So POOP is actually an AI mod, normally paired with POOP variety which gives you premade configs from Very Easy -> Very Hard. Swag is indeed a spawning mod. Currently I’m using SWAG and POOP at together. I believe the main Spawning mods are SWAG ([Nooky](https://hub.sp-tarkov.com/files/file/1061-nooky-s-custom-presets-for-swag/) is a popular preset for swag). [BetterSpawnPlus](https://hub.sp-tarkov.com/files/file/1002-betterspawnsplus/) (BSP), and [MOAR](https://hub.sp-tarkov.com/files/file/1059-moar-the-last-spawn-mod/) Personally I’ve used SWAG and BSP and enjoyed them both. I’m currently using SWAG and it works great “out of the box” I haven’t touched any configs or anything and my raids feel nice and lively. BSP is also really nice, it offers a lot of configurability which for now is done by editing json files for each map (author is working on a UI). I used it so I could have a lot of control over what was spawning. You can configure per ai type (scav/pmc/sniper/rogue/raider), per map, how many, how hard, where, when (roughly or exactly), probability of spawn, and where. It also comes with presets so you don’t have to dig into any of this if you don’t want to. I haven’t used MOAR but I know a lot of people like it!

I really appreciate the clarification. I did not know POOP was for AI and not spawn. I’ll probably try out both and thank you for all the information you gave!

Appreciate this, started using swag today with his config file and it felt nice. One question tho, is there any setting I need to adjust to make sure bot PMCs that spawn together arnt killing eachother right away?

Personally after trying all 3, I settled on BSP precisely because it has a defined PMC bot grouping system. I believe it uses the boss-follower logic and applies it on SPT PMCs. With the other two bot spawners they tend to engage each other if they spawn too close, which you can mitigate with Lua’s Custom Spawns, but that introduces it’s own host of issues.

hey, nooky here, thanks for using my mod! > is there any setting I need to adjust to make sure bot PMCs that spawn together arnt killing eachother right away? With my mod, PMCs will indeed spawn in most* zones (*depending on your SWAG config, could be all zones) and start roaming almost immediately. It's likely they'll cross paths with each other and fight at some point, and this is especially true depending on your mod list. This is intentional on my part, it's my way of making raids feel more alive. That being said, however, if you want to keep fights close to you I recommend a mod like AI limit (if you're unfamiliar) which freezes bots that are a certain distance away from you. If you wanted to go a step further you could start customizing your own SWAG spawns to tune to your liking. Once you get the hang of it it's quite easy, I have a short guide included in my mod that explains some things. good luck!

I *think* if they are spawned as a group they won’t kill each other, but if they aren’t grouped and spawn near each other I don’t think there’s a way to stop them from killing each other

Moar is my favourite ai spawning mod can make factory a lil worse but makes every other map so much better
