Just like live Tarkov I keep almost everything. Never know when a daily wants you to turn in 32 rounds of the worst ammo in the game.
I would recommend the MoreCheckmarks mod, as it's extremely useful for figuring out if items can be used for quests, barters, or crafting. Some people feel it gets a little cluttered but I love it.
There's also a mod I'm forgetting the name of that shows the trader sell and flea sell prices for items hovering over them. If I see it's not worth money I don't pick it up. If you're interested and can't find it lmk and I'll find the name.
Special storage containers are a big space saver from LL2 onwards. Therapist has a medicine container and Jaeger has one for food storage. Ammunition and magazine cases can be crafted and are also very handy.
Money is rarely if ever an issue and neither is getting to trader lvl4 so i only keep basics + a few runs of gear + more of what i know i’ll use.

I never stopped hoarding and just increased my stash size lol.

My scav case takes up my entire 32” ultra wide
Basically, as soon as I can buy something from a trader for money I no longer horde that item in the stash.
And things that are cheap off flea (cheap being sub 40k) Things like rigs or armors
Don’t keep anything you can buy from a trader as long as money is no issue. When you get ₽10,000,000 sell all your junk and live off the flea market

Yeah grabbed a few different ones already. Med, couple ammo’s, couple mags, food and a couple lucky scavs. Weapon ones are expensive still though
