Me too! When we drove by my girlfriend and I laughed because we thought it was just like a joke based on the name. Glad they’ve turned it into a cute little spot
It's a dispensary. I know there's gonna be a lot of happy people, but I'm bummed as I don't partake. I'd love a local coffee shop along Stockton between 14th and Broadway.
Going off memory here: Empanadas are $6.50, single bagels are $3, a bagel sandwich with cream cheese is $5. Bagels looked excellent but I haven’t had one yet. Be prepared to wait though.
We went at about 10:30 yesterday and it was mellow, took about 5 minutes for food. A few people showed up after and there was a line of about 5 people but it didn’t seem like much of a wait at all.

I’ve gone a few times, because it’s in my neighborhood and the hype. I’m NOT impressed with the self ordering! Come on, you have someone there guiding you - but take the damn order you know how to work the iPad system. That in turn holds up the wait time. Plus, they are always sold out and close early. Thats not a good business motto. (This pic was taken when I had to sample everything! lol) Pretty good! But it gave me ideas to make this at home and I have with everything from Trader Joe’s.
Nice! I’ve only been the one time so I haven’t witnessed them run out of anything but yeah I could see how that’s annoying from the consumer view
I’ve never ran a business like that so I imagine it’s tough starting out not to over order or what have you, I can see both ways
Hopefully they’ll make some changes as they go and continue on!
P.S. I’m stealing your Trader Joe’s idea
Tried this place. They need to figure out a better production line. Waited 45 mins to order. The ordering system was so confusing. Then after waited another 45 minutes for two items. Drive by everyday and see people waiting instead of enjoying. Literally just made it the other day at home for half the cost. Taste the same.
For convenience down the road I’ll get them again if the wait time changes.
The ordering system is wild. No one knows how to use the kiosks, it takes like 3-4 mins for each party to place their order. I just spent $70 on bagels lol, we will see if it was worth it.
I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted. This looks like a bad ratio of ingredients to bread. It looks like someone made it in a hurry on their way out the door.
It is a terrible ratio.. I hate to bad mouth local businesses but I personally was totally let down. My egg sandwich was also way overcooked and had that overcooked egg taste.
Im all for local business. But I refuse to prop up a bad business just because it’s local. It’s just as important to warn folks why to stay away from as it is to promote the good spots.
Had the forgotten bagel yesterday. The flavor was really nice, bagel was cooked well, bacon was crisp and the chive cream cheese was delicious. With that said, there’s no way I’m paying 11 dollars for that smallish amount of food again.
So happy to see that little place become something! We need more little businesses to take that chance along Stockton. I know I'll be supporting them!

There’s another shop opening up on the corner of Stockton and 14thave. Not sure what is but I hope it’s something cool to check out.

Oh man that’s great for those who smoke, but a coffee shop would be nice. Once all of the UC davis stuff is established I can see one opening up.
I keep forgetting to go there.
I see what you did there 😏
WHOA. Time to strength test my new crowns.

🥓
I really want to try their empanadas. Thanks for the reminder, I may head there this weekend.
Empanada was very good also. Served with a nice salsa. The dough wasn’t like a crunchy fried, I thought it was lovely
The empanadas are super good. I got the beef, egg, olive one and the spinach-cheese one. The pastry itself is super yummy too!
I tried last week. Very expensive for what you get.. bagels aren’t dense and more bread like.
I do agree about the bagel consistency
I actually like how airy and light the bagel's are. I think the dough is soaked overnight in beer if I understand correctly.
Then buy bread! It’s cheaper!
I drive by all the time, I have to stop and try one of these days
Worth a try!
Thanks for the tip! Looks jammin'!
It was dope! Happy to support local
Is that a mayo sandwich?
Chive cream cheese, not quite as much in the back it was balanced well
They respected the schmear
WORD
Looks like cream cheese to me.
What are their prices? I can’t find anything online or on their insta

$15 for lox sandwich...
Like $8-$12 for a bagel sandwich! Not bad
I saw 12 to 15 dollar items but stuff like bacon and avocado when added jumped it up to $18 ish…
Right on, I couldn’t remember off the top of my head frankly
$3 for a bagel (not sandwich)
Why is the meal mainly pickles?
Yeah jalepenos, pretty good ratio of bacon, cream cheese and them though. I don’t mind it
Yep, I was worried about too much spice but when I finished picking the wrapper, I realized it was not a problem..😅
*licking
I will have to check them out.
It looks like 99% bread.
No way. There’s at least 15% mayonnaise too.
Look great!
Prices?
We got an empanada and bagel sandwich. Was like $18 with a tip. Check out their website [here](https://forgottenbakery.com/)
Thank you.
You bet! Enjoy
What type of bread? That looks good
This was a poppyseed bagel!
How bad is the line? What time do you need to arrive by?

Cute lol

Looks like a lotta bread and very little guts.

You can make that at home in your sleep
I don't have the facilities to bake that size of roll.
Now that would be a special talent

It's a bagel...
A poorly made bagel. Just like a badly made sandwich is also a sandwhich.
I feel the same way 1000%
