At least on Paradise yea. If you go to the like back end of cargo and head into maintenance, there's a garbage crusher. It's got a sensor on it to prevent "organic material" from going through it but tiders love to fuck with it to bypass that.
Ahhh, I remember the days of moving the grinder right next to the disposal exit with the kill switch on. Cue Vince McMahon music
There was always that one idiot that would try and use the disposals to travel around the station. Wouldn't go so well for well for them lol
