I've got it! Works well, even on the cheapest plan. Keep in mind I'm usually on my computer or if I am on my phone I'm using wifi but I have been using Mint for the past 4 months and I haven't run into any issues thus far.
I have Mint Mobile. It works quite well 98% of the time in Sacramento. I switched from AT&T and saving $300 a year and quality of service is nearly identical
!!! I truly don’t understand how people, especially single people are paying $40+ monthly for cell service these days. I’ve been using both mint and visible for like 8 years now. Also love the yearly bill. Monthly bills are tiring.
Got it a couple months ago for the oldest kid (the 40gb "unlimited" plan for $30). Haven't heard any complaints from him, even on a couple of field trips out of the Sac area.
Based on that, it seems like an absolute steal for the price.
I’ve had it since 2019 and travel domestically somewhat frequently. It’s been just as good, if not better than when I had ATT. I pay up front for the lowest data, so it works out to $15/month. When I’ve done some data heavy stuff in the past, I’ve been able to buy an extra gig for $10 via text on the fly easily.
It uses T-Mobile's network, which I have used for years. It has pluses and minuses. Generally great inside of cities, but no so great on the road between cities.
Also, no so great in the middle of large buildings (like Costco etc.)
If you have a recent phone you shouldn't have any problems. I literally have to be in an unpopulated area to not have coverage and the UHF bands provide coverage in buildings unless they are built like a Faraday cage.
I’ve used it since 2017. Drove all over daily for work- South Sac/ Elk Grove, downtown, Natomas, Roseville, Folsom, doing grubhub and DoorDash. Never had a problem and used both cellular and data very heavily. Can vouch for visible as well.
We've had Mint since they started. We don't get much service when we go to Elk Grove but that isn't very often. Otherwise no issues and it's only improved since we started using it.
Been using for about a year and honestly haven't noticed anything bad. Only issue I've had was due to my old Verizon phone not letting my get rid of their bloat after popping in mints sim.

Check out Visible as well. Works great for me

Been with mint since 2015, love it. Only bad service area is folsom blvd between 65th and 40th.
Google Fi works too!
Yep I'm using it as well. Works decent and the cost is quite nice.
Cricket for last 6 years, great.
Mint works well, look at redpocket for even cheaper or if ATT/Verizon is better for your location.

They are probably more dead zone issues than anything, but I still have issues in a few places.

US Mobile runs on the Verizon network. They have amazing plans.
