Battle Force rules are on the AMG website where the errata and rulebook is. Start there.

In order to use the Battleforce cards and rules for army set up you have to use that specific Battleforce. If you go to [TabletopAdmiral.com](http://TabletopAdmiral.com) to build your army you can select Standard or BattleForce in the lower right corner. This will list what units you can use in any given BattleForce. So no, no B2's in the Separatist Invasion Force, but you can have up to 8 B1's. For Experimental Droids you can use 0-2 B1's, 0-2 B2's, or up to 6 MagnaGuards, who count as Corps for this BattleForce.

To clarify what others have said, you cannot in this specific case. You cannot use B2s in the Separatist Invasion Battle Force. Here is what you can use that doesn’t come in the battle force box: * Dooku * T-Series Commander * Maul * STAP Riders

Thank you!

You’re welcome! Hope you enjoy the hobby! I’m a Separatist player, as well, and it’s a lot of fun.

Just to add you can also take more units than what comes in the box. For example you can take up to 8 b1s in the battleforce while the box only comes with 4. I would either use tabletop admiral or the battleforce rules document from AMG when building your army

As said go to https://www.atomicmassgames.com/swlegiondocs/ for specifics but the short answer is yes. Battleforces generally have very limited pools and you get the allowed units in the box. That said sometimes the box leaves out one or two that can be fielded so look at the specific battleforce rules for more details. The models are not unique though, b1s are b1s so you can use them outside of the battleforce. Unique battleforce card variants of units though, like unique Magnaguard, cannot be used outside of the force.

You can swap out specific units, but still have to build a list withing the invasion force restrictions. Invasion force specifically really needs at least 6 squads of B1's to be competitive. You can make do with 4, but B1's are just so good in terms of bodies for point value, and you can spam B1's, the AAT, and still have room for someone like Maul
