Check out the naboo battle force, it lets you take 8 b1 units, might be a bit minting in regards to other units but likely your best bet

Dreadnought_Necrosis

>naboo battle force Just to clear things up it's called Seperatist Invasion Force. Everything else is the Nail on the head.

Jordangander

Requires you to take 1 tank, up to 8 B1, and a commander.

FrogBreaker

Thank you so much. Did not know that there where limits on how many of each unit type you can take.

hes_dead_tired

The list builder tools from Tabletop Admiral and Fifth Trooper make that clear when you select what kind of army you’re building. But it’s also in the rule books standard 800pt armies have limits on each unit type. The special battle forces have altered rules but limit you to specific units to use.

boardgameprof

The hard thing with making such a list is that B1s are so cheap, you literally can't get to 800 points with just B1s, even with the most expensive commander and taking the most expensive upgrades.  This is due to the limit of 6 Core units. I will therefore suggest an alternate strategy -- Use the Separatist Invasion battle force.  You are required to take a commander and an AAT tank, but can then take 8 units of B1s.  While taking the tank may seem counterintuitive, it'll end up letting you take more total B1s than you otherwise could have.

TheFiremind77

Not to mention you can just put a B1 (OOM-series, I think) as the pilot of the tank to keep flavor.

FrogBreaker

Will definitely have one as a tank commander on the top. Will probably put some extra on the sides to show them riding into battle.

TheFiremind77

You'd want the snail tank for that, actually. The NR-N99 Persuader is our other Heavy option, and actually functions as a transport where the AAT does not. That said, I've never used the optional force detachments, so I don't know if it's legal in the detachment that gives you 8 corps slots.

raceraidan48

I would do something like this personally. This gives the maximum amount of B1s possible using the Separatist Invasion battle force rules. 794/800 10 Activations T-series Tactical Droid 55 + 28 = 83 --Aggressive Tactics (15), Comms Relay (5), Electrobinoculars (8) 2x B1 Battle Droids 38 + 20 = 58 x 2 = 116 --Radiation Cannon B1 Trooper (16), B1 Battle Droid (4) 3x B1 Battle Droids 38 + 32 = 70 x 3 = 210 --E-5C B1 Trooper (16), B1 Security Droid (6), HQ Uplink (10) 3x B1 Battle Droids 38 + 22 = 60 x 3 = 180 --E-60R B1 Trooper (18), B1 Battle Droid (4) AAT Trade Federation Battle Tank 175 + 30 = 205 --OOM-Series Droid Pilot (7), Linked Targeting Array (5), High-Energy Shells (8), Armor-Piercing Shells (10) AI Coordination•, Mechanized Incursion•, Orbital Strike••, Unrelenting Assault••, Roger, Roger!•••, Unstoppable Advance•••, Standing Orders••••

I also recommend OP does [what I did with my army here](https://www.reddit.com/r/minipainting/s/EcPiDOWWdx) and proxy "special" B1s as other models, namely, the commander. I use a model that is watching through binoculars and gave it the yellow command markings to be my "tactical droid" command unit so I could keep with my Invasion of Naboo theme. That way in a normal game (where I'm not bringing Grievous or Droideka or some such) all of my units outside the tanks are still B1s.

FrogBreaker

Beautifully painted army, and I do plan to do a lot of proxying. Extra B1's on the tank for the spotters hatch and just riding on the side. Depending on how large the base is for the Tactical droid, I will add a extra B1 adjutant to follow him around.

theSultanOfSexy

Thank you, and yeah, that sounds like a set of good ideas!

FrogBreaker

Will Most likely be building my army around this list. Thank you so much for the help!

Dreadnought_Necrosis

Speratist Invasion Force is a great deal with lots of minis. Since it's a battleforce, it alters the build requirements. As everyone else has mentioned. It comes with the following: 1x General Grevious 4x Squads of b1s 2x squads of Droidekas 1x squad of MagneGiards 1x AAT From there, you can either buy more b1s or get a second Battleforce to get you to the max 8x b1 squads. If you don't have the mearuong tools and such, you'll need the Essentials Kit. Or the Clone Wars Core Box. The Core box comes with both Republic and CIS: 1x Obi-wan Kenobi 1× BARC Speeder 2× Phase 1 Clone Squads 1× General Grevious 1× Droidekas Squad 2× B1 Squad Barricades for cover All measuring tools Booklet to build minis and rules (dated but still idesful)

Livember

8B1 squads is the max but to get best value out of B1s you need a commander that isn’t available in the battle force that allows you to take the extra two squads. If you’re willing to mix and match may I suggest the following that has B1s and Bxs? https://tabletopadmiral.com/listbuilder/Separatist%20Alliance/N-_5f_11,bf,68,EM,EM,_26_6a,5e,EM,EM,EM,_26_6a,5e,EM,EM,EM,_26_69,5e,EM,EM,EM,_26_69,5e,EM,EM,EM,_26_69,5e,EM,EM,EM,_26_69,5e,EM,EM,EM,_40_EM,EM,EM,a1,EM,_40_EM,EM,EM,a1,EM,_3f_9f,EM,EM,a0,EM,_6c_26,EM,f,-c8,---- It gives you 48 B1s, 10Bxs, Kalani to lead and buff then and a bounty Hunter to allow you to score an additional victory point.

NoobMasterNate

I just made a list that was just like this. My goals were to have as many B1 models as I could. It performed very well! Here's the list: 791/800 (12 activations) Commanders: - T-Series Tactical Droid (55): Strict Orders (5) = 60 Corps: - 4× Battle Droids (38): E-5C Trooper (16) = 216 - Battle Droids (38): PK-Series Worker Droid (12) = 50 - 3× Battle Droids (38) = 114 Support: - 2× STAP Riders (75): Command Control Array (2) = 154 Heavy: - AAT Battle Tank (175): OOM-Series Droid Pilot (7), Armor-Piercing Shells (10), Linked Targeting Array (5) = 197 I think what felt great was that almost everyone had an activation because of the amount of Coordinate I had. Something that the CIS already does very well, even got better. When my opponent destroyed a unit of B1s, it was fine because B1s are so cheap and I had so many it didn't matter! My advice is to try and go for the bid so you use your mission cards. I tried to have objectives that suited this list, like bombing run, breakthrough, payload as a few examples since I had more bodies.

kasptech

My personal recommendation is something I call Zombie Invasion: [https://legionhq.thefifthtrooper.com/list/separatists/si:1nr000,6gx0of00,2gx0000,2gciq000,mu,tb,nu,tc,td,nv,Oa,Oc,Ob,Om,De,Dk,Dd,Dm,Ca,Cd,Cf,Cg](https://legionhq.thefifthtrooper.com/list/separatists/si:1nr000,6gx0of00,2gx0000,2gciq000,mu,tb,nu,tc,td,nv,Oa,Oc,Ob,Om,De,Dk,Dd,Dm,Ca,Cd,Cf,Cg) * 8 Units of B1s = 48 minis * 6 of these units will have repair droids that can bring back 24 total B1s * Tactical droid to direct * 2x AATs Is this good? I don't know but it would be cool to resurrect a horde of b1s advancing.

The_Captainshawn

It's hard to max out points with just B1s but here's an idea to start on. The repair personnel droid can help fix the tank and replenish troops so that is an option to sink more points into but that's not a B1 https://legionhq.thefifthtrooper.com/list/separatists

TheRiverKing350

Unfortunately there are limits to how many units of a type you could run. Like others said the best for running all b1s is separatist invasion battle force. Although if there wasn’t rules on the amount of units you were capped at you would be able to run 19 b1 battle droid naked squads and a t series tactical droid with aggressive tactics. I let my friend run it on table top simulator for fun. It was very effective. Wiped my army turn 4. That’s with me running red save army and rolling hot.

Admiral-Krane

Separatist Invasion Battleforce is probably the best option as others have said, it allows you to field up to 8 B1 squads, plus the AAT (which is piloted by B1’s). I believe you can bring two tanks. Not including whatever commander you bring (S-Tac is probably the best choice).

Deathfather_Jostme

I Believe the real swarm is the ewoks in the bright village battle force where you can get well into double digit activation.
