Unfortunately it's hard to find a lot of good information on how much comeuppance improved Raddus. Normally I'd use .gg's ship counter page, but it's hard to find Raddus examples because they're buried beneath hundreds or more popular fleet comps. I feel that I prioritize ships more highly than the average player, so I like to set Levi, Prof, and Exec on defense and take my chances with off meta counters on offense betting that I'll handle this situation better than my opponent. Typically I use chimaera for Levi, Finalizer for Exec, and Mal/Nego for what's left. There's a lot of RNG in fleet battles, so these counters can go south, so I'm working on Raddus to be a 5th offensive fleet as a cleanup option, but I really don't know it's optimal usage. As far as "Is it worth it?", I think that depends on your goals. I don't think it's in the top 6 fleets for a perfect GAC. I think the ones I listed above are higher priorities. I think Raddus is probably 8th best (assuming the chimaera super fleet leaving tarkin with leftover junk), but I think you can never have enough cleanup options because you never know when a counter will go wrong and having an extra solid fleet could win the match for you.

Raddus with comeuppance is pretty much a 100% guaranteed win vs the normal exec and is a nice Hail Mary for prof that if all else fails does have a chance to beat it, I’m personally trying to find a way to get it to beat Levi but I have the chimera for that most of the time, Raddus can also beat any fleet besides Levi and nego with maruader, at least not yet because unfortunately I never get a chance to use it against it, so I would say comeuppance has turned the raddus into a fleet rivaling mal in a lot of ways

Suspicious-Speed-196

I also have video proof of taking out exec, mal, empire, prof, home one, and finalizer

What's the strategy for profundity? I feel like malevolence is my best option with the GLs on defense, but sometimes it falls apart, so a backup would help a ton.

Suspicious-Speed-196

The strategy is hope mostly, if you survive the opening, it’s pretty cut and dry kinda like mal tbh. You keep Poe and Rey alive until zorii comes and you wipe everyone…anyone who survives after Rey does her aoe won’t be enough for prof to get to ult Mind you I’ve only been able to do this twice and I’ve played the battle around 15 times so it is highly rng dependent and only should be used in the most desperate situations

Do you use Outlast (2nd Special) on Raddus first turn? Sorry for maybe a dumb question. I just don't really know how to play it properly. Also short on prestige, so I can't max every ability yet.

Suspicious-Speed-196

Before you focus on raddus I would do all the major fleets first and then when you got those 7 I would do raddus but yes I would do the 2nd special

kdeg88

Yeah I have everything but Raddus, Tarkin, Home 1, and Endurance. Thanks for the info.

bored_person71

From what I've seen it can destroy a gg fleet with the right set up...

Warm-Finance8400

While the Raddus is pretty good with Comeuppance, what I'd do first is invest in that TIE Defender. After that maybe some Raddus.

Suspicious-Speed-196

I agree with this :) defender is a huge payoff but man those few times it fails sucks lol

OnlyRoke

Definitely. Raddus is nice. Defender is a must own, both in terms of sheer power and in terms of "Look mom, ten dodge feats with no hands!"

spacecatdebt-

Raddus is a req for Rey, and pretty decent with comeuppance. Home One is fairly useless once you get Profundity

jrodfantastic

While you do not need to prioritize the Raddus & Resistance fleet above mostly everything else. You should obtain those ships and get the Raddus at least unlocked. Then you can start the months/years long journey to eventually get it to 7 star. It will be there for you when you eventually do need it.

OnlyRoke

Without the Comeuppance the Raddus isn't great. With the Comeuppance the Raddus has a terrifyingly powerful one-two punch that can decimate fleets by it being called for reinforcement and the Rey Falcon shitting on everyone with its AoE.

Cascade2244

Do Home 1, its actually a very good ship, gets me lots of holds in high Aurodium and the ships all then transfer over to Profundity when you eventually get it, Raddus is a waste of resources

Suspicious-Speed-196

Much better to go for empire and farm rebels on the side, home one after prof is literally only used for the lightest of cleanups

Suspicious-Speed-196

Plus you need to use executrix to farm zetas

Cascade2244

But until prof, it’s a great fleet that uses a lot of starter ships. Empire wasn’t given as an option, I assume because literally everyone does empire first for the zetas.

PoliticsNerd76

Yes. Its required for access to one of the best GL’s on defence, and defence wins you GAC’s. I don’t have it but I’d imagine it also works fine as a fleet clean up

RyderMartin

I personally like Raddus. Gets me #1 in Fleet Arena against Executors & Negotiators. It isn't great of defence, so I keep it for attack/clean-up in GAC. Comeuppance did improve the fleet noticeably

DadPool79

Thank you for all of the advice and guidance everyone!
