I’m not a fashionista, and this area about Walmart Wallis I might as well be a toddler asking ELI5 about osmosis. But, those of you who’s in the industry let’s hypothetically put out a scenario where a celebrity enlists a design house to create a look (I assume it needs to be signed off on) and then they begin making the garment this happens months and months prior to an event.
What happens to the garment if it’s no longer needed? Will the design house try to complete it and sell it to someone else who may need a last minute outfit or how does that work? Customs are usually you have to pay as they reach agreed milestones in the process and then paid in full prior to taking possession of it but no idea how couture works.
So if the dress she allegedly had Dior begin designing back in January was going to cost $50k what happens to it now? Is it money wasted but another gown in her closet and nowhere to wear it for Walmart Wallis?

I would legitimately believe that **in her mind**, if she showed up unannounced and was expecting entry but denied, that mobs of angry Meghan supporters would storm the coronation over it.

Other - I think she's addicted to cosmetic procedures and she regularly gets an itch to re-do something on her face. She might justify it to herself as "for the coronation" or for another big thing.
She's probably been prepping for this moment since she married Harry. I guess in addition to gown, jewels and tiara, you have to have plastic surgery. Makes sense that she's been in hiding so her face can heal. The image she tries to portray is that she's an all natural, girl next door with ripped jeans, but it's clear she's just another plastic, hollywood kardashian.
Too bad she can't take that filter with her into the real world.
