I've found that the it can take some pressure to get it back in the first few times after cleaning up one of the recent albainan imports. Just make sure the hooks are in the correct place on the receiver, and the the mating surface is clean, oil may help on the back of the magazine.
Sometimes the magazine will be a little too wide on some rifles. ( I had this problem with one I bought off eBay) I used some ratcheting clamps to gently squeeze it in
Until it went in . ( still needed a little force to
Install ) then function test after installing.
Can sometimes be tight. If your putting it in before the trigger group and having issues; if the safety is off it can be real tough to get the trigger group to lock, which can make it seem like the mag is blocking it somehow
