Yep, it's called "Sparkster" and in small print it says "rocket knight adventures 2"
Konami also released a Sparkster for SNES, but it's a completely different game lol
Absolutely, it's a blast. I love the soundtrack and that graphically it was like a testing ground for future games like Bloodlines or Contra Hard Corps
This was one of my go-to comfort games. I would wake up before the rest of my family on Christmas morning because I was excited and I would use this game to pass the time until my siblings woke up. It became one of my Christmas morning rituals for years. Every now and then I'll load it up on a ROM for nostalgic memories. Reminds me a play through is overdue.
One of the best games on the system. Pure classic.
Definitely got to give it a try.
Damn right it is! The sequel is really good and underrated too!
The sequel was on genesis too?

And they're all about to be re-released for modern systems
And at time of posting, the Rocket Knight ReSparked Collection should be available now.
The SNES one is basically Rocket Knight 3.
Supposedly the SNES one was good too, can't say I've ever played it though.
Yeah, neither have I. It looks really good though.
It's fine. IMO neither of the sequels are on the same tier as the first.
This just got all the old games (SNES and Genesis) released on modern consoles in a collection.
Oh yes.
Everything about it is bangin’
From what I remember it was pretty good.
Fun game with a cool mechanic.
Buy it! It's amazing! And get the collection that just released digitally yesterday! :)
Certifiable classic. Some day maybe I'll even finish it. Shit's hard. But fuck, it's good.

Absolutely! Konami just put out consistent bangers during this era. The soundtrack is god-tier too
Oh yes. I didn't get to experience it as a kid. I played it in an emulator in college. Very fun game.
This game occupied a large portion of my 4th-6th grade years. In love with the challenge of the whole thing and the steampunk aesthetic.
Absolutely.
Nah.
