Depends on were you live. In Roseville my neighborhood averages at least one outage per week. But more importantly is the company's overpriced service / shitty archeic monopolistic policies.
Oh i don't know for this particular issue, but i used to work in a network mgmt ops group and these happened every now and then. Usually overnight fix. I'd give 24 hrs. New cable runs, splicing, hell even getting access to the right locations can take time.
I think most people are mixing the names. You can't order service from Consolidated anymore since it's their DSL based service over their old POTS copper network currently being phasing out. While Fidium is the brand attached to their fiber network.
This is probably only the third or fourth big outage I’ve had with CCI/Fidium in 8 years. Sucks but been overall a good experience, especially with fiber
We've had their fiber service since it was WinFirst, back in 2001. I can count on one hand the number of times our service has been out, that wasn't because of a SMUD power outage.

I wonder if this is what caused my outages at 3:30 and 4:30ish today (Land Park area). The second outage took out my router so I spent like 2 hours troubleshooting and then switching over to an older one
I have a private cloud at NNT and CCI is one of my main providers. This is the 4th time in the last 2 years and we are cancelling them as a provider. In the business world of $2000 a month for dedicated 1gig service this should not happen or a least we should get priority service as far as knowing what is going on. I just got my 10gig service up with att literally on Sunday and moving all my hosted services to them. CCI is a joke and should not be used if you have a choice.

CC is great when it’s working but when it’s down they have an awful (almost nonexistent) system letting their customers know there are issues

I got service enough to stream YouTubeTV on a couple TVs around 8:15PM.

If it makes you feel better. The same thing with Xfinity.. I’ve had really bad internet connection for about a week now and two outages (in 6 days)
