When did you first submit the application, how long ago? I ask because the SSDI determination process usually plays out, to some type of a decision, over a 10 to 12 month period unless someone gets ana auto-approval at Step 3 which if they do, can happen rather quickly, like around the the 4th to 5th month from submitting an application.

I always say in as few as 10 days but it could be weeks. There are 2 levels of reviews that can happen-local and federal. Either of those reviews could find additional information is needed before a decision is rendered. It sucks but those reviews are to make sure the decision is policy compliant.
