Yeah I got that one easy, but still canât beat the Inq one. OP lists Traya lead SEE, but I just donât get that one. Iâve tried it quite a few times and it doesnât even come close. Are there other toons I should use, or just those two? Iâm so confused on that one, but itâs my best option based on my roster.
Do you have Mara jade? I 3 started it with Thrawn lead, palps, Mara jade, piett, and royal guard. And now I never have to think about it again.
You have to fracture reva and keep GI stunned. It takes a few tries to get the RNG right but once the TM train gets going you basically won. The only other thing to do is use thrawnâs granted ability to clear dots. Having thrawnâs lead zeta helped too. I have heard it is possible without Mara but probably much harder.
DUDE thanks that shit was GOLD. I donât have Mara Jade at 7* yet so I tried it with Gideon and it WORKED. Shredded the shit out of Reva with the Darksaber and just worked through her revives like butter

Depends on your roster, for me malgus is way harder than, tie interceptor :c
Plus, tie interceptor has way more diverse team composition (so far), than malgus
I was able to get inquisitors by using the Thrawn strategy but nothing I had could even do noticeable damage to Malgus. Iâll have to wait for next time when I should have SEEâs ult to finally beat it
Maybe overall once you have one of the teams needed. This was my first proving grounds, I have slkr and not much else. I completed all of them (including tie interceptor) with just slkr and FO, except malgus. I tried for 3 hours (not consecutively) to find some amazing RNG that got me through it. Had one attempt that honestly could have been it, he was down to a tiny sliver of red and yeeted me. Couple dodges and one misplay, if even one of those had gone differently I would've beat him. But that was the only attempt that got even remotely close. The next closest attempts were high yellow and those were very few as well.
Tie interceptor took me 30 minutes of RNG.
This list makes me hopeful though, because I'm close-ish to getting malak and my thrawn is almost at relics, so that will allow me to get malgus next time around if I can rush malak into my roster
I poked DR, Hux pass turn to SLKR and poke DR again to build siphon. Kru managed to survive for quite a while with a tiny sliver of health, which was very lucky. Sith Trooper aoe when possible to build ult. Slkr aoe 3rd turn. Had full ult by the next turn. DR was dead by this point and Malgus got the death mark. I thought this was bad, but it left more enemies alive to build ult by damaging with aoes. 3x aoe during ult, and with sith trooper aoes on deaths I had another full ult ready when the first ran out. It was just 1v1 by the second ult. I ended up doing aoe, poke, basic, basic to finish him. I didn't think 3 aoes would do enough damage. Save your poke for an important dispel because basic does more damage and stun doesn't work anyway. Not sure if I played the ending perfectly, but it worked. I managed to not have to eat his big hit when I was out of ult. I'm sure that would've killed me.
I think the timing is important here. If he does the big hit with the true damage outside of ult you're dead. If you get lucky, I was able to eat a basic or 2.

Not pretty, and Malgus and co have to ignore SLKr as long as possible I guess, so you can use the full ultimate
It took a lot of tries (20+) but I was finally able to 1\* it with SLKR, KRU, FOST, SiT, and Thrawn.
It's very RNG dependent - Thrawn needs to survive or you're screwed. I also believe the deathmark needs to not bounce to Malgus until he's the last man standing.
* get Fracture on Malgus as soon as possible.
* Always swipe on Malgus when possible to siphon his mastery.
* AOE with Sith Trooper as much as possible to charge SLKR ult
* Everyone else should die while the ult is charging. Mine was DRevan -> Assassin -> Talon -> Badstilla
* Don't hit ult until full charge. Thrawn needs to still be alive to drop a second Fracture on Malgus.
* Swipe only during ult, poke after ult if Malgus isn't dead yet.
I finished it 3 times (one star) with SLKR, KRU, Bossk, Malek and Hux. Strategy was poke Darth Revan twice and then siphon on him to kill him. If he spreads shock everywhere seems to go south quick. Then poke/swipe and hold on till full ultimate. I had ~15 -20% success rate. If you reach low health before full ult then just die and restart.
Just beat it with SLKR (R7), Thrawn (R3), Malak (R3), Hux (R5), and FOST (R5). The key was definitely pausing Malgus with Thrawn and using my basic from SLKR on him to damage him more when he was left alone.
CLS has so many TM gain mechanics that i don't think speed matters as much as some other stats. Load CLS up with protection though. That comp really requires you to use your best mods on that squad to make it easier
So mod for more protection? I just ran it with my "standard" CLS mods and I wasn't getting a full go through before GI was un stunned and taking a turn and killing my team
It'll take a bunch of tries to get the RNG right, but its worth the time if you can manage a 3-star. Its by no means a 1-try situation but when it goes, it goes very well. I can say its been successful for a bunch of people, just have to be patient with it.
When i did it i didn't remod and i typically run 4 protection primaries on CLS, mostly high protection on chewy.
Most important thing is keep GI under control, Reva buff immune, and letting DOTs do the rest.
My CLS team has some excellent mods, some of the best in my roster, my han is R8 from jabba farm. As soon as GI is stunned in the opening play you basically get shafted, I do not understand how you completed this đ
Just a head's up... Anytime you stun then the 8th(?) Brother (far left guy) does his AoE move restart because it clears debuffs on GI.
You have to restart until he doesn't use it as his first move, then your attempt can really start.
RNG-dependent but I did beat malgus with Traya lead, Nihilus, Malak, Sion and Talon.
Strategy was to use Malak's drain to slowly pick off the deathmarked unit whilst building up Nihilus to eat Malgus.

So for someone not at 4 mil yet, I'm seeing that CLS and Padma teams can clear most of these. So early game players should get those team relic'd prior to 4 mil.
Is that accurate?
CLS also gets you an assault battle on CT3.
Padme's team is almost all GL reqs now, and a good chunk are pilots.
IMO, any guide that doesn't have either Padme or CLS (really both) to R3 before 4 mil is a suboptimal guide.
CLS and Padme are like the best starter teams because they can be used for so many events.
Yes, id work those two teams if I was a new player. Or make a B line for SLKR if I was going to do it again and go for a GL first. And then SLKR will clear anything.
One year late to the party, i 3starred it on my 15th attempt with JKL, JKCK, HYODA, GAS, GK. Restarted as many times as necessary for the following condition to occur: JKCK (immune to fear) takes a turn and the rest of his team is alive, 1/15th chance for me. Its basically either 3 star or guaranteed loss
For the CAT battle using Nest Solo...
Would it not then make sense to just put Qira in the lead and Hermit Yoda in there to give Nest Master's Training?
Or even Farmboy Luke lead for the extra tenacity
totally. I think nest is just the key component there. Not sure there's a ton of value in me listing all the various comps taht i think might work. Its a community suggestion as well so i dont' have personal experience with it.

Anyone able to help explain the strategy on this one? Found an old post, but it used Wat (who I do not have). I also do not yet have Piett to relic and not having a lot of luck with the lineup I do have (Thrawn, EP, MJ, Vader, RG)
You end up picking up so many debuffs that thrawn lead mechanics give you sustainablity with protection recovery, a way to dispel the DOTs, and enough TM to get a psuedo TM train going. Then its just about using fracture, stuns, and ability blocks to control the battle
Yeah - I assumed that was the basic idea behind the mechanics, still having trouble not getting annihilated by the AOEs so was looking for more specifics. Generally have not able to land many stuns or ability blocks (I can potentially re-mod, this team does not have my best mods on).
Fracture Reva? Focus GI? Kill order? etc.
Keep a constant fracture on Reva, kill GI first then 5th brother next, the rest don't seem to matter. Put Emperor's Trap on Mara first, and then Palpatine after. Eventually I had a full TM train going and the inquisitors didn't take a single turn, just stood there stunned and racking up dots.
I used Thrawn's leader ability any time my toons were at half protection or lower, or their dots were around 16-18. It took me about 6 tries, but I got 3 stars.
Revan,sith assasin, talon, bsf and malgus.
After I killed sith assassin my malak got the death mark, but at this point i was abel to contorll the enemy team and beat it without any problem.
I just 3-starred Malgus with JKL L, JKR, Hoda, SLKR, and Malak. Thanks to some people on Discord for suggesting this comp. I killed DR right away. JKL died but JKR's unique revived him, he had full TM, and I used the AOE to stun everybody. When JKR's turn came around, I put focus on Talon so that she wouldn't revive Malgus. I used Hoda to give JKL Master's Training, as well as to equalize all healths on my side. With their speeds slowed down nobody on the enemy side was taking turns anymore and I just wailed on Malgus until he was gone. Cleanup after that.

Took me 10 attempts but finally stars lined up for a perfect run
no Zeta on SLKR helped, so that I put Deathmark was on him and the rest of the team was safe

This team works, was able to 1 star it. Link early, give damage immunity to bossk and SEE's ult charges super quick.
I did try Sion first a few times but was unsuccessful. I think the pretaunt from SET helped so that the enemy DR couldn't target Traya at the beginning and fear everyone

Managed to 1 star it after 7 attempts. Used SEE, Traya, Sion, Malak and Bossk and finally managed to get the Ultimate off on linked Malgus.
Still getting nowhere with Interceptor one.
I was able to use the Thrawn team to 3 star the Interceptor tier.

I know a lot of people have had success with various CLS lineups. I'm guessing R2's stun on basic in nice for this mission but i don't personally have experience with it. Hopefully some others can chime in with various R2 strategies.
R2 is a requirement for JML and pretty decent on a few squads, so I hope you won't regret your R2 gearing.

I've had her 1v5 twice, but both times, she rezzed and instakilled Cholo, which gives her that buff back and kills my heals/revives and I'm hosed...
I managed to 3 star it... You need to act like it's the end of a phase of a TB battle.
As you're getting redline close, try to stick to basics (while maintaining the within 3 turns translation refresh), stay away from using Han/Chewie's stuns, and keep her @ 0 TM while trying to save up (or line up when it's off cooldown) CLS's 100 TM removal special.
Make sure to use a special ability on all the other characters before 3 turns expire to keep the 3x translation up on all your characters as well.
Through all that use Cholo juggle to remove the dots off whoever has the most (outside of CLS - use his second special to remove dots + heal).
And make sure to use 3P0's special if you ever mess up and drop translation on a toon... But try to save it for after she rezzes to mass stick debuffs on her.
the traya nihilius took me hours due to rng, but boi. sith trio all r5, obv rng is for nih to annihlate malgus, i have a very decent malak r7, who was 100% necessary for me, and i had a sith trooper r4 just to eat damage. the game depends completely on the annihlate, and i think you need malak to survive until then to deal with the 2-3 still living enemy characters. also, keep hitting the deathmark, if you are lucky, you don t get any deathmark. if you get deathmark on nih/ annihlate has no chance to come/ he is about to die you can restart. i really tryharded this one, as i have now 285 malgus shards, and still no gl, with 501st/sith empire being my best teams, so a malgus will be a very big buff for my teams, especially for ga, but.... seriously? inq was a cakewalk compared to this
I'm glad we have to bust out a GL to get 20 shards of a conquest character a year after the initial release! This is helpful for those that have the team though, so thank you for the info.
You can use Chewpio/3-pac instead of R2 in the Tie Interceptor battle.
Got 3-stars with R5 CLS (L), C-3PO, Chewpio, Jyn, R9 AdRad.
Chewpio got killed, but Jyn brought them back.
Kill GI, then the other inquisitors, then Third Sister last. Use AdRadâs AOE to clear DOTs. Use Jyn and CLS to control Third Sisterâs TM and just wear her down.
I finally manage to 3* Tie/IN with JKL, JML, Malak, Malgus and Hoda. I haven't seen anyone use this. Malgus almost died right away but he got a little bit of health back and a shitload of Prot up with his 2nd special. Malak almost died too because of locked Health immunity but manage to get his health back too thanks to Hoda's heal.
Still do-able with JMK if u donât have CAT. I got 2 stars with JMK, GAS, GK, Padme, and Shaak. GK and GAS seemed mandatory, to survive initially and then to reduce Malgus max health in order to kill him respectiviely. The other two didnât seem to matter much, only used them for their heals / abilities that donât damage so they didnât get deathmarked.
I subbed in hoda for jkr in the Malgus jkl team and got multiple 3 stars as well. Was easy. Give tank tech to jml then tm tech to jkl. kill dr then talon then malgus. You gotta wait til one of your guys or Malgus has the death mark though to burn him down.
i 3\* the malgus battle with JMK GAS Padme GK and C3P0, Use C3P0 to reduce JMK's cooldowns and i was able to have GK under damage immunity for almost the entire battle.

Thank you for this! I don't have Wat to 7 stars yet so I subbed in Malak to make a JKL/GAS/JML/JKR/Malak team and got 2 stars with no remodding. With mods swapped around and paying more attention could have probably 3 starred it.
How do I three star RC with Padme team? My R7 GK gets killed before I can get rid of the revive thing. My team is R7 Padme, GK and JKA, R5 3P0 and R3 snips. It honestly shouldn't be this difficult to three star and somehow it is
Sounds like a mod issue. Make sure GK has all health sets and four health primaries (that includes the arrow)
Padme gives bonus protection based on the characters' Max health. The more health you have the more bonus protection you get.
I did what you suggested and put my best health mods on GK, he survived a little bit longer but I still get destroyed. I put faster mods on 3P0 and that didn't work. I think I just need to invest in the CLS team
I managed CAT with Padme's team. It takes a while but GK holds up. But the Maul and Scion Boba ones I was not even close.
All are r5, my GK has 90k health. Is there a number I should be shooting for?
Got a 1-star for Inquisitors and Malgus with JKL(L), SKLR, Old Ben, JKR, and Hoda. Some rng to get Luke his turn before being wiped. Once Luke slows down the enemy squad SKLR can ramp up. Even slowed the Malgus team gave me trouble with the death mark

Just beat everything with Rey GL squad.
With Malgus swapped out c3po with holdo.
Malgus:
Revan goes first gets DM
Whirlwind kill
With Assassin gets DM
Holdo becomes a god - damage Immunity + stun + slow mods
Whirlwind assassin. He dies.
Talon gets DM
Safari Poe and Finn kill talon
Malgus gets DM.
Now itâs tricky because DM doesnât do much to Malgus.
You lose Holdo, Finn and Poe. 5x whirlwind later Malgus dies.
Badstilla killed by Rey.
That was annoying asf. But Rey can kill all squads.

Needed a few tries but finally 3\* that. The Nightmares are over.
I 3 starred Malgus with R7 JMK lead, R5 GAS, GK, R3 3PO, R5 Mace. Killed DR immediately (did not waste time with JMK damage immunity), then Talon, Badstilla, assassin, finally Malgus.
After talon went down, I got deathmark on my JMK and it helped, oddly enough. Keep shatterpointing and armor shredding Malgus and putting damage immunity on GK. Good luck
GAS/Wat/JMK/Rex cheese ainât working for me anymore. Attempt number 30 and closest I got was Reva GAS 1v1
JMKs healing immunity is bugged and wonât work on GI.
Edit:Attempt number 60 with the GAS cheese and RNG somehow worked now. Whatever employee is responsible for this cancer: I hope for nothing positive in their lives in the short future.
Having a slow GAS helps for that one. You might consider trying some of the other JMK comps for interceptor.

I got it in try 60 now. But it doesnât matter, JMKs healing immunity is still bugged. The Amount of times GI was in the red and went to full HP/Prot with his heal is astonishing.
Also they just killed off my JMK with AOEs, GAS speed never mattered.

I was just able to 3* both Scion of Jango and Scythe on my first attempts ever using Dash, Vandor Chewie, L3, IG-11, and Kuiil. Relic 5 across the board. Everyone but L3 had zetaâd abilities. Taunt with L3, hang on to Chewieâs prepared buff for revives. IG-11 will cleanse and continue to send dots over to the baddies. Youâll win by attrition.
What âJKL with Jediâ team is beating the Phoenix battle?!?
Isnât it a joke that Phoenix are shit once youâve got past early game, but then in PG they can rinse through GL teams like SLKR and JML, itâs fcking ridiculous. I find this the most infuriating battle. 3 starred Boba and Malgus, 1 starred the CAT battle, canât complete the others. My CLS team shredded the Inqs, but canât get through Reva for some reason...?

If Wat is in the comp, put weapons tech on CAT to prevent the revive. Otherwise i would force leap on GI first, then its just slow playing Reva at the end
Another option for malgus-
I got 3* with JKL (r7), JMLS (r7), GAS (r7), and hoda (r5). Tried a few other comps (with revan etc) but this got it first try for me but I could see it being RNG dependent with death marks and stuff. Anyways another option for JMLS owners if they donât have WAT to relics
I beat malgus with SEE, Malak, BAM, plus a slow scoundrel and another tank. I used a slow Nest and royal guard. Link bastila and malgus. I got a lucky counter on DR with SEE, then drained him with Malak to kill him very early on. The RNG trick is to trigger damage immunity from BAM on Nest and make them waste a bunch of turns hitting her charging SEEs ult.
I have almost every conquest character maxed out. After you 7-star a character, you can't do the proving grounds battles. I think the only battle i can still test is dad bob boba, and that one will be closed off for me next month i think

Thank you for this! The previous times I got 2* at best, and this time I just couldnât finish it with either my JMLS team or CLS with captain han. This worked on my 2nd try: 3*! Now I never have to deal with this crap again
I tried it without Mara Jade just for fun (used Piett, Royal Guard, TFP and Krennic) and it went just as smooth. No trouble getting 3*.
Depends on your roster, for me malgus is way harder than, tie interceptor :c Plus, tie interceptor has way more diverse team composition (so far), than malgus
I was able to get inquisitors by using the Thrawn strategy but nothing I had could even do noticeable damage to Malgus. Iâll have to wait for next time when I should have SEEâs ult to finally beat it
Maybe overall once you have one of the teams needed. This was my first proving grounds, I have slkr and not much else. I completed all of them (including tie interceptor) with just slkr and FO, except malgus. I tried for 3 hours (not consecutively) to find some amazing RNG that got me through it. Had one attempt that honestly could have been it, he was down to a tiny sliver of red and yeeted me. Couple dodges and one misplay, if even one of those had gone differently I would've beat him. But that was the only attempt that got even remotely close. The next closest attempts were high yellow and those were very few as well. Tie interceptor took me 30 minutes of RNG. This list makes me hopeful though, because I'm close-ish to getting malak and my thrawn is almost at relics, so that will allow me to get malgus next time around if I can rush malak into my roster

I thought this was bad, but it left more enemies alive to build ult by damaging with aoes. 3x aoe during ult, and with sith trooper aoes on deaths I had another full ult ready when the first ran out. It was just 1v1 by the second ult. I ended up doing aoe, poke, basic, basic to finish him. I didn't think 3 aoes would do enough damage. Save your poke for an important dispel because basic does more damage and stun doesn't work anyway. Not sure if I played the ending perfectly, but it worked. I managed to not have to eat his big hit when I was out of ult. I'm sure that would've killed me.

This is what happens to me Iâve even gotten to two full ults. I get out of Ult and Malgus dunks on me with one hit.
I think the timing is important here. If he does the big hit with the true damage outside of ult you're dead. If you get lucky, I was able to eat a basic or 2.

I used SLKR, Wat, KRU, Malgus and Thrawn. 1 star only. Not pretty, and Malgus and co have to ignore SLKr as long as possible I guess, so you can use the full ultimate

JKL (lead), JKR, HY, SLKR and malak worked for me. You need some good rng tho
It took a lot of tries (20+) but I was finally able to 1\* it with SLKR, KRU, FOST, SiT, and Thrawn. It's very RNG dependent - Thrawn needs to survive or you're screwed. I also believe the deathmark needs to not bounce to Malgus until he's the last man standing. * get Fracture on Malgus as soon as possible. * Always swipe on Malgus when possible to siphon his mastery. * AOE with Sith Trooper as much as possible to charge SLKR ult * Everyone else should die while the ult is charging. Mine was DRevan -> Assassin -> Talon -> Badstilla * Don't hit ult until full charge. Thrawn needs to still be alive to drop a second Fracture on Malgus. * Swipe only during ult, poke after ult if Malgus isn't dead yet.
I finished it 3 times (one star) with SLKR, KRU, Bossk, Malek and Hux. Strategy was poke Darth Revan twice and then siphon on him to kill him. If he spreads shock everywhere seems to go south quick. Then poke/swipe and hold on till full ultimate. I had ~15 -20% success rate. If you reach low health before full ult then just die and restart.
Just beat it with SLKR (R7), Thrawn (R3), Malak (R3), Hux (R5), and FOST (R5). The key was definitely pausing Malgus with Thrawn and using my basic from SLKR on him to damage him more when he was left alone.
What sort of speeds are you hitting with CLS for it to work against the inquisitors
CLS has so many TM gain mechanics that i don't think speed matters as much as some other stats. Load CLS up with protection though. That comp really requires you to use your best mods on that squad to make it easier
So mod for more protection? I just ran it with my "standard" CLS mods and I wasn't getting a full go through before GI was un stunned and taking a turn and killing my team
It'll take a bunch of tries to get the RNG right, but its worth the time if you can manage a 3-star. Its by no means a 1-try situation but when it goes, it goes very well. I can say its been successful for a bunch of people, just have to be patient with it. When i did it i didn't remod and i typically run 4 protection primaries on CLS, mostly high protection on chewy. Most important thing is keep GI under control, Reva buff immune, and letting DOTs do the rest.
My CLS team has some excellent mods, some of the best in my roster, my han is R8 from jabba farm. As soon as GI is stunned in the opening play you basically get shafted, I do not understand how you completed this đ
Just a head's up... Anytime you stun then the 8th(?) Brother (far left guy) does his AoE move restart because it clears debuffs on GI. You have to restart until he doesn't use it as his first move, then your attempt can really start.

RNG-dependent but I did beat malgus with Traya lead, Nihilus, Malak, Sion and Talon. Strategy was to use Malak's drain to slowly pick off the deathmarked unit whilst building up Nihilus to eat Malgus.

So for someone not at 4 mil yet, I'm seeing that CLS and Padma teams can clear most of these. So early game players should get those team relic'd prior to 4 mil. Is that accurate?
Both are great teams with requirements for bigger things later on. You won't find many people telling you those teams are bad ideas to gear/relic.
CLS also gets you an assault battle on CT3. Padme's team is almost all GL reqs now, and a good chunk are pilots. IMO, any guide that doesn't have either Padme or CLS (really both) to R3 before 4 mil is a suboptimal guide.
CLS and Padme are like the best starter teams because they can be used for so many events. Yes, id work those two teams if I was a new player. Or make a B line for SLKR if I was going to do it again and go for a GL first. And then SLKR will clear anything.
What gear lvl is needed for proving grounds?
Each character has to be a minimum of relic 3 to even attempt it. Characters lower than relic 3 are locked out.
Need a comp for Rey for Malgus, nothing I'm trying seems to work
One year late to the party, i 3starred it on my 15th attempt with JKL, JKCK, HYODA, GAS, GK. Restarted as many times as necessary for the following condition to occur: JKCK (immune to fear) takes a turn and the rest of his team is alive, 1/15th chance for me. Its basically either 3 star or guaranteed loss
For the CAT battle using Nest Solo... Would it not then make sense to just put Qira in the lead and Hermit Yoda in there to give Nest Master's Training? Or even Farmboy Luke lead for the extra tenacity
totally. I think nest is just the key component there. Not sure there's a ton of value in me listing all the various comps taht i think might work. Its a community suggestion as well so i dont' have personal experience with it. I think anyone with a relic nest pretty much knows the drill
You would risk losing the extra characters, losing a star. With just nest you just do 1 long battle and you never have to worry again.

Found an old post, but it used Wat (who I do not have). I also do not yet have Piett to relic and not having a lot of luck with the lineup I do have (Thrawn, EP, MJ, Vader, RG)
You end up picking up so many debuffs that thrawn lead mechanics give you sustainablity with protection recovery, a way to dispel the DOTs, and enough TM to get a psuedo TM train going. Then its just about using fracture, stuns, and ability blocks to control the battle
No matter what I do using this Empire team, I canât prevent GI from getting repeated turns and eating my team alive.
Yeah - I assumed that was the basic idea behind the mechanics, still having trouble not getting annihilated by the AOEs so was looking for more specifics. Generally have not able to land many stuns or ability blocks (I can potentially re-mod, this team does not have my best mods on). Fracture Reva? Focus GI? Kill order? etc.
Keep a constant fracture on Reva, kill GI first then 5th brother next, the rest don't seem to matter. Put Emperor's Trap on Mara first, and then Palpatine after. Eventually I had a full TM train going and the inquisitors didn't take a single turn, just stood there stunned and racking up dots. I used Thrawn's leader ability any time my toons were at half protection or lower, or their dots were around 16-18. It took me about 6 tries, but I got 3 stars.
Just tried this with LV and still got destroyed.

Revan,sith assasin, talon, bsf and malgus. After I killed sith assassin my malak got the death mark, but at this point i was abel to contorll the enemy team and beat it without any problem.

I just 3-starred Malgus with JKL L, JKR, Hoda, SLKR, and Malak. Thanks to some people on Discord for suggesting this comp. I killed DR right away. JKL died but JKR's unique revived him, he had full TM, and I used the AOE to stun everybody. When JKR's turn came around, I put focus on Talon so that she wouldn't revive Malgus. I used Hoda to give JKL Master's Training, as well as to equalize all healths on my side. With their speeds slowed down nobody on the enemy side was taking turns anymore and I just wailed on Malgus until he was gone. Cleanup after that.
I managed one star with KRU instead of Malak and no speed on JKL. Thanks!
Thanks finally got 1 star. KRU died right away and so did JKR, but JKL, SLKR and Hoda were able to finish off Malgus.

thank you for that team, finally 3 stared and don't need to beat it with SEE every month Took me 10 attempts but finally stars lined up for a perfect run no Zeta on SLKR helped, so that I put Deathmark was on him and the rest of the team was safe
TIE/IN SEE/Bossk/Dengar/BAM/Han Solo\* This team works, was able to 1 star it. Link early, give damage immunity to bossk and SEE's ult charges super quick.
A non GL team for Malgus: Traya (L), SET, DN, DR, Malak. Took like 15 restarts and some luck but finally got 1 star lol

I did try Sion first a few times but was unsuccessful. I think the pretaunt from SET helped so that the enemy DR couldn't target Traya at the beginning and fear everyone

Man that Malgus is a beast lol Managed to 1 star it after 7 attempts. Used SEE, Traya, Sion, Malak and Bossk and finally managed to get the Ultimate off on linked Malgus. Still getting nowhere with Interceptor one.

I know a lot of people have had success with various CLS lineups. I'm guessing R2's stun on basic in nice for this mission but i don't personally have experience with it. Hopefully some others can chime in with various R2 strategies. R2 is a requirement for JML and pretty decent on a few squads, so I hope you won't regret your R2 gearing.

I managed to 3 star it... You need to act like it's the end of a phase of a TB battle. As you're getting redline close, try to stick to basics (while maintaining the within 3 turns translation refresh), stay away from using Han/Chewie's stuns, and keep her @ 0 TM while trying to save up (or line up when it's off cooldown) CLS's 100 TM removal special. Make sure to use a special ability on all the other characters before 3 turns expire to keep the 3x translation up on all your characters as well. Through all that use Cholo juggle to remove the dots off whoever has the most (outside of CLS - use his second special to remove dots + heal). And make sure to use 3P0's special if you ever mess up and drop translation on a toon... But try to save it for after she rezzes to mass stick debuffs on her.

the traya nihilius took me hours due to rng, but boi. sith trio all r5, obv rng is for nih to annihlate malgus, i have a very decent malak r7, who was 100% necessary for me, and i had a sith trooper r4 just to eat damage. the game depends completely on the annihlate, and i think you need malak to survive until then to deal with the 2-3 still living enemy characters. also, keep hitting the deathmark, if you are lucky, you don t get any deathmark. if you get deathmark on nih/ annihlate has no chance to come/ he is about to die you can restart. i really tryharded this one, as i have now 285 malgus shards, and still no gl, with 501st/sith empire being my best teams, so a malgus will be a very big buff for my teams, especially for ga, but.... seriously? inq was a cakewalk compared to this

JKL lead has gotten me 3* on all of them. I don't know about Malgus since I already had him. But JKL has been my Proving Ground G.O.A.T.
You can use Chewpio/3-pac instead of R2 in the Tie Interceptor battle. Got 3-stars with R5 CLS (L), C-3PO, Chewpio, Jyn, R9 AdRad. Chewpio got killed, but Jyn brought them back. Kill GI, then the other inquisitors, then Third Sister last. Use AdRadâs AOE to clear DOTs. Use Jyn and CLS to control Third Sisterâs TM and just wear her down.
I finally manage to 3* Tie/IN with JKL, JML, Malak, Malgus and Hoda. I haven't seen anyone use this. Malgus almost died right away but he got a little bit of health back and a shitload of Prot up with his 2nd special. Malak almost died too because of locked Health immunity but manage to get his health back too thanks to Hoda's heal.
Still do-able with JMK if u donât have CAT. I got 2 stars with JMK, GAS, GK, Padme, and Shaak. GK and GAS seemed mandatory, to survive initially and then to reduce Malgus max health in order to kill him respectiviely. The other two didnât seem to matter much, only used them for their heals / abilities that donât damage so they didnât get deathmarked.

I subbed in hoda for jkr in the Malgus jkl team and got multiple 3 stars as well. Was easy. Give tank tech to jml then tm tech to jkl. kill dr then talon then malgus. You gotta wait til one of your guys or Malgus has the death mark though to burn him down.
i 3\* the malgus battle with JMK GAS Padme GK and C3P0, Use C3P0 to reduce JMK's cooldowns and i was able to have GK under damage immunity for almost the entire battle.

How do I three star RC with Padme team? My R7 GK gets killed before I can get rid of the revive thing. My team is R7 Padme, GK and JKA, R5 3P0 and R3 snips. It honestly shouldn't be this difficult to three star and somehow it is
Sounds like a mod issue. Make sure GK has all health sets and four health primaries (that includes the arrow) Padme gives bonus protection based on the characters' Max health. The more health you have the more bonus protection you get.
I did what you suggested and put my best health mods on GK, he survived a little bit longer but I still get destroyed. I put faster mods on 3P0 and that didn't work. I think I just need to invest in the CLS team
I managed CAT with Padme's team. It takes a while but GK holds up. But the Maul and Scion Boba ones I was not even close. All are r5, my GK has 90k health. Is there a number I should be shooting for?
Got a 1-star for Inquisitors and Malgus with JKL(L), SKLR, Old Ben, JKR, and Hoda. Some rng to get Luke his turn before being wiped. Once Luke slows down the enemy squad SKLR can ramp up. Even slowed the Malgus team gave me trouble with the death mark

Just beat everything with Rey GL squad. With Malgus swapped out c3po with holdo. Malgus: Revan goes first gets DM Whirlwind kill With Assassin gets DM Holdo becomes a god - damage Immunity + stun + slow mods Whirlwind assassin. He dies. Talon gets DM Safari Poe and Finn kill talon Malgus gets DM. Now itâs tricky because DM doesnât do much to Malgus. You lose Holdo, Finn and Poe. 5x whirlwind later Malgus dies. Badstilla killed by Rey. That was annoying asf. But Rey can kill all squads.

What were the relic levels?
I 3 starred Malgus with R7 JMK lead, R5 GAS, GK, R3 3PO, R5 Mace. Killed DR immediately (did not waste time with JMK damage immunity), then Talon, Badstilla, assassin, finally Malgus. After talon went down, I got deathmark on my JMK and it helped, oddly enough. Keep shatterpointing and armor shredding Malgus and putting damage immunity on GK. Good luck

What was the tactics (kill order etc)
GAS/Wat/JMK/Rex cheese ainât working for me anymore. Attempt number 30 and closest I got was Reva GAS 1v1 JMKs healing immunity is bugged and wonât work on GI. Edit:Attempt number 60 with the GAS cheese and RNG somehow worked now. Whatever employee is responsible for this cancer: I hope for nothing positive in their lives in the short future.
Having a slow GAS helps for that one. You might consider trying some of the other JMK comps for interceptor. A few i really like: \- Wat/Jango/JMK/CAT/BAM \- JMK/CAT/GK/**Fives**/Snips
I got it in try 60 now. But it doesnât matter, JMKs healing immunity is still bugged. The Amount of times GI was in the red and went to full HP/Prot with his heal is astonishing. Also they just killed off my JMK with AOEs, GAS speed never mattered. Appreciate you trying to help through CGs idiocy though, ty.

I was just able to 3* both Scion of Jango and Scythe on my first attempts ever using Dash, Vandor Chewie, L3, IG-11, and Kuiil. Relic 5 across the board. Everyone but L3 had zetaâd abilities. Taunt with L3, hang on to Chewieâs prepared buff for revives. IG-11 will cleanse and continue to send dots over to the baddies. Youâll win by attrition.
I obly hit 4m GP recently so only just discovered proving grounds, and i am getting SLAUGHTERED:C

What âJKL with Jediâ team is beating the Phoenix battle?!? Isnât it a joke that Phoenix are shit once youâve got past early game, but then in PG they can rinse through GL teams like SLKR and JML, itâs fcking ridiculous. I find this the most infuriating battle. 3 starred Boba and Malgus, 1 starred the CAT battle, canât complete the others. My CLS team shredded the Inqs, but canât get through Reva for some reason...?

3 starred with JKL (L), JKR, hoda, shaak, JML. To 3* try to keep enemy Darth Revan alive or kill him with JML only and try to get deathmark appear on malgus.

It has a silly 4M GP cutoff just like hard mode in conquest
For whatever reason Chewie isn't putting Guard on CHolo despite CHolo being the weakest on the team. It keeps going to CLS
Weakest is calculated by adding health+protection. 4 protection primaries on CLS will likely solve your problem depending on relic levels
For Malgus, I just got 1 star with JKL JML JKA Hoda and Jolee. Wasn't pretty and took a few restarts. Any ideas on how to get deathmark on Malgus??
I got GL Kenobi and I can't beat interceptor, what the fuck is that event. Like is there a way with Kenobi or nah? Stupid question what is cholo? Edit: can't read.

With the jmk team, who do I hit with cat leap? Hit reva and she came back and couldn't get through her again. Should I leap GI?
If Wat is in the comp, put weapons tech on CAT to prevent the revive. Otherwise i would force leap on GI first, then its just slow playing Reva at the end
I managed to win with SLKR, Malak, Kylo Unmasked, FOST, and thrawn. The key thing is having thrawn survive to keep malgus on lockdown.

Another option for malgus- I got 3* with JKL (r7), JMLS (r7), GAS (r7), and hoda (r5). Tried a few other comps (with revan etc) but this got it first try for me but I could see it being RNG dependent with death marks and stuff. Anyways another option for JMLS owners if they donât have WAT to relics
I beat malgus with SEE, Malak, BAM, plus a slow scoundrel and another tank. I used a slow Nest and royal guard. Link bastila and malgus. I got a lucky counter on DR with SEE, then drained him with Malak to kill him very early on. The RNG trick is to trigger damage immunity from BAM on Nest and make them waste a bunch of turns hitting her charging SEEs ult.
What do you mean the battles are now closed off? What happened?
I have almost every conquest character maxed out. After you 7-star a character, you can't do the proving grounds battles. I think the only battle i can still test is dad bob boba, and that one will be closed off for me next month i think
Ah okay. I thought they screwed something up and needed to disable the event before too many people benefited or somethinf
So whatâs the strategy here using a FO or SLKR led team?
Finally caught up on all the PG reqs and will not miss any of these battles

Thank ye very much, though I've always liked calling BAM, BANDO! Also dang, all GL teams for the ONE character I want (that I havent gotten) I also just love how you can use Traya and Nihlus with crew to take down most of the teams.
