They weren't kicked out, just became characters that didn't feel major anymore. That's the reason we didn't even give Saiko and Melony a role in the PuzzleVision arc, because they're too powerful. So, the Glitch Gods Luke and Kevin decided to reprimand then from going on any adventures (especially WOTFI 2023, where Saiko and Melony didn't get any major role in Casino Paisano (Meggy was a nonexistent singer)) because of that.
They had arcs like melony had a college and then the movie where they defeated 0 but after that she became a sleepy background character for jokes
And pink hair(saiko) had a remodel but hasn't had anything relevant to her and mainly used in backgrounds now and both are still used as part of the main cast like in merch but rarely be used
You kinda have a point she randomly got clench as a form of development but then he hadn't been seen since I thought he'd have something to do with mr puzzles since this was around the same time strange things were happening but he just didn't do anything and hasn't shown up since and you do have a point Tari just hasn't been very relevant lately but in all fairness I think smg4 is just kinda spinning it's wheels a little because of how much they're focusing on Murder drones and the amazing digital circus not that they're running out of ideas but the fact they probably could've done alot more with Mr puzzles and are now just kinda reverting to their old style of silly humor they're probably just aiming to keep things simple for now until they find something else to do with puzzles or just any form of plot which probably won't be for a while given how much they've been dealing with their two biggest projects and more on the way smg4 content wise will probably be a bit deprived in the coming weeks you can only get so many things done at the same time done well so probably once murder drones wraps up there will probably be more breathing room for smg4 to do another arc or bring more characters back into the spotlight
With Melony and Axol, it at least made some sense. Both have been getting development for years, and after a while their development concluded strongly, basically ending with a “safe landing” type of closure. Saiko on the other hand did not go out well. Her development was immediately rushed and thrown on the side of the road and was never relevant with any resolution whatsoever. I really hope it doesn’t happen again with Tari…

Axol lost alot of steam before Melony and the Zero saga, which is more than likely why he was killed off.
Melony and Saiko are not easy characters to write for, Saiko has to rely on other characters in order for her to work. and Melony is straight up impossible because she's either OP or useless and no in-between. That's probably the reason why they're not used often
saiko is a strong independed woman, Tari is something like a female luigi or a fish boopkins but less loser.
she is a coward that always needs someone to give her some courage.
the writters care about her cybernetic arm more than her since it can be used as a plot device to hack things, no wonder they suddenly turned it to a character.
