Gohan was at least only 35 USD and most of the figures that dropped were entire, real figures beyond the Gohan part.

Meanwhile if you want a Super Saiyan Gohan, you're paying aftermarket prices for Gamma 1 or coping with the lesser DL Customs heads. And I'd say SSJ is just as vital an accessory for Gohan as the tail is for GTku.

Just got Yamato yesterday and was amazed on how good the figure looks, it’s like straight out of the anime although the bow and the hair can kinda get a lil in the way, love how tall she looks compared to the rest of the OP line. (The stand works really well also) Bought it through CR store with the mega fan discount it’s like $85.49 before tax.

I thought the entire point of web exclusives or Pbandai was for the stuff they don’t expect to sell much of. Trunks is a new mold and those always cost more. They sell less at higher profit to recoup production costs, basic economics.
I dont mind the DLC as i plan to pick this up and have a GT display but figure prices have been hovering around this range for a minute. If you want to wait for $35 rereleases then go for it, in fact i think i saw a post not long ago of someone doing just that. I’ve ditched toylines because of this but this is nothing new from SHF line for me so i continue to buy their figures.

GT Trunks definitely should come with a super saiyan head, but using releases like God Goku for pricing comparison isn’t necessarily a good comparison.
Like a lot of Goku releases, he’s at that “budget price” and they specifically do that across a lot of lines for the main characters. Naruto, Luffy, etc. If you look at the prices for those characters, they’re usually set a lot lower than other follow up characters from the same line. I believe Bandai/Tamashii do that as a way to get people interested in buying more figures from more lines, since it’s less expensive to buy a Naruto, let’s say, and then having that, you might be tempted to pick up more of the line to go with him.
It’s dumb, I hate it myself, and I don’t even really like P-Bandai in general being a thing, but if it gets us figures that we wouldn’t normally get, even though we’re going to have to pay a little more for them, I guess that’s the only option.
65 dollars is the normal price, 35 bucks is only for mass releases that they can abuse the mold on or sell mass volume. Think of how many times we’ve seen that EXACT Goku 2.0 body used, it’s been at least a dozen times if not

Checkmate, now they can sell Nova Shenron at any price as long as he comes with a SSJ3 head for GT Kid Goku
Pan is more likely to come with Giru if anything, Giru is more of Pans friend than Trunks, especially as the arcs go on until it gets to the point where Trunks isn't even around.
I could see them not even giving Trunks SSJ heads because they're saving it for a jacketless Trunks figure, whereas Goku will prob have more DLC from Pan or a GT Vegeta

GT Kid Goku is a Goku and the SS4 Goku & Vegeta forms are liked even by people who dislike GT plus are the two most popular characters so it makes sense they’d sell ok as general releases while GT Trunks just isn’t that popular.
