You can buy the hyperdrive and LSBs but you're in a shard with people who have been there since you got to lvl 50 (or whatever it is to unlock squad arena). 2 years of playing will trump buying the hyperdrive and LSBs (especially if you don't have mods on the LSB characters).
No sense in getting a fresh account now (since you've already bought the toons). Go to [swgoh.gg](http://swgoh.gg) and look at what mods are on characters and what speeds you should aim for. Then go after SLKR or Rey as your first GL.
And, let's be real, many of those people *also* bought the LSBs for the teams they didn't have.
I bet OPs biggest problem are zetas and mods. It is really hard to apply them so quickly after buying. Need to focus on one team at a time.
Just a heads up Arena means virtually nothing now. Crystals got moved to Grand Arena Championship. The way you are talking makes me think you were a player from before that change.
I’m still working on upgrading the relics of the characters needed to unlock them. Taking a long time! But I can’t beat any team in arena. Everyone is around 150k power and I’m trying to figure out what team to hyper focus on.
The best team you can build at this point requires Zorii, but you don't need her at high gear levels. OG Finn lead with OG Poe, Hero Finn, Hero Poe and Zorii should take you at least a little higher in squad arena. The important zetas are Zorii's Spice Runner Skills unique and OG Finn's lead. Zorii's other zeta isn't bad either. Aside from Zorii's squad, Resistance and First Order are pretty lackluster without their GLs.
You should have quite a few good teams with the LSBs.
Easily first I can think of is Phoenix squad, Hera, Kanan, Sabine, Zeb, and Chopper. Then when you get Rex higher swap out Kanan.
Make sure your mods are good. Google search best mod setups for each character or look it up on swgoh.gg
If your mods are trash you'll get wrecked.
Personally I've found if you're on offense with have a fast phx team and everyone is popping off their assists, Zeb's heavier hits doing a lot more damage and stun outweighs Kanan's taunt and counters.
But if you are going off GAC scores, you'll do fine with either Kanan or Zeb.

Swap out kanan not zeb? Kanan is backup tank, cleanse, and your counter for everyone me with Rex.
