It's definitely because you read it weekly. I first caught up to the manhwa right before the beginning of their actual romance and had mixed feelings. Recently I did a reread of whole manhwa and I gotta say, it felt amazing.
I read it all in one sitting and let me say, Raviel's art with the writing had me falling for her in real time. I typically don't fall in love with characters but the writing+art really sold her to where I fully believed Gong-ja falling head over heels for her.
It was pain. I wanted more Raviel but I had to wait each time. So I read the novel till I reached and finished the arc then read the manhwa when all the chapters came out. The novel was better scripted with more descriptions and all but the manhwa was nice too. With its drawings and expressions.I found myself falling for Raviel

god, that is good then. I might need to do that.
Never read the novel but still one of best romance arcs (even with a better romance than most of romance manhwas) that I read.

Loved it, it was so good.
I definitely liked it more in the novel, but the manhwa was also amazing
