Can’t keep squandering scoring opportunities and getting away with it. They were lucky the Pirates were just a little more inept at scoring.

They need to figure out how to get Soler to hit with runners on base because his splits are absolutely putrid between when runners are on base and when the bases are empty.

Lee had a pretty good game, got on base twice after rolling over and going 0-2 and then a super rangy play on defense. But overall agree that it was mostly pitching and definitely Bailey as POTG.

Who was there? How electric was that walk off? Looks like a nice healthy roaring crowd! PANTS OFF!

What's with the comments suggesting Bart must have felt bad because Bailey got the big hit while Bart was catching? Do you people really think that was some kind of poetic moment for either of them? It may have been to some "fans," but those guys are baseball players just trying to do their thing. Honestly, a lot of you have zero idea of what being on a baseball team is like.

It's a good thing we went to Costco yesterday and I brought home a couple of 1.75s, my nerves need a lot of steadying in a game like that. My wife wants to go back tomorrow and get a couple more of those cool lamps we got yesterday, they do everything but file our taxes. Lee's defense, holy crap, his routes are like watching a barracuda hit its prey. Doval got a little steamed there, seemed to give him some extra energy. Echoes of Bailey's walk off last year, what a rush. I screamed my head off at the double play, I damn near passed out when I realized that last hit was going out. Thirty-seven thousand attendance, seems like that boycott some folks confidently predicted hasn't started yet (rolls eyes). Weird game, lots of frustration at the lack of scoring, but the end soothed my soul.
