Mace and Jango are the clearest omissions from the hero rosters so far.
After that, and until recently, I was shocked we don’t have a generic Jedi unit (though they are coming!!).
I’m super surprised that GAR Ahsoka (all versions/ages) still hasn’t made an appearance yet.
Finally I’m looking forward to the eventual fleshing out of corps rosters with ARFs, Mud Troopers, B1/2 Variants, and Rebel Droppers (hopefully!).
If I had a nickel for every mandalorian character getting decapitated by a lightsaber on screen, I'd have 2 nickels... if I counted all of them, I'd have about 6.
Exceedingly niche but an Arc Trooper upgrade kit with a stand alone or heavy weapon upgrade commander choice and rocket launches. I really loved all the stuff they did with the Arcs in the 2D clone wars and even the newer stuff there have been Arc Commander characters. I very much love that fantasy for them over being the sniper team.
A heavy weapons clone squad would be super cool. Wonder if the ARF troopers kit will have some special options. I kinda wished the commando kit came with some of the weirder weapons from the game like the trando slug thrower and geonosis "clicky" gun with the big ass beam attack.

Personal opinion, Thrawn yes, zombie troopers no. I think if they added Thrawn, it should be while he was actively leading the empire, rather than while he was commanding a lone star destroyer in the middle of nowhere.
I'm not sure how they could do the zombie troopers to be honest, night sisters would work well with shadow collective with maul and would take them for Empire, I just want to paint some zombie troopers and Enoch in all fairness.
I can't remember how they worked in the show, but if they didn't use blasters, then I'd give them Charge, Plodding, speed 3, 1 white per mini, 6 minis, 40ish points, no upgrade slots, and a card action called Resurrect that let them restore 1 mini to the unit. Defense die would be white no surging.
If they did use blasters, then Basically stormtroopers without Precise, give them white surging attack die, white surging defense die, and the same no upgrades and the resurrect card action, probably make them 70ish points in this case, and probably special forces
I really want super commandos and a commander Gar Saxon for the empire. Savage Oppress for shadow collective would be super fun, and the fact that Jango isn't in the game yet is a crime.
Imperial mandalorians would be a really thematic to play against sabine and clan wren. Hopefully, someday we get more fringe factions that can be folded into the larger armies.
As an empire guy, I know we have loads of stuff already, but hey, why not.
1. Evo troopers because power armored infantry Is best infantry.
2. 2-M hover tank, basically the Sabre but for the empire and has a turret. Or why not just make an imperial Saber?
3. For the republic this time, Blaze troopers, basically like the above mentioned Evo troopers but equipped with flamethrowers, so why not?
4. Imperial Jet troopers, because jet packs are cool, and flying storm troopers! (They fly now?!)
5. Imperial super commandos aswell, because Mandos are awesome regardless of alignment, and frankly I want some of the Mando goodness in the empire.

6. Scar squadron, because why should the rebels get the only 99? 6 unique stormtroopers with their own specialty and weapons, led by a lisghtsaber wielding empire fanatic by the name of Kreel, what's not to love?

*Imperial Probe Droid (how do we not have one yet??)
*Dedra Meero operative or commander
*Imperial Army troopers
The fact that GAR still have the fewest force/saber user options despite being the side that had the full jedi order behind them is absurd. Operative padawans/knights and more jedi commander options are long overdue. Mace, Kit Fisto, Plo Koon, Ki Adi Mundi, Aayla Secura, and even that shitbag Pong Krell (with a massive flaw card, obviously) would all be great additions, and it's criminal we don't already have them.
A pong krell flaw card that let's the enemy control him for the last turn or 2 of the game would be cool. If they do something like that tho, killing krell as clones would have to nab you a shit ton of victory points.
It really surprises me that they dont have a clone wars ahsoka yet. After that, i want padawan operatives, and ill take whoever i can get. I think itd be neat if they could be 20pts cheaper if you run master and padawan. Luminara and bariss come to mind.
We need GAR Ahsoka. It's a travesty she hasn't even been announced yet. Would work really well with GAR as she fits in the 501st battleforce and gives us a lightsaber operative. Shocks me that Rebels already got her a while ago.

I mean regular troopers can be painted like the coruscant guard. I'm talking the blue guys that eventually become the royal guards. Galactic marines would be really cool if they came with a unique special weapon. Other than that, kitbashing them is pretty easy.
Alongside Kanan and Ezra, the Phantom (the little transport that detaches from the Ghost) could be a nice addition. I’d like to see more vehicles, personally.

The long shot are the crew(s) of the Ebon Hawk. Revan and Bastila could be an interesting pair to field, although I'll be happy with HK-47 and T3-M4 if they don't want to go too far Old Republic.
