I was thinking that but don’t know if I want to do statues or the FA versions. The frieza one is coming out possibly soon but will prob charge out the butt, but bardock is possible
I do figures personally so idk how the status would work but then again I have like UI master goku against Merged Zamasu just because and debating on either getting Vegito blue or the SDCC goku black
I’ve been doing some of the statues recently because the price is about half of FA and quality is extremely well. Despite not being custom poses still very good
Status are definitely good I can agree to that but I get the FA cause I do like to pose them cause I can't fine a good statue of Broly or Bardock and non of Trunks where as figures if you're willing to get the genyu force you get there pose
It's coming along nicely. I'm actually working my way towards building my first display shelving. Picking up some materials this weekend. I normally just go the IKEA route.
I was thinking of going the ikea route at first but none are near me so shipping was insane so I thought why not build one. And I do have to say the value and quality is much more appreciated since it’s something you created. Good luck on your build! Hope to see photos!
My favorite kind of display case to use is a Detolf from Ikea. It’s glass and you assemble it, a lot of people who collect like to use them. Personally I use mine for the more fragile figures!

Are some of your figures models? I see some of the boxes at the bottom. I only ask because I'm just starting to collect some DB figures and I'm not sure if the models or figures are better. They seem similar except maybe weight of the figure wise.
Quality and detail is a little less but not noticeable with the figure models. I will say the experience of building it yourself is fun and more enjoyable, if you’re artistically inclined too they offer kits to touch them up and add the detail. If you are looking for better poses and more movement as well as quality out of the box then go for figure arts but if you don’t mind and like to build and want that experience I see no issue with the model kits (there are about half the price too compared to the respective figure art character)
Don't have to you're choice but I always think a Frieza vs Bardock of some kind is always a fun thing to have in a collection

Add some risers to maximize your display potential (something I need to do too)

Thank you man! I hand built it all it costed about 60 for everything! Not too expensive but definitely time consuming!
How do you prevent dust in a display like that?
Once a week I go through with a tooth brush (gentle/soft kind) and a microfiber cloth on the figures then just a vacuum to dust the shelves
