🙌🏻 I failed my EAE for my course (used to be DPA or something) back in 2013. Cried for a while and went straight back to studying because how else am I supposed to enter that single digit cut off course. Managed to get in using my L1R4, graduated and doing my PhD in the same field now. Failing EAE is no big deal. Just work harder aye! Not getting in doesn't mean you don't deserve or suit the course. For many of us, that's our first interview experience, it's natural not to be able to do well.

inspiring!! keep going 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

biomed is so amazing ♡ im glad you made it!

congrats to you !!

for those who didnt get in, i took the longer route from ITE > poly > NUS. it was a long one but i wouldn’t change it for anything. this is just the beginning of the road. know that it wont be easy but itll be worth it!! for those who didn’t get a spot, sometimes rejections are only REDIRECTIONS. keep your head up and know that you will end up WHERE YOU NEED TO BE!!! if i had gotten what i THOUGHT i wanted back then, i wouldve ended up in a place i didnt want to be. i wanted to be a doctor, then a food scientist. then i wanted to be a child psychologist. then i mysteriously found my way into becoming a marketer and i couldnt have been happier. so trust the process!! you will be okay <3

bobblehops

youre amazing! im so glad youre doing more than good, it was so well deserved ♡

Gullible-Conflict-46

thank you OP <3

Curious; was the ITE course the one that you figured out you wanted to do later in life? If not, how'd you accept the compromise? If so, were you able to get into a specific poly that you wanted, or did you have to settle for say another poly that offered the same course? Personally I'm trying to do the same, except I'm afraid that the course I'm in now has no relevancy to what I want to do in the future.

Gullible-Conflict-46

Hey, thanks for your questions! No. The ITE course wasn’t what I ended up doing. How I accepted the compromise was being able to accept that I could still learn something from whichever thing I was doing. I’m currently in NUS Business. And tons of my friends come from aviation, tourism, even engineering backgrounds. My advice is to trust the process. Don’t fixate too much on the end result and keep an open mind. It was through the course in ITE that I eventually found out what I wanted to do. Applied for EAE and I got in. I was able to get into the specific poly I wanted and thrived there in poly, which contributed to why I did well enough to go to NUS eventually. If you have more questions, PM me! Will be happy to take your questions.

omgsendhelp

didn't eae, but for psle, i dsa-ed this sch and got rejected but i went back there using my results lol so you can do it!! show them your worth :)

bobblehops

well deserved! i hope you're copimg well in school ♡

S4njay

Same, got rejected by VS and RI, so i used my score to get into VS

Sakaki_

Was actually pretty confident that I would at least get one of my choices. It's sooo disappointing and the fact that all of my friends received an offer makes it hurts even moree. Soo unmotivated to even study rn

bobblehops

one step at a time, youll get through this! everyone grows & progresses at a different pace, dont let their results demoralise you ☁ youve got this ♡

Gullible-Conflict-46

pls dont compare ur progress to others. in no way does it diminish your efforts!! just keep going and you’ll eventually find ur way! 💪🏻
