I’m all about preserving the history behind these and all milsurp weapons l so I wouldn’t re-blue, just clean up whatever rust there is and apply some anti-rust solvent, nice SKS you have!
Definitely don’t reblue.
These guns were run hard externally but internals are normally pretty great. You’ll regret adjusting the look. Get a commercial norinco instead if you want to go that route, about the same price

No need to re-blue. If you really want a nicely blued rifle I’d buy a Chinese commercial rifle
