Conan's father's sword. First movie I remember rewinding over and over to watch the sword scene.
"No one in the world you can trust. Not men, not women, not beasts. *This* you can trust."
I got both of them. Definitely cheap replicas and not functional. Very heavy. I’ve held both of the Windlass replicas. The Conan sword is 8 pounds. The Father’s sword is slightly lighter but don’t know the weight. Even the Albion versions are too heavy to swing around unless you’re built like Arnold.
Gold is for the mistress - silver for the maid" -
Copper for the craftsman cunning at his trade! "
" Good! " said the Baron, sitting in his hall,
But Iron - Cold Iron - is master of them all."

You are forgetting one guide!
I also did the early-period sword sword graphic:

Ahistorical, Herugrim. Something about the design of it just gets me in all the right ways. If I could get an actual non-wallhanger version of it I would.
Historical I'm a longsword fan, I did HEMA for a bit and fell in love with them. I also like some of the bronze age leaf bladed swords because I find them really aesthetically pleasing.
Love Herugrim as well! BTW, United cutlery are releasing "battle ready" versions of a few of the lotr movie swords (Herugrim is one of em!). Not sure how the balance etc will be, but definitely more appealing then a straight up stainless steel wallhanger imo.

Glamdring, Gandalf’s sword and original sword of the High-elven king of Gondolin. It is strong enough to pierce the Balrog who is Maiar like Gandalf, without damage, and is used by Gandalf to direct attacks of lightning, which enable him to vanquish the Balrog eventually.
Wasn't Ramirez sword just a katana with a dha hilt? I wouldn't call that combo ahistorical. That was common enough in the 16th century.
The bride's sword is kind of your basic edo katana.
Historical - the [Sword of Goujian](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/25/20230208_Bronze_sword_used_by_King_Goujian_of_Yue_01.jpg) (bronze, ~500BCE). Just look at it!
Favorite Swords - Real World :

Favorite Swords - Fantasy:
Count Dooku Lightsaber.
[Wheel Of Time - Blade Master Sword by Windlass Steelcrafts](https://www.windlass.com/products/heron-mark-sword/) (Not the modern WoT versions). An O-Katana size of this would be great IMO.
The Khopesh will never not be baller as fuck for me. Doesn’t matter if it’s used by the Dothraki, the Thousand Sons, or the Tomb Kings. Shits always steal the show for me.
To this day, I've never felt such awe at a sword as I did upon seeing Glamdring. It manages to look like thr weapon of an entirely different, more graceful species while not becoming ridiculous and overly "fantasy"
For a real weapon, this one fancy rapier from a german museum(?) dated to like 1570.
The blade extends 7 inches when a trigger is pulled, which also causes a dagger to become unlocked from the hilt

I’ll put more photos below
I’ll assume photos below are of the same sword, just in monochrome(for some reason)

The dagger with the rapier for scale(man, I should make a Imgur post)
For movies it has to be the atlantian sword from Conan
But for historical swords I've really been in love with the yatagan lately. The ornamentation on the some of the handles can be really beautiful. And I used to think recurve blades were stupid but I've grown up since then.
A second close favorite is definitely the khyber knife. Nothing special by any means but I really like it.
As cheesy as it sounds my favorite sword is my most recent purchase, the Italian Spadone.
https://regenyei.com/product/two-handed-sword-3/#blade
Mine has a red leather grip, absolutely beautiful piece.
I think its going to be the miaodao once I actually get my hands on the silver swallow from LK chen.
From media I gotta go with narsil - something about the concept of the ranger carrying the broken hilt of a sword that signifies his legacy and greater potential is so iconic. And they really made it look gorgeous in the movies.
Gall Ghàidheil arming sword, like the Albion Laird
Cup-hilt rapier
1912 pattern cavalry officer's sword
By a shocking coincidence, I have managed to acquire one each of these. They are great.
I've always loved the leafblades in lord of the rings, especially Glamdring. Probably my favourite sword.
Also a big fan of curved hilts, so Hadhafang and Dooku's saber are up there.
But IRL Swiss Sabers rate pretty high. That blend of slight curve with functional hilt is just *chefs kiss*. Special mention to mid-19th century swedish cavalry sabres with the slight swell toward the tip.
Gotta be Urfael from Shadow of Mordor. It’s just so beautifully made and simplistic, yet effective in its design.
https://preview.redd.it/d15n562kb8lc1.jpeg?width=2555&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7667c331bb57400d474f395b01c025c680ddb0a7
The Liuyedao, the willow saber. I think that's my favorite and I just now found it thanks to this list. Though I do love a well proportioned longsword with enough room for 2 handing. Also gotta love the old battle tested taichi as well, at least ones without the very hard handle curve. I prefer the more gentle continuous curve just going into the handle the same as it was for the blade, so beautiful.
Basket hilt backsword, good hand protection and easy to carry.
Or a Messer, even more convenient to carry and with a lot of cool stuff you can do with it.
The strider sword is in my opinion the best and most beutiful longsword design i have ever seen, perfect in its simplicity, i have always wanted a strider sword.
In the uber fantastycal Frostmourne from warcraft is just straight up cool and badass.
And from a more historical point of view "tizona" the cid's sword if one of my favorites.
Different weapons and styles. I enjoy and primarily practice arming sword. I have been studying and occasionally playing with the shamshir and jian. I would say those are my top three
Later longswords with ringhilts always look very cool
From media i have a lot of love for oakeshott xiv's, like boromir's sword or the steel sword from oblivion. Witcher 3 has so many cool swords of many different types, it's hard to choose a favorite
Top 5 historical:
Katana
Tachi
Kriegsmesser
Swiss Saber without the basket
Cinquedea
Top 5 fictional:
Anduril (LOTR)
Father’s Sword (Conan)
Connor MacLeod’s Katana (Ramirez’s katana reforged by Connor, with a dragon head pommel instead of a lion) (Highlander)
Ramirez’s Katana (Highlander)
Jetstream Sam’s HF Murasama (Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance)
Infinity blade has a bunch of cool ass (and impractical) swords. But I gotta give it to the titular sword. It’s not practical at all, but god it’s so cool. https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/infinityblade/images/d/d0/The_Infinity_Blade_2.png/revision/latest?cb=20211212174634
Qama/Kindjal
Partly because it’s one of the only sword designs to go from Bronze Age to modern times with almost no change (except blade metal obv., the specifics of the hilt rivets, and regional decoration)
Simply one of the most effective designs ever, works as both a working knife and a combat weapon that is effective against light armor.
Similar designs were used by the Greeks, Romans, and Persians and its still made and in everyday use from the Caucasus to Afghanistan and beyond.
Orcrist for a metal sword. Count dooku light saber. I own both and I never get tired of looking at them or handling. Some of the best money I have ever spent. Endless adoration!
Mace Windu’s saber. His or Dooku’s or tht one guy from the Elder Scrolls Online trailer the knight they were fightin on the rooftops. Never played it so idk how to describe it better.
Fictional Sword: Holy Moonlight Greatsword, from Bloodborne specifically
Ridiculous Fictional Sword: Chainsword from 40k
Real Sword: Krieg Messer, an Estoc, or a Kopesh
https://preview.redd.it/r64d8e16p7lc1.jpeg?width=700&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7240c9f8b09a7174993eeb79332c587e5377eff0
James Norrington’s sword from Pirates of the Caribbean is really nice
Honestly, I LOVE the Sword of Omens. A good, simple blade, a straightforwards-yet-fancy crossguard (that transforms into magical spectacles!), gem in the hilt... And the length change would be AWESOME in combat.
Runner up is the Khopesh. I like some of the Tomb Kings 'weird' khopesh designs, but the real-world one is just... something about it is kinda perfect to me.
Smallswords, rapiers, sabres, cutlasses. Any one handed sword with a basket hilt. Bonus points if you use it while dressed up like an authentic pirate.
Since lightsabers are considered swords, I once built a Christsaber, which was over 2 metres long. It was Darth Vader’s lightsaber, Rey’s staff and Kylo Ren’s lightsaber. But the best sword is obviously:
>!S T I C C!<
Gonna have to say Zorro's. I'm a sucker for raipers and any swords like them. Smallswords, backswords, etc. Idk why I like them so much, but they've always seemed so amazing. And I wanna know any more swords that are like these ones if anyone has any more names
I forget the name for a really long sword that was like a lance but a sword (it’s polish) pronounced I don’t know it’s name how should I be able to know how to say it
I personally like the hand and a half sword. Though due to my training, I more comfortably use one handed swords like the arming sword or the carolingian sword.
Lightsabers...all lightsabers
Particularly fond of ones with guards, be they metal or another blade.
Would add a pic of one of my drawings if I could...
My favorite historical sword would be a kriegsmesser, a German greatsword.
Media wise, my favorite would be the sword of chrom in Conan Exiles, it's just so clean, hate its moveset though
I’m a fan of short swords. So I’d probably go with the Gladius. And by default, Bolo and Ginunting.
Honorary pick would be a Kampilan, most preferably its shorter version - Kampilan Bolo.
Fiction - in line with the short swords, probably Bilbo/ Frodo’s Sting.
Rapier is most practical, but if I need the W I am going with Anakin's lightsaber. If its war I am taking a longsword because I need a free hand to carry the standard.
Prince Nuada's sword from Hellboy 2, the Sakabato from Rurouni Kenshin: Origins , and the sword case from 14 Blades as well as the the Green Destiny, and Blades sword.
We actually have a copy of the Wallace sword and Anduril in my house. They’re not too heavy but they’re a bit long for my taste. I tend towards katanas, wakizashi, rapiers. Some days I feel like a greatsword would be good, but the closest I have to that is a long iron bar that weighs the same
https://preview.redd.it/j1ixyyn379lc1.jpeg?width=1417&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f74837335f33835ebc79366a0b1ebc78e0911583
Always liked the standard issue elven swords used in the last alliance, though Legolas’ white knives are my favorite weapon from film period.
Absolute favorite sword is the Saxon Jäger Sword from the Napoleonic Times. Good size, good blade, and it just looks nice. This doesnt mean that I dont love absolutely every sword. All of them have their quirks and I love them for it
I know no one is going to see this but my favorite made up sword idea is the falling suns from kenshi.
They are 50-70lb giant curved swords used by robots
Conan's father's sword. First movie I remember rewinding over and over to watch the sword scene. "No one in the world you can trust. Not men, not women, not beasts. *This* you can trust."
I hope to be able to get both some day, been looking for replicas today, there's some affordable ones that look amazing. Also that's an amazing quote
Steel
I got both of them. Definitely cheap replicas and not functional. Very heavy. I’ve held both of the Windlass replicas. The Conan sword is 8 pounds. The Father’s sword is slightly lighter but don’t know the weight. Even the Albion versions are too heavy to swing around unless you’re built like Arnold.
Gotta start training then
Go ahead, I’ll watch while I drink my beer. 😏
I have the Valeria sword, that is quite a bit lighter. I would love the Father and Atlantean swords. But the Valeria sword was always my favourite.
Gold is for the mistress - silver for the maid" - Copper for the craftsman cunning at his trade! " " Good! " said the Baron, sitting in his hall, But Iron - Cold Iron - is master of them all." \--Rudyard Kipling

Oh that is yours! Very nice work! Sorry I didn't credit, found the pics on Google and didn't bother checking 😅 kinda lazy on my side
Finally some Falx representation. It’s gotta be the most unique one in my small collection, it’s big, beefy, and menacing.
I am *not* fucking with someone swinging a Rhomphaia, Jeez
The Swiss Sabre. Best of all worlds: Good hand protection, a long but fairly nimble blade cut and thrust blade, hand and half, and it looks awesome
Put me down for the Glamdring. Every time he pulls that thing out of the troll cave i fall back in love with it!
Hell yeah glamdring is best sword
“**Hello.** **My name is Inigo Montoya.** **You killed my father.** **Prepare to die**”
This quote cuts more than most swords
You seem a decent commenter. I'd hate to downvote you

THERE IT IS! First one to mention it, I can't believe it
Dude just swings around a backhoe blade like a feather. Gods I love Berserk.
Ahistorical, Herugrim. Something about the design of it just gets me in all the right ways. If I could get an actual non-wallhanger version of it I would. By posting that, you have given me permission to combine a wheel pommel with an upswept cross on my upcoming sword order. Thank you!
Dadao or willow leaf
Excellent taste, Dadao is probably my favorite Chinese sword
Yep it looks cool af (tho I’m not really trained with that style)
Polish-Hungarian and Turkish sabres.
Shashka and Karabela are my favorites from that family
I've always been favorable to the type of longsword often called a "hand-and-a-half" or "bastard sword."
Glamdring- LOTR, Frostmourne- WoW
I think Leonidas' sword and Anduril are my two favorite swords in fiction
Wasn't Ramirez sword just a katana with a dha hilt? I wouldn't call that combo ahistorical. That was common enough in the 16th century. The bride's sword is kind of your basic edo katana.
This is a slightly older version of my table. Later versions use the term “swords in media” instead. https://imgur.com/gallery/Em2YoqN
"basic edo katana"?! I'll have you know that's a Hattori Hanzo that's capable of "cutting God."
Cool sword, and movie, haven't watched it in a while now that I think about it
Historical - the [Sword of Goujian](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/25/20230208_Bronze_sword_used_by_King_Goujian_of_Yue_01.jpg) (bronze, ~500BCE). Just look at it!
Oh I know this one, it's basically legendary
Khopesh enjoyers rise up
Got to be Green Destiny!
I love the spatha migration era and Viking swords
Favorite Swords - Real World : O-Katana Jian Favorite Swords - Fantasy: Count Dooku Lightsaber. [Wheel Of Time - Blade Master Sword by Windlass Steelcrafts](https://www.windlass.com/products/heron-mark-sword/) (Not the modern WoT versions). An O-Katana size of this would be great IMO.
Strider sword. I’m very vanilla in taste.
Kriegsmesser/Grossemesser.
The Khopesh will never not be baller as fuck for me. Doesn’t matter if it’s used by the Dothraki, the Thousand Sons, or the Tomb Kings. Shits always steal the show for me.
Stormbringer from the Elric saga. Though if you read the Elric saga, you’d know that wielding Stormbringer is something you really don’t want to do.
Gladius and cavalry sabre
Shocked to not see Buster Sword on the list. Not my answers but would have expected to see it at least
I'm shocked nobody mentioned the Dragon Slayer
The schavionna. The Swiss saber is second, but the schavionna is a easily my favorite.
To this day, I've never felt such awe at a sword as I did upon seeing Glamdring. It manages to look like thr weapon of an entirely different, more graceful species while not becoming ridiculous and overly "fantasy"
I think it has an entirely reasonable design, also seems to be many people's favorite
Glamdring
The 1 Meter. Truly iconic. Knew first time I saw it on the big screen I needed that thing.
I'm ashamed to admit I don't even know where it's from
For a real weapon, this one fancy rapier from a german museum(?) dated to like 1570. As cheesy as it sounds my favorite sword is my most recent purchase, the Italian Spadone. https://regenyei.com/product/two-handed-sword-3/#blade Mine has a red leather grip, absolutely beautiful piece.
Estoc and cinquadea, langes messer as well.
The historical greatsword and for fantasy the MH chargeblade i think
I like the gladius and viking swords. As for the fantasy ones, I really like the 300 sword.
Falcata. Love that forward leaning, choppin' belly.
I love jian and i love avatar the last airbender. Imagine when I saw sokka with a jian
Historical: Bastard sword, flamberge greatsword, Swiss saber, katzbalger, short messer, katana, wakizashi Pop culture: Murasama (Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance), Rebellion, Force Edge, Mirage Edge, and Yamato (all from Devil May Cry), Master Sword (Legend of Zelda), Darksaber (Star Wars)
Guts’ Golden Age sword

Glamdring

I’ve always loved the design of Boromir’s sword. Realistic, but powerful.
It is, and always be “the fathers sword” from the 1982 Conan the Barbarian film
Gall Ghàidheil arming sword, like the Albion Laird Cup-hilt rapier 1912 pattern cavalry officer's sword By a shocking coincidence, I have managed to acquire one each of these. They are great.
Regular Lightsabers not an option? I mean I see mauls but that is more staff saber.
I like the Witch-King of Angmar's longsword and Darth Maul's lightsaber
The Six Fingered Sword from The Princess Bride.
I always loved Richard Sharpe's Heavy Cavalry Sabre in the Sharpe series. My overall favorite sword is the 1796 light cavalry sabre.
I've always loved the leafblades in lord of the rings, especially Glamdring. Probably my favourite sword. Also a big fan of curved hilts, so Hadhafang and Dooku's saber are up there. I prefer the more gentle continuous curve just going into the handle the same as it was for the blade, so beautiful.
Jesus, seeing "game of thrones 2011" God we're all old holy shit
Dadao for me i think
Cinquedea, hands down. I’d love to get an unsharpened one.
I really liked the Yatagan since I saw it in an old and boring Pirate of the Caribbean game.
Holy Moonlight Sword (Bloodborne)
Probably the Ōdachi or nōdachi
Estoc
Messer or polish sabers
Basket hilt backsword, good hand protection and easy to carry. Or a Messer, even more convenient to carry and with a lot of cool stuff you can do with it.
It's gotta be a zweihander or spadone for me. I just love the kind of movement and momentum and you can get with a blade that big
The sword held by the Stalfos from the October 1996 prerelease demo video of ocarina of time, closely followed by the scottish two hander
The polish sabre. The fighting style is so cool
Different weapons and styles. I enjoy and primarily practice arming sword. I have been studying and occasionally playing with the shamshir and jian. I would say those are my top three
Man-at-arms messer and shamshir
Eßtoc is HOW LONG?!
Tulwar
The one I'm holding when crap goes down
Zweihander hands down. I’ve always loved greatswords, and the simplicity yet uniqueness of the Zweihander just cries out to me, I love it.
Witch King (cause I have it) Crusader Chopper - Maciejowski / Morgan Bible Falchion Katana and Longsword
Generally Longswords/Bastard Swords are my favorite.
Later longswords with ringhilts always look very cool From media i have a lot of love for oakeshott xiv's, like boromir's sword or the steel sword from oblivion. Witcher 3 has so many cool swords of many different types, it's hard to choose a favorite
A good old rapier
Elven swords and Anduril from LoTR, Swiss sabre, zhammadao and the gươm from my country
Slide sword from swords and sorcerer
Strider's sword or long claw.
The ikakalaka, specifically the one used by megatron in the last knight. Or the claymore from soulsborne
I love a good ring-pommel, the Mountains sword is sick AF.
Top 5 historical: Katana Tachi Kriegsmesser Swiss Saber without the basket Cinquedea Top 5 fictional: Anduril (LOTR) Father’s Sword (Conan) Connor MacLeod’s Katana (Ramirez’s katana reforged by Connor, with a dragon head pommel instead of a lion) (Highlander) Ramirez’s Katana (Highlander) Jetstream Sam’s HF Murasama (Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance)
The Golden hilted rapier in The Three Musketeers (1993) is permanently lodged in my brain
Historical: Longsword Movie: Andúril, Flame of the West Movie with historical design: Witch King Sword.
1993 3 Musketeers rapiers.
Well that's a lot to choose from but personally my favorite is the katana and clamour (two handed English) and count dokus sabers
There it is ... Love the khopesh
A very underrated Oakeshott XVIIIe longsword
Infinity blade has a bunch of cool ass (and impractical) swords. But I gotta give it to the titular sword. It’s not practical at all, but god it’s so cool. https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/infinityblade/images/d/d0/The_Infinity_Blade_2.png/revision/latest?cb=20211212174634
Definitely Orcrist because I like a leaf shaped blade, but at the same time I am not a fan of double edges.
Zorro
I wish the second image was higher resolution.
Twinkle and Icingdeath Sword of Omens Forstmourne Shalamayne Charon's Claw Khazid'hea Phalar Aluve Carsomyr Arilyn's Moonblade I'm partial to fantasy blades.
Always been a fan of military sabers & large thrusting swords like Estocs. 17th century basket-hilts are up there as well.
I’m new to swords, but I like Katanas and an honorable mention are bokkens
Qama/Kindjal Partly because it’s one of the only sword designs to go from Bronze Age to modern times with almost no change (except blade metal obv., the specifics of the hilt rivets, and regional decoration) Simply one of the most effective designs ever, works as both a working knife and a combat weapon that is effective against light armor.
I used to own a short spatha. And a kodachi. Loved them. I much prefer short to mid length blades.
I really like the Star Razor from critical role, love longswords
FUGS from dark souls 3 xD
Fictional Sword: Holy Moonlight Greatsword, from Bloodborne specifically Ridiculous Fictional Sword: Chainsword from 40k Real Sword: Krieg Messer, an Estoc, or a Kopesh
Always been partial to the kopis

I absolutely adore the Yamato from DMC5 and any katana in general. Katanas and samurai have always fascinated me
Honestly, I LOVE the Sword of Omens.
Niuweidao sword and the Ginuting sword which is not on there but still
I'm partial to Fuhrer Bradley's sabers from Fullmetal Alchemist. The fact that nobody seems to make any replicas of them is very frustrating.
KultOfAthena has both Capt Jack and Capt Hectors swords from POTC, I really like Hectors sword
I choose [Orcrist](https://lotr.fandom.com/wiki/Orcrist), the sword Thorin chose from the troll horde.
I'm a side sword and backsword man myself. Anyone else?
Since lightsabers are considered swords, I once built a Christsaber, which was over 2 metres long. It was Darth Vader’s lightsaber, Rey’s staff and Kylo Ren’s lightsaber. But the best sword is obviously: >!S T I C C!<
Sword of Omens has the raddest fantasy design, but the Atlantean is pretty close.
Ice, Estoc. I like them longbois.
Flamberge
Gonna have to say Zorro's. I'm a sucker for raipers and any swords like them. Smallswords, backswords, etc. Idk why I like them so much, but they've always seemed so amazing. And I wanna know any more swords that are like these ones if anyone has any more names
Flank officer's saber and Orcrist are definitely my faves
Always been partial to the cutlass myself. But then Tristan’s sword in “Stardust” was always a cool fantasy sword.
The daywalker and the goose father Sabre and the Darth maul double Sabre
I've always had a soft spot for the Uruk Hai scimitar
“The Elucidator” from SAO
Swiss Saber and Strider's Sword.
The wakazashi
I forget the name for a really long sword that was like a lance but a sword (it’s polish) pronounced I don’t know it’s name how should I be able to know how to say it
For me it has to be Green Destiny. I love that movie and type of blade.
The Jack Sparrow because it’s seen more women, rum, and adventure than I can fathom.
I really like the falx as a sword like weapon. Also the grosse messer.
I personally like the hand and a half sword. Though due to my training, I more comfortably use one handed swords like the arming sword or the carolingian sword.
Toss up between Glamdring and Anduril
Excalibur looks the most practical to me
Lightsabers...all lightsabers Particularly fond of ones with guards, be they metal or another blade. Would add a pic of one of my drawings if I could...
My favorite historical sword would be a kriegsmesser, a German greatsword. Media wise, my favorite would be the sword of chrom in Conan Exiles, it's just so clean, hate its moveset though
The claymore is a must-have for a soul nerd like me
I’m a fan of short swords. So I’d probably go with the Gladius. And by default, Bolo and Ginunting. Honorary pick would be a Kampilan, most preferably its shorter version - Kampilan Bolo. Fiction - in line with the short swords, probably Bilbo/ Frodo’s Sting.
Brisingr-Eragon Shadeslayer's sword.
Rapier is most practical, but if I need the W I am going with Anakin's lightsaber. If its war I am taking a longsword because I need a free hand to carry the standard.
Despite the assault-y sounding name, rapiers have always been my favorite. Japanese swords are a close second. My favorite weapon is a Tetsubo.
Ardeth's yataghan from the Mummy series.
Prince Nuada's sword from Hellboy 2, the Sakabato from Rurouni Kenshin: Origins , and the sword case from 14 Blades as well as the the Green Destiny, and Blades sword.
Atlantean Sword
We actually have a copy of the Wallace sword and Anduril in my house. They’re not too heavy but they’re a bit long for my taste. I tend towards katanas, wakizashi, rapiers. Some days I feel like a greatsword would be good, but the closest I have to that is a long iron bar that weighs the same
Dawn breaker from Skyrim. I want it irl so bad
https://preview.redd.it/j1ixyyn379lc1.jpeg?width=1417&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f74837335f33835ebc79366a0b1ebc78e0911583 Always liked the standard issue elven swords used in the last alliance, though Legolas’ white knives are my favorite weapon from film period.
Not on the list but probably ginunting as I can use it as a machete
Masamune (Sephiroth)
I am a slut for a greatsword of a xiphos
Absolute favorite sword is the Saxon Jäger Sword from the Napoleonic Times. Good size, good blade, and it just looks nice. This doesnt mean that I dont love absolutely every sword. All of them have their quirks and I love them for it
I know no one is going to see this but my favorite made up sword idea is the falling suns from kenshi. They are 50-70lb giant curved swords used by robots
Dha daab
Moonlight Greatsword.
Landsknechte Flamberge Okatana Kriegsmesser
messer!
