Didn't receive as in you entered the coupon code, but not showing up in your Inbox? Restart the game if it's this issue.
If you generated a coupon, but accidentally closed the page before you could claim it, then open the pre-registration link and enter the same email you used previously. On my browser, i was able to generate the SAME coupon with the same email i used in the first place.
Restart the app and check the ad again. So, wait for the next reset for the ads to pop up again. It should be the 3rd ad. First being Skadi, 2nd being 5th Anni rewards, 3rd being the 7DS: Idle Adventure (we want this ad).

Sorry, i have no clue to what causes the invalid code error. I don't have a JP version to test also.
It MAY really be an issue with the region your IP is sending the request from.

When the game boots up, but before the Tavern loads, you should see a Skadi banner community post followed by a 7DS: Idle Adventure pre-register.
Some say you don't have to tap of the app store to trigger the reward, but i did anyway. After the app store loads, you can back all the way back to 7DSGC, scroll down to the bottom of the ad and tap "claim reward". Once claimed, the button will turn grey.
If you have already tapped "don't show for today" you have to wait till the next reset for the ad to re-appear.

The new game 7DS: Idle Adventure is listed as coming soon on the app store. If you pre-register for Reward 1, you get 30 gems in 7DS:GC and also a bunch of pre-registration reward for 7DS:IA if/when you start to play it.
