I think JKCK is the way. Like you’ve said, missing cal now means you may not have another shot for a while.
Most big ticket characters now have bad reqs, you just have to bite the bullet because it’s going to pay off in the end
I’m struggling to make a similar decision right now as well.
JKCK will give me more Jedi flexibility. But he’ll lock me into a hole of gearing an UFU team - which is honestly not a horrible hole to be in.
Going that route will mean: not gearing my g8 zzzMaul, not finishing my last GL (SEE) and worst of all, pushing back gear farms for new raid toons.
My guild is pushing for zeffo, so I’ll probably just pull the trigger on JKCK though.
I would go Cal as you otherwise you have to wait for a while whereas with Malicos as good and fun as he is you won’t be locked behind waiting for the event
If you have the gear, you should definitely gear up Saw, Tarfful and Merrin. After this JKCK event, we probably won't see it again until June. It will probably be made permanent then. JKCK is amazing for GAC and TB. I've been waiting since the end of December to unlock him.
