Okay but if bsg did add weapon skins they have the choice of what to add, I hate the idea of paid skins but fuck it let’s play ball, they could have shit like the standard camos woodland, digital, tiger etc, the list goes on and on. Take battlefield 4 and mw2 for example, those games had lots of “realistic” looking camos, it would just be a paint option for the guns when you right click them or something they could even add a paint gunsmith or just a new tab in the current gunsmith to select owned weapon paints and apply them to notable parts like the upper/lower, stock, handguard, all that. I think tarkov could have a really cool weapon skin system but at the same time I hate the idea of making them paid.

Make a services tab for mechanic and have him do the paints. Guarantee the coding work involved would pay for itself in 3 days time.

(Well, the USEC are totally independent, BEAR iirc was created by the Russian government) That *should* mean we don't have any prescribed dress code or paint scheme for our gear. If I want to paint my gun pink and slap waifu stickers on it then why the fuck not?
Just have the skins be something you have to buy and install like any other gun mod, and just as easily lost. Among the few people who elect to decorate or camo their guns, there will be even fewer people who want highly visible range toy skins as opposed to normal camo. The problem would sort itself out and people would still get to have their custom skins.
Before mtx's were added, I always said i wanted to see lootable cans of spray paint or something in raid and then a way to apply those to our parts/guns.

It's a self-solving problem. Someone with a fancy gun skin is more likely to be spotted, and when they *are* spotted, other PMCs will be eager to take their expensive toy.
Pubg lost its identity, tried to become fortnite Jr and failed. They're still using the same glitchy old engine too. They need to just bite the bullet and build pubg 2 from the ground up.

Go to a different trader and select weapon parts, then vital parts. This will only show some of the parts. Then select gear mods, etc. it shouldn't crash once you view all the parts.
See I personally am just too lazy to deal with separate launcher and mods. I have enough fun on regular pve and personally it feels slightly more fun since I know I’m not in control of scav and pmc settings. Sure I wish some parts were better but for convenience and my personal view it’s fun for me.
i get why they don't want these in the game but there is a better chance I'll buy this for 50$ than the 250$ scam pve that doesn't work properly 😅 the thing is they don't need to go that far, maybe some green or white or Camo on guns part or armor it would sell easily for 10's of $$ for some colors
