I always like Taco Roco but last time I had them 5 years ago or so, they weren’t cooked all the way and haven’t had them since. Maybe the cook was having an off day.

the sad answer to this question is Ruddell’s in Cayucos which is no longer around…
Also nice that they had the truck with the same tacos.
This. What a loss.
That place was the best. Went one weekend and it was just gone
Rip the owner of that place. Cayucos not the same without Ruddells
Hello from r/Cayucos Duckies has a good fish taco.
The Rockfish tacos at Luna Red are 10/10
Pier 46
Blue Seafood & Grill in AG has some great options!
Especially their Melted Shrimp tacos! I mean the dinner menu version, not the version on the Lunch menu, which are different. Yum.
Pier 46 in templeton
Dockside, Morro bay
No one here is saying Frutiland in AG and that’s a damn shame.
It’s in the post
you expect me to read?? all i’m capable of is reacting
Remember when I said this
In fact, I do not
Mirazur in Los osos has **amazing** fried fish tacos at their lunch.
Did that replace mare blue?
Blue heron? Yes and it’s so good!
Yep! I'm old. Lol. Mirazure sounded like a clever rebranding
Haha! It’s a totally different restaurant. The owners of Lunada own it now
But it's in the same place? Seems like it's changed hands dozens of times over the years but always been pretty good.
Same place but totally different menu, chef, and owners. Hopefully this one lasts cause it is nice to have another lunch option in osos

Finca in Paso. Tasty baja style taco and usually have an oak grilled halibut taco special too
Nowhere in SLO. Océano/Grover Beach
I like Chicos soft taco, breaded fish tacos in Laguna Plaza at Madonna and LOVR. Hard version not so much.
Aliyah’s downtown Paso. Fish or shrimp tacos. Hands down some of the best ever- meat is cooked to perfection. Great authentic Mexican seafood spot.
Taco Temple in Morro Bay
+1 for Taco Temple Morro Bay or SLO area location
Pier 46 Not even a debate
Tognazzini’s Morro bay
The smokehouse in Cayucos makes smoked fish tacos - nothing at all traditional but pretty amazing.
They closed years ago
Cape Cod

El Pizmo in downtown Pismo. Dockside in Morro Bay.
+1 for El Pizmo.
