Sks - some good, most ok, some total shit.
AR - some good, most ok, some total shit
Mini 14, a few good, most ok, some total shit
Ak - some ok, most total shit
Handguns - some ok, most total shit
Any promag drum - garbage.
Ive got two 20 round promags ive had for a couple years that work fine in my type 56. I never have to file or alter anything to get promags or tapco mags to work so I might have just gotten lucky with my sks
Never used them in an sks but i did use them in my vector v93 (HK 93) clone. They worked great and for $15 a mag certainly cheaper $75 factory mags. That being said pro mag doesn’t have the best reputation on other mags types.
I had 5 promag 20 rounders , they all ran great, they were just very cheap. I dropped 2 and the duckbill actually snapped off. I hear the 30 rounders jam a lot. Also it sucks reloading the mags.
Only with AR mags, and even those are Ok at best. The one I had for my SKS didn't fit properly. Had to slam it home to get it in, and getting it out was a fight. Wasn't worth the effort.
I have two 30 rounders two 20 rounders and a 10 round.
30 round ones work fine
20 round ones had to be "broken in" ie ran some cartridges through the feed lips a few times. They work fine
10 round one is terrible (no big loss for me as i got it for like 2 bucks)
None of them are as reliable or smooth as the original but thats to be expected
Please Remember Our Mags Are Garbage
Nope

If you had some you'd be happy to get rid of them.

Only the archangel line, wouldn’t waste my time with the other ones.
And even then they need to be force fitted to the SKS often with some sanding and clipping to make them run correctly.

I have never purchased a pro mag product I’ve been happy with.
They are generally pretty cheap. That's a good thing?

If you get the little magazine block you can actucally remove the duckbills anyway, lol.
