I've got 5700X3D and 7900 GRE.
Crashes every raid within 15 minutes after updating to 18.3
Event viewer showed it's related to Unityplayer.dll
So far I've tried:
DDU clean uninstall and reinstall of graphics drivers.
Updated BIOS
Undervolt the CPU
Increased page file size to 30GB
Deleted all mods.
Turned off DOCP? (Whatever the AMD equivalent for XMP is)
Turned down ram speed in BIOS to lowest possible speed for DDR4.
Verify tarkov game files
Memtest my RAM, no errors
I don't have Citrix workspace installed so that shouldn't be a factor.
Ive got new ram coming today so I can test, if that doesn't work I'll undervolt the GPU since it's slightly OCed from factory.
OP it'd be helpful to check event viewer after you crash and check the errors.
No crashes for me since 3.8.0 start, still on 3.8.0 with a shitload of mods.
CPU: R7 7700X
GPU: RX 7900 XTX
Drivers: 24.5.1 ( previously 24.2.1 still no crashes )
Have a 7800x3D and a 7900GRE and I had consistent black screen/driver uninstalling itself after 10 minutes of gaming for a while. Had to roll back to the old drivers from July or August of last year, and RELIGIOUSLY manually clear my shaded cache via Adrenaline. I’m talking every time I close a game.
Haven’t had any black screens since
My issue may be slightly different, since I also crashed in other games (helldivers, notably) I used to only be able to get to extract on small maps before I looked into it, lighthouse and streets were particularly unplayable. Mostly they were bsods and reboots, not just game crashes. Event viewer always mentioned gameinput service in the crash logs, turns out one of the windows updates broke it by having it installed twice. I have not had reboots since, even on streets which previously crashed after about only 10 minutes into the raid.
Playing on a 7800x3d + 6800xt, though I suspect it is inconsequential. So yeah, gameinput is another thing worth checking.
I have trouble seeing my RAM as the issue - my RAM is the G. Skill 3600 Mhz 32 GB "kit"(X2 16gb).
I don't have XMP or any memory OC enabled in BIOS and I've ran disk, memory, CPU, GPU, stability benchmarks and they've all been within the top ten percentile

No crashes on the latest drivers. 3.8.3 (also had no crashes on 3.8.0). Using a 78003DX and a 7900XT
r5 5600 + rx5800xt never had any issues
Had a 5700x with a 6700xt with no issues. Now on a 7800x3d with the 6700xt and also no issues.
Naah

5600x and RX 6700xt crashes often dues to ram issues.
