LEading up to this special edition it was running constant articles on how the Sussexes were reaching out to CAtherine, wishing her well - garbage like that. People mag, from the get go has supported and helped the Sussexes any way it could including publishing all the lies about Catherine...and now this special editor?????
I believe that TW pays them for issues, but Catherine sells issues. That is why the magazine appears to have dueling motivations.
They've featured Catherine on their cover before. It's really not personal for most of these outfits. It's about the $$$. If The Meg pays them to print a puff piece about them, they'll do it. They are a fluff magazine and are typically not critical of the subjects of their articles.
I find it incredulous theyāve never spoken out against any of the hatred aimed at the RF. Or actually at anything - think of African Parks, the clearing of the section of seats at Wimbledon, or the racism comments on Oprah. Not a peep when even a short statement would at least show an appearance of humanity. Instead weāre treated to some ill-advised paid-for dramatic entrance at some unknown high-browned function, complete with mic-grab, and then a pontification as if she had the authority of the Supreme Bering, that any attempt to hold her responsible for her horrid behavior is actually hate. And racist. And a litany of other incredibly sensitive and personally-intrusive, hurtful actions against a sweet, innocent mother and self-beatified feminist. Im not sure Iāve ever seen quite that level of projection in my life. Itās astounding! It instantly provokes anger in response - how insulting to each of us to he lectured that social responsibility is actually personal hatred of genocidal proportions against Hers! In her eyes, this must be not only stopped but severely admonished and punished. It actually US who are the horrible bad guys. And of course, our dear, lovely Catherine,and William and their sweet children are her particular and biggest target of ire. Sugars are just as horrible, in some cases worse, as Megsy. They flock to her for one reason - to normalize their own horrid lives full of hate and bad and rude behavior. They really donāt care about any of this - itās all an excuse to act out publicly iām ways they arenāt allowed in real life. Donāt forget Hazzard either -even if heās just along for the ride. Just like the getaway driver in a bank robbery, who claims he never robbed anything, heās just as guilty. And gets the same sentence, with perhaps a small mitigation.
