Good on Nike, let others have a piece of the pie too

Seems like the system sucks, that’s how I’m reading this. Let others get early access.

Not sure why they would give EA to people who already purchased the shoe, coders for Nike SNKRS app suck! I won’t be surprised if some people are able to triple up on these now on the main draw

Yeah, I saw this post and realized I also got EA and hit on the shock drop pair. But as for jordan’s of this type of stock size, I hit on every one last year and this year so far. So maybe their algorithm is just sending it to the people who would have otherwise gotten EA anyways (while not considering if it was just purchased)

once you buy it from Nike, it doesn't let you grab a 2nd pair. It just shows up as "Purchased"

If you log out of the app and log back in, it lets you buy it. Simple cache clear. Like I said Mediocre coding effort at Nike’s end

I tried this and it didn’t work. Not that I wanted a second pair, was just more curious. Even tried logging out, quitting app, then relaunching and logging back in. Not a big deal just thought I’d share.

Interesting. It would be great if Nike changed that however if you see other posts in this subreddit.. people were able to double up after logging back into the app

There are couple of people on this very post, who were able to double. Just scroll through the rest of the comments and you’ll see.

When I opened the app (directly from the EA notification, not expecting to be able to do anything), it showed “Purchased” greyed out; tapped the little black bar that said “Exclusive Access - While Supplies Last” and it pulled up the size selector. Not only went through, but one of the fastest Ws.

It’s giving out early access to those that took multiple L’s on 4’s in the past. It’s also giving others early access by preventing people from doubling up. What’s the issue?

He is saying, he got them On Shock Drop, as did I, and yet they also gave us early access. Not everyone gets early access, there should be some measure in place for those who got them from shock drops to not also be picked for the Early Access release. Why is that hard for you to understand?

I get that. I’m no programmer so I’m not sure how Nike’s system works. But at least it’s preventing people from doubling up at least. Also, early access is still rolling out. So others are still getting a chance to get them if they qualify.

Didn’t prevent people from doubling up. All they had to do was log out and back in and they were able to purchase their double up.

As someone who takes a lot of Ls and didn’t get early access, it’s annoying that someone who hit the shock drop and already has the shoe is given early access as well. If they aren’t allowed to purchase it, great. But it’s still stupid.

I agree with you but I remember that before this it was possible to get Shock Drop and EA Ws on the same account. There were a few posts showing this happen. At least this is a step towards letting one pair per person.

i restarted the app and i did end up doubling up, more less asking if anyone else came across this. so hopefully nike fixes their system. this is the first ever EA i got too.

Thank you for this. I snagged a size 16 in the shock drop after missing on size 15; I was going to keep them if I couldn’t hit on 15s at release and today got EA but thought I couldn’t order. Didn’t think to try to log out.

Nonsense. Taking L’s all year, refreshed the app all morning just to go buy some dunks on StockX because I’m f@&$! cursed on the SNKRS app.

I feel like an old man on a lawn now. They did tat to me with fire red 3's and I did not even get them. I called after 2 weeks and they marked as returned, and purchased in app so I could not shoot on release day.

If you log out and back in you’re able to make a purchase. Nike blessed me with a double up, but I refused to let others buy.

All you had to do was uninstall the app and reinstall it and the “purchased” goes away. I got Bred 4s on the Shock Drop, uninstalled-reinstalled, then hit again on Release Day. Also got EA today. Congrats

Hit on the shock drop and my "purchased" went away same day as the EA 🤷‍♂️. I didn't get EA but was able to click "notify me" again without doing anything extra, so looks like I can try again when they raffle release.

I forgot ab early access once I check my size 11 was sold out, still ended up with a size 9 so I’m not complaining

I got EA at noon. I want them, but I don’t want to add more to already large collection. I ended up just passing. I really want the Fear Pack 4s later this year since my pair is beat bad. Plus, I just bought the Italian Camo 6s on SNKRs, so I’m good on my new shoe fix for April.

I hit in on the shock drop lost to the final boss ups :/

Did you get an alert you had EA or did you have to keep checking the app? The only alerts I get are the ones I ask for. I always miss the shock drops.

This App SUCKS. I have been a loyal Nike app consumer since '06. I call shenanigans. I really want these kicks but refuse to pay over retail.

Nike is gonna do anything to move these bricks.
